We Are Destined - Let Me Pamper You

Feng Jin who joined the gorup in the last saw Feng Jianyu staring at the emergency room blankly and felt bad for him.

Jianyu looked beyond exhausted and lifeless. In these four days, he was working non stop to find her. Without proper meal and sleep, there were heavy bags under his eyes and dark circles have gotten worse.

The high and mighty, domineering, ruthless and polished CEO Feng Jianyu was nowhere seen. It was only a normal man sitting on the cold chair, looking anxiously at the closed door.

Feng Jin doesn't know anything about the woman currently being treated. But when he got Jianyu's call a few days back asking him to assist in the search operation and handle the military power issues of County B, he was beyond shocked.

According to Feng Jianyu's nature, he won't mingle with anything other than related to Feng Corporation and family. But that day he directly asked him to handle Country B's military. Not only that, he coordinated with the Presidents of both the countries and cleared the necessary formalities. No doubt they have friendly relations between both countries but this was unbelievable.

However, after talking to Feng Junjie and Wang Shi he realized the importance of this woman in his big brother's life.

He sighed; this is the disadvantage of staying away from family and serving your country. You miss so many things and happy moments. His big brother finally found the love of his life, but he was oblivious of everything and didn't even get the opportunity to be the part of his brother's love story.

Feng Jin took off his military hat, tucked it under the armpit and walked to his brother and put his hand on Jianyu's shoulder. He just sat there silently making him feel his presence. Being a solemn and restrained man, he doesn't know what to say in this situation.

After few hours Wang Shi came out of the emergency room and saw Jianyu in a dejected state and kneeled down in front of him silently.

Jianyu's hands trembled; he looked up at Wang Shi with hopeful eyes. After a long silence, it broke abruptly when Wang Shi and Feng Jianyu chuckled and pulled each other for a hug. Feng Jin understood and shook his head and joined the brothers in a hug, surprising the others standing there.

Lu Xion "…."

Everyone else "…."

"She is fine," said Jianyu, rejoicing while hugging Wang Shi.

"Yes!" Wang Shi confirmed, not for Jianyu but for others who were waiting anxiously. These brothers don't need any verbal communication in between them, their eyes are more than enough.

"Yes, brother. My future sister in law is absolutely fine" Feng Jin said solemnly. His face still composed and collected, "Finally I would meet her soon. After hearing Junjie's rambling I'm looking forward to this meeting"

"First concentrate on the task you are here to do" Feng Jianyu chided him and looked at wang Shi, "I want to see her"

"Sure! But she's sleeping right now and won't wake up anytime soon" Wang Shi warned Jianyu. Like a gush of wind, Jianyu rushed to the emergency room to see her.

Feng Jin shook his head at his brother's changed behavior and got up. Like a strict military man he placed his hands behind him, chin slightly up, and looked at Wang Shi, "I'll check on the situation with Qingzhou. Although we took over the control of most of the city and rescued the people stuck in various locations, the root cause of the problem is still untouched as my team failed to find out the location of Kong's secret base. The address provided by local people was of divisional office of the company and even the employees arrested from there doesn't know the exact location of the base. I hope Miss. Xiu Mei will shed some light on this issue"

Wang Shi understood the point and nodded, "Rest assured I'll inform you when she wakes up"…. 'But only after consulting Jianyu' He didn't voice out the last line.

Because Xiu Mei was sleep-deprived and injured, she had slept for one entire night and day. Next day night she woke up.

The room in which she was resting was warm and dimly lit. An annoying sound of Beep…. Beep… beep… made her grumpy. 'Shut up! Stop making this disgusting sound. Damn! God threw me in hell for my sins'

Pouting her lips she opened her eyes slowly and panicked looking at the unfamiliar room. As she tried to get up, a familiar fragrance and warmth beside her calmed her down. She turned her head to right and saw Feng Jianyu sleeping with her. To be precise, she was spooned into his arms just like how she sleeps with him every night.

'This cannot be hell. This is my own personal heaven… My monster is sleeping with me…. this heaven is so beautiful'

Suddenly she felt disoriented and confused about her current state, but what is he doing in heaven along with me? He should be on earth, Alive.

'Did God let me see him once? Can I touch him? Or will I pass through him just like how spirits do'

Xiu Mei looked at him carefully; he looked terrible but handsome as always. She ran her fingers over the dark stubble on his cheeks. 'I can touch him. But his cheeks are no more soft'

Her fingers brushed on his dark eye bags, 'Why black and swollen?'

The frown on Feng Jianyu's forehead remained entire time, even in his sleep. She ironed it with her fingers only to see them return back. 'Why worried? Wait I'll take away your worries'

She propped up her body a little and rained kisses on his face just like how he does it with her.

Feng Jianyu woke up from his sleep when he felt soft and wet touches on his face. His eyes widened in shock when he saw Xiu Mei's beautiful face so close to him. His hands reflexively sn.a.k.e.d around her waist, "My love!?"
