You're My Only Star

At the beginning of the month, Song Xing Xing packed her suitcase and headed to the airport. Her classmate, Qiu Ling Yi had an engagement party and she had promised to attend the event.

Coincidentally, on the same day, Lu Xun will be heading to L City for business. Their flight time was an hour apart. However, the couple decided to head over to the airport at the same time to spent their time together. They appeared at the airport separately and headed to the VVIP lounge. 

After Lu Xun had broken the news that he was dating someone, the reporters have been trailing after him in hope that they could catch a glimpse of his private life and see which girl did he managed to date.

These days, it was not easy for them to meet and date. Now that they finally get the chance to date, they were not going to waste a second of it.

As there were not many people around the place, the two sat together and chatted until it was Lu Xun's time to catch the flight.

Although this was not the first time that they will have to be apart, the feeling of sending each other to the airport was a little different.

Song Xing Xing took the flight half an hour after Lu Xun and headed to Y City.

When she arrived, Song Xing Xing turned on her phone and saw the text from Lu Xun that he had arrived in L City. After texting him that she had arrived in Y City, Song Xing Xing headed over to the arrival hall.

Her family was aware that she was going to return to Y City and had sent a driver to pick her up at the airport.

As soon as she boarded the vehicle, the elder driver sent her back to her parents' place. 

Song Xing Xing entered the house and saw that her mother was waiting for her in the living area.

The moment the driver had told her that they had departed from the airport, Ye Ling Feng has been waiting for her daughter to arrive home. She stood up immediately and gave her daughter a look over. Seeing that the girl did not go thin, Ye Ling Feng was very satisfied.

Her daughter was living alone in her apartment in Capital City. Ye Ling Feng was always worried about her daughter.

"It seemed that you have grown a little fat."

This was not something that Ye Ling Feng had said.

Turning around, Song Xing Xing found that her brother was standing beside the staircase, looking at her. Song Xing Xing shot her brother a dangerous look. 

However, she indeed could not refute her brother's words. These days, someone has been feeding her good food to win her heart. Song Xing Xing was unable to resist the food and had eaten a lot than she usually did.

The result was that… she had gained some weight…

"Why are you here as well?" Song Xing Xing asked.

"Why can't I be here? Isn't this is my house as well?" Song Wei answered. He heard from his mother that his sister was going to return to Y City and decided to return as well.

"Alright, it was not easy for your sister to come home. Stop teasing her," Ye Ling Feng said as she looked at her children. Her gaze fell on her son and Ye Ling Feng clicked her tongue. "Your sister has only arrived and you were already talking about her weight. You see, Song Wei, this is why you can't have a girlfriend. You have to learn to speak nicely."

Song Xing Xing laughed happily when her mother took her side. Then, she shot her brother a smug look.

Song Wei rolled his eyes. "Mom, what do you mean? Why are you worrying about my girlfriend? I still have a year before I can graduate from university. Shouldn't you worry about my sister's love life instead? She's my older sister. You see, even Sister Ling Yi will be getting married soon. What about my sister? Mom, don't you want to hold a grandchild soon?"

"Don't drag your sister into this." Ye Ling Feng waved her hand to her son. Then, she turned to her daughter and smiled. "She already has someone she liked. Your sister is such a good girl. She'll have a boyfriend soon."

Song Wei looked at his sister in disbelief. "No way. Sister, do you have someone you like? Who is it? Why didn't I know anything about it?"

A thought came to her mind and Ye Ling Feng's eyes lit up as she looked at her daughter. "That's right. Xing Xing, what happened to that person? Last time, you told me that you like him but he did not know about it yet. Did you finally make some progress?"

Her body stiffened. She had actually returned to Y City wanting to talk about her boyfriend as well. However, with her brother around, it would be impossible to speak about this. Suddenly, she wondered what will be her mother's reaction when he found out that she was dating Lu Xun.

Song Xing Xing leaned forward and act coquettishly with her mother. "Mom, can you not ask me about this? I'm a bit tired after the flight. Let me go back to my room and rest, alright? Let's talk about this later."

Ye Ling Feng heaved a sigh. "Alright. You go back to your room first. Mom had already let the auntie clean up your room. Let's wait for your father to return before we have dinner together.

Song Xing Xing ran over to her room with a big smile on her face. On her way upstairs, she did not forget to stick her tongue at him.

Once she had entered her bedroom, Song Xing Xing lay on the mattress and stretched her body. It has been a long time since the last time she had stayed in the room. Looking around, it was a little nostalgic. After all, this was the room that she had stayed in while growing up.

After rolling around the bed for a while, Song Xing Xing took out her phone and sent a text to her boyfriend to tell him that she had safely arrived at her parents' place.

A few seconds after the message gone through, her phone started to ring. Her eyes lit up upon seeing the caller ID. Song Xing Xing swiped her finger on the screen and pressed the phone to her ear. She lay on her stomach and moved her legs excitedly.

"What are you doing?" 

"I just checked in into my room, Later, I will text you the hotel room." Lu Xun paused and took a deep breath.. "It has been a few hours since we separated but Xing Xing, what should I do? I really miss you."
