You're My Only Star

Song Xing Xing stood in front of the stove and turned around only to notice that someone was staring at her. The look on her face turned shy. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Why can't I look at my girlfriend?"

"Stop staring at me. If you continued to stare at me like that, I'm afraid that I won't be able to make anything for supper."

"You're working hard to prepare a bowl of noodles for me. Of course, I have to admire my hardworking girlfriend." He narrowed his eyes and nodded. "Un. Very good-looking.

Her face turned pale at his words. "Stop it. Or else, I would not be able to concentrate. What if I accidentally cut my fingers?"

The person only turned his head away for a few seconds before he continued to stare.

Lu Xun pushed his glasses up with a finger and his lips tilted up into a smile. The day has been tiring for him as he had to deal with a lot of problems after he had revealed the news that he was dating someone. After the news had broken out, the President's office was too busy as they had received a lot of calls. Everyone wanted to know the identity of the girl in the photograph.

Fortunately, the restaurant where they had visited last night was very professional. Even after a lot of reporters had tried to pay them for a clear picture of Song Xing Xing, the restaurant management did not leak a thing to them.

However, Lu Xun was not a little bit upset to face the reporters' persistent probing into his private life. Instead, Lu Xun was very happy to handle the extra work explaining to them. Of course, in actuality, Lu Xun had only given a few instructions while it was Bei Yuan who had to handle everything for him.

Song Xing Xing turned off the heat and poured the noodles into the bowl. Once everything was ready, she  placed the bowl of noodles in front of him and raised a brow.

"You seemed very happy today. Did something good happened?" Song Xing Xing asked.

She had thought that he would be tired after running around to deal with the media. Why was he so happy even after the news of them dating had broken out? Shouldn't he be upset that the reporters had tried to pry into his private life?

Lu Xun tugged at her hand and let her sit down on his lap. His arms wrapped around her waist, preventing her from moving around.

"What are you doing?" Song Xing Xing linked her arms around his neck and looked at him straight in his eyes. "Didn't you say that you are hungry? Go and eat the noodles quickly."

"Song Xing Xing."

"Un?"

"I'm happy."

Song Xing Xing giggled. "Un. I can see that. Are you going to tell me why you are this happy?"

Lu Xun drew her closer to him until their forehead were rested against each other. "Well, you let me tell everyone that we're dating. Of course, I would be happy."

Song Xing Xing knew well that Lu Xun was always looking forward to telling others the news that they were dating. Now that he had managed to broadcast to everyone that he was dating someone, of course, Lu Xun was over the moon.

"They did not even mention my name. At this time, you are still dating a nameless person," Song Xing Xing pointed out. "Does this still made you happy?"

"Un." Lu Xun nodded. "I'm very happy."

Song Xing Xing laughed. "Why are you this easy to please?"

"Isn't that a good thing for you?" Lu Xun said.

"President Lu, be careful that I might take advantage of you."

He actually did not mind if she wanted to take advantage of him. Knowing her, even if she wanted to take advantage of him, Song Xing Xing would never go overboard.

"Then go ahead." In the end, the person who took advantage of their situation and position at the moment was Lu Xun. He leaned forward and pulled her into a long, lingering kiss. 

His lips felt very soft and warm against hers. Song Xing Xing could not help but reciprocate his kisses.

The two of them rested on each other's forehead after the kisses ended. Song Xing Xing closed her eyes and bit at her lips, relishing the way his kisses made her feel.

Song Xing Xing opened her eyes slowly noticed that Lu Xun had taken off his glasses. Lu Xun was very attractive when he had his glasses off. Song Xing Xing stared into his eyes and found that she had lost herself in them.

The way his eyes were staring into hers, gave her this feeling as if her heart was going to burst anytime soon. Her heart was filled with him. 

How was it possible for her to like someone this much? 

"You taste sweet," Lu Xun said as he pulled away. He stretched his hand and caressed one cheek softly.

Song Xing Xing blushed and  lowered her eyes shyly. Then, she quickly get off his lap and adjusted her clothing. "You should go and eat first before the noodle gets soggy." 

When she turned around to look at the bowl, Song Xing Xing found that the noodles had actually turned soggy. She looked at Lu Xun and hesitated. "Should I make you another bowl instead?"

"It's fine. The noodle is still edible." As if to prove it, Lu Xun dragged the bowl closer and took a bite at the noodles. "Un. It's a little soggy but it is still delicious." He took another bite at the noodle and smiled.

Song Xing Xing took a seat across him and propped her elbow on the table. "Are you going to stay here tonight?"

His eyes darkened at the thought of staying at her place. However, Lu Xun knew well that this was not the time. "I can't. I have to head back to my place. I will probably run into someone who recognized me if I leave the next morning. Then, it will be dangerous for you if people started to investigate you."

"It's going to be hard on you to escape the reporters."

Lu Xun put the chopsticks down and looked at his girlfriend. "When do you think that we can have a date openly?" He wanted to be able to walk on the street with her without putting on the mask on his face.

"It's not that I'm not willing to tell others that I'm dating you," Song Xing Xing said. "Just that, this is the first time that I have been in a relationship. Before I tell others, I wanted to talk to my mom first.. If my parents find out the news from others, it will only be troublesome."
