After they entered the hall, the reporters were focusing more on the top celebrities who attended the event. Seeing that the camera was no longer focused on her, Song Xing Xing let out a breath of relief. This way, she no longer had to lower her head all the time.

The couple walked side by side with Director Fei accompanying them. Once the others saw that the big boss of the NEXT Group had entered the hall, everyone took the chance to get close to Lu Xun.

After all, the man had started an entertainment agency not too long ago and now ventured to have their studio. It hasn't been long since the studio had started its operation and they had already been in talk of producing a few high-budget dramas and movies.

Moreover, President Lu was someone who was generous with investment. It would be a waste for them not to take the chance to get close to him.

Song Xing Xing looked at the people who came to talk to Lu Xun and kept a smile on her face. 

Initially, she wanted to stay aside and let the others talk to him properly. However, the man kept his hand around her waist, preventing her from moving around. 

At this time, a few directors brought along some beautiful female celebrities, intending to introduce them to President Lu. However, once they saw that a girl was accompanying him, the directors could only look down with an embarrassed look on their faces.

Everyone knew that President Lu is someone who had never get close to another woman. Seeing the way President Lu was had stayed with the woman from the beginning to the end, everyone concluded that she should have a special identity to stay beside him.

But, no one seemed to have seen this woman before. She shouldn't be someone from the entertainment industry, right?

Even though some of them had met Song Xing Xing as she was working as the post-production staff, none of them were able to recognize her with the makeup on her face.

Everyone was curious. But still, no one dared to ask anything.

Lu Xun was exchanging a few pleasantries with the directors when he seemed to recall something. He immediately excused himself and brought Song Xing Xing to sit down around the designated table. 

"You don't need to discuss business with them anymore?" Fortunately, she was also someone from the entertainment industry and had understood the matter that Lu Xun and the others had discussed.

Lu Xun did not answer her but instead, lowered his gaze to look at her feet. A frown appeared on his face when he saw that her long dress was covering her ankle. 

"What are you doing?" Song Xing Xing immediately retreated her legs. Then, she looked around to see if anyone was watching them.

Even if he wanted to play hooligan, he will need to observe their surroundings, right?

"You injured your ankle not too long ago. Now, you're even wearing high heels," Lu Xun said. "I just wanted to check if it's still hurting."

Song Xing Xing put a hand on his arms. "It's fine. It doesn't hurt anymore." Most of the time, she was leaning her body towards him. With his body supporting her weight, her ankle did not feel any pain.

"Really?" Seeing her nod, Lu Xun felt a little better. "Tell me if it started to hurt, alright?"

Song Xing Xing nodded obediently. "If I can't walk, I will ask you to carry me, alright?"

As the award was starting soon, everyone went to get their seat. The MC soon took their place and commencing the Red Entertainment Award. Because she did not want to attract too much attention, Lu Xun had chosen to sit away farther than the stage.

Song Xing Xing looked at the big screen and enjoyed the performance.

This was the first time that Song Xing Xing had attended such an event. To see many famous celebrities gathering in one place was an interesting scene to watch. Fortunately, she was not someone who chase after celebrities. Or else, she might start to scream in excitement.

On the stage, a pair of celebrities were singing a theme song of the popular drama. Last year, this costume drama had won a lot of viewers' hearts and it was expected that they were going to win a lot of awards on this night. 

Song Xing Xing watched the dancers moving around graciously and marveled at their coordination. As she was focusing on the show, someone tapped at her shoulder. Turning around, Song Xing Xing saw that Lu Xun was offering her a piece of chocolate.

"I'm worried that you might be hungry. Why don't you eat this first?"

Song Xing Xing nodded and watched as Lu Xun peeled the wrapping and placed the chocolate into her mouth. A mischievous thought came to her mind. As Lu Xun pushed the piece of chocolate into her mouth, Song Xing Xing deliberately grazed her teeth on his fingers. 

It was barely a touch. But the feeling was tickling him. The numbing feeling spread all through his body.

The corner of her lips tilted up upon noticing his eyes darkened. His throat bobbed and Lu Xu pushed up his glasses as he continued to look at her.

Song Xing Xing quickly turned around and laughed.

In the end, Lu Xun grabbed her hand and pulled her body closer to him. "Xing Xing, you're teasing me on purpose." It seemed that his girlfriend had this habit to bite people.

Song Xing Xing looked at him with a hint of smugness on her face. They were in public. Though everyone was focusing on the performance on stage, there are still a few people who were stealing a few glances at them. Even if she had teased him on purpose, there was nothing that he can do to her, right? 

Lu Xun chuckled helplessly. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pinched her when there was no one else looking.

Instantly, the smile on her face disappeared. Song Xing Xing continued to watch the performance with a serious look on her face. 

At this time, the emcees made a few jokes on stage before they announced the next performance. Surprisingly, it was Huo Yun Chen.

Song Xing Xing could not hide her surprise. She had thought that Huo Yun Chen was still busy with his fan meetings activity. Who would have thought that he would have time to attend this event. 

The light shone brightly at him. Huo Yun Chen picked up his guitar and started to sing his new song.
