You're My Only Star

As Huo Yun Chen was speaking with Assistant Lin, Song Xing Xing took the chance to text her boyfriend to tell him that her meeting had almost been over. A thought came to her mind as she looked up.

"That's right. I saw the comments about you on the internet before. Is everything fine now?"

Huo Yun Chen sighed. "It's fine. With the management and my fans' support, I will get through this. In fact, this was also the reason why my agents wanted me to hold this meeting with the fans."

Song Xing Xing wanted to know about Huo Yun Chen's past accident but did not think that it was appropriate for her to ask.

Assistant Lin came over again and told Huo Yun Chen that the car is ready outside. The assistant then leaned over to whisper something, causing Huo Yun Chen to frown. 

Huo Yun Chen whispered a few instructions to his assistant and watched her walked away. When he looked up, there was a hint of hesitation on his face. 

Looking at the look on his face, Song Xing Xing guessed that Huo Yun Chen might be in trouble again.

"Go ahead if you have to leave," Song Xing Xing said. "I'll be fine  here."

Huo Yun Chen breathed a sigh of relief. Then he looked at Song Xing Xing and asked, "Little Star, how did you get here? Should I send you back?"

"It's fine. Someone will come over and pick me up in a bit."

His lips tilted into a teasing smile. "Your boyfriend?"

Song Xing Xing replied to him with a smile. 

There was a hint of surprise on his face. Huo Yun Chen quickly regained his composure and spoke, "Not too long ago, you told me that you're still single. I really did not expect that you would already be in a relationship. It seemed that I was a little too late."

Song Xing Xing laughed. "Don't joke around. Your fans would kill me if they found out what you said to me."

Huo Yun Chen let out a helpless sigh. This was the first time that he had met someone so afraid of his fans.

Were his fans really that scary? Huo Yun Chen thought that his fans were very nice and obedient. At least, they had never created any problems for him and would support him wholeheartedly in everything he does. Huo Yun Chen knew that if he suddenly announced that he was in a relationship, his fans would continue to support him.

Perhaps, there would be a few who was not too happy. But most of them had been following him since his debut. Their support towards him was very strong.

Huo Yun Chen stood up when his assistant popped into the room again. He looked at Song Xing Xing and said, "Little Star, you have to remember your promise. I booked you first. You can't agree to partner with others."

Song Xing Xing laughed at his words.

With Assistant Lin's urging, Huo Yun Chen had no choice but to leave. A reporter seemed to have found Huo Yun Chen's whereabouts. If he did not leave now, he was afraid that he might scare this girl with his identity again.

It was at this time that Huo Yun Chen wished that he would have a normal identity.

After Huo Yun Chen and his assistant left, it did not take Lu Xun for a long time to arrive. He looked around and saw that his girlfriend was alone. He watched Song Xing Xing slid into the passenger's seat and asked, "Why are you alone?"

There was no other patron at the private restaurant. The thought that Huo Yun Chen had left his girlfriend alone made him unhappy. What if something happened to her? Would Huo Yun Chen want to be responsible?

Fortunately, he had not gone too far to wait for his girlfriend and had come over quickly.

Song Xing Xing looked at her boyfriend and wondered if he would be happy to see her waiting outside the restaurant with Huo Yun Chen instead.

"Huo Yun Chen had to leave early," Song Xing Xing said. "I think he might have run into work trouble. His assistant was urging him to leave early."

Lu Xun naturally did not care much if Huo Yun Chen ran into some trouble. Anyway, he had already prepared a good team for his artists. "Did you have to wait long before I arrived?"

"Not too long. You arrived as soon as Huo Yun Chen left." Song Xing Xing buckled her seat belt and turned to Lu Xun. "What have you been doing after you left?"

Lu Xun turned with a teasing look on his face. "Missing you."

Her heart skipped a beat. Then a warm feeling spread throughout her body, making her embarrassed. It seemed that this man was getting very good at flirting.

"What did you and Huo Yun Chen talked about?"

"Nothing much. Just catching up a little bit about the game." Song Xing Xing lifted the paper bag in his hand. "That's right. He also gave me a few official merchandise from that game we played."

Lu Xun muttered his dissatisfaction in his heart. If he knew that Song Xing Xing liked those merchandise, he too can help her to get those things. She did not have to rely on Huo Yun Chen.

As these thoughts came to his mind, Lu Xun decided that he should learn about Song Xing Xing's ID in that game quickly. Once he befriended her in that game, then perhaps, the two of them could also discuss that game together.

"Have you had your lunch yet?"

"Mmm… Yu Han's flight will depart tonight. I went to see him and had lunch with him and his family."

Song Xing Xing heaved with relief. She was a little worried that Lu Xun would skip his meal and wander off somewhere. After all, his office and the restaurant were not that far.

"I've already talked to Celine. He said that she will be waiting for us to arrive."

The vehicle cruised on the street and finally arrived at Celine's place. 

Knowing that Lu Xun and his girlfriend were going to come and try on the dress, Celine had instructed her assistant to put on the 'close' signboard on their door. 

As soon as they arrived, Celine dragged Song Xing Xing into the changing room and let her put on the dress. Seeing that there were a few places that needed to be altered, Song Xing Xing let Celine take the dress.

"Is it done?" Lu Xun asked when he saw his girlfriend came out of the changing area.

"There are a few things that needed to be mended. It will be done soon," Celine said. "That's right, the event will be next week, right? Why don't you come over and let Xing Xing dress up at my shop? This way, I can help her to adjust the dress if there's anything that needs to be altered. I can arrange someone to help her with her makeup as well."
