You're My Only Star

After having her breakfast with Lu Xun, Song Xing Xing spent some time accompanying him in his study. The two of them stayed alone for a long time until it was almost time for her meeting with Huo Yun Chen. Picking up his keys, Lu Xun could only drive his girlfriend over with an unhappy look on his face.

The feeling of sending his girlfriend to meet another man was really uncomfortable.

Even if he convinced himself that it was only a meeting between friends, Lu Xun was still unable to calm down. He trusted his girlfriend. However, Lu Xun did not trust Huo Yun Chen. Especially after he had caught the glimpse of how that person had looked at his girlfriend. 

Song Xing Xing glanced at her boyfriend and smiled when he saw the look on his face. From the time that she had reminded him about her meeting with Huo Yun Chen, Lu Xun has been unhappy.

As they were approaching the venue closer, the unhappiness on his face was very obvious.

Song Xing Xing did not know whether she wanted to laugh or cry.

The vehicle pulled over as it reached the private restaurant. Lu Xun looked at the surroundings and saw that there was not anyone around. The thought that the two will be spending their time together just the two of them made him very unhappy.

Song Xing Xing leaned over and give him a peck on his cheek. "I'll see you again in an hour, alright?"

Lu Xun pursed his lips into a thin line. "Should I come over with you instead?"

"Let's not scare him. Huo Yun Chen would be frightened to death when he sees his big boss appear."

A sigh escaped him. Lu Xun wished that he would play the game sooner and know his girlfriend's game ID. Then, they can play the game and fight the monsters together.

This way, he would not be jealous of Huo Yun Chen as well.

Seeing that a certain man kept his quiet, Song Xing Xing was at loss at what to do. Recently, her boyfriend was starting to get clingy. He even resorted to some tricks to made her stay with him.

Perhaps because of their age gap, Song Xing Xing had expected that Lu Xun would be someone serious and level-headed. This clingy side of him was a little cute.

"Then, after meeting Celine, let's go on a date, alright?"

His eyes finally lit up. Lu Xun took another breath to calm down. Then, he stretched his hand and touched the top of her head. "Go ahead. I will come over and pick you up later."

Song Xing Xing leaned in again and pecked at his lips. While Lu Xun was still watching her, Song Xing Xing entered the private restaurant to find her celebrity friend. 

When she walked in, Huo Yun Chen's assistant, Lin You was already waiting for her. Assistant Lin heaved a breath of relief upon seeing Song Xing Xing. 

"Miss Song, you're here."

Song Xing Xing flashed a smile at her. "Huo Yun Chen has arrived?"

"Un. We were worried that we might run into some reporters and decided to come over earlier. Miss Song, come on in."

She followed Assistant Lin into a private room and saw that the man was already waiting for her. 

Huo Yun Chen stood up upon hearing the sound of the door. His expression lit up upon seeing the person he was waiting for. Walking around the table, Huo Yun Chen pulled the chair for her to sit down. Turning around, Huo Yun Chen called in the waiter to start serving some food.

"I know that you are worried to be seen by the reporters and my fans. This private restaurant belonged to someone I know. The security isn't that bad and the food is very good," Huo Yun Chen spoke. "I took the advantage to order a few of their recommended dishes. Little Star, I hope you don't mind."

Song Xing Xing shook her head. She was not very picky about and was willing to try new food.

As the waiters walked in and started serving food, the two of them began to talk about Lu Xun's fans' meeting. At this time, Assistant Lin You walked in with a paper bag in her hand.

Assistant Lin passed over the paper bag to Song Xing Xing and said, "Miss Song, this is the official merchandise that the company has prepared. There were several more. Since you're playing this game too, Huo Yun Chen thought that you might love to have some of them."

Song Xing Xing peeked into the bag and saw that a lot of the merchandise had her character on it. Her eyes lit up upon noticing that some of the merchandise was limited edition.

"A while ago, the developer had told me about a new update and feature," Huo Yun Chen said. "Little Star, I'm going to tell you this secret. I know that you are not going to tell another about this news."

Song Xing Xing watched Huo Yun Chen with an inquiring gaze. "What update? Why are you so excited?"

"Next month, they were going to introduce the marriage system. Those who were married will get a new outfit after the ceremony and boost their might."

His question was so sudden and Song Xing Xing was not prepared for it.

She recovered quickly and laughed it off. "I was thinking that you were going to tell me that the company was going to sell the game to another. You're making me worried."

Huo Yun Chen scoffed. "The company was making a lot of money after I signed with them. How can they want to sell the game?"

Song Xing Xing remembered her new online friend who bought Player 99's account just because he wanted to invest his money in the game.

"Little Star, among my friends, you are the one who had the highest friendliness point with me," Huo Yun Chen said. "When the time comes, how about teaming up with me in that game? Little Star, let's become a couple."
