You're My Only Star

Holding the fat cat in her arms, Song Xing Xing began to check on Mr. Fluffball after being separated from him for a few days.

The cat looked back at her and blinked his eyes, showing that he was annoyed with her action. Seeing the way Mr. Fluffball was looking at her, Song Xing Xing kissed the cat's face a few times, making him angry.

"Mr. Fluffball, we haven't seen each other for a few days. Is this how you act towards the person who raises you? When I come home, I'll throw all your favorite cat food away."

The cat was surprised by her sudden declaration and quickly rubbed his head against the girl's hand. Mr. Fluffball then look up and blinked, pretending to look cute.

Although he likes living with his papa, Mr. Fluffball missed his cat trees and his toys at home. Moreover, his papa's home was too organized. He did not have a lot of places where he could climb up and knock things over.

As Mr. Fluffball was trying his best to win Song Xing Xing's heart back, a knock was heard making them both jump in surprise.

Song Xing Xing placed her cat on the bed and walked over to the door. Thinking about the person she was going to see after she opened the door made her anxious.

A breath of relief escaped her once she saw that the person was not Lu Xun.

Auntie Wei flashed an amiable smile at her as she lifted the fresh towel and clean clothes. "Miss Song, President Lu asked me to send this over to you. Miss Song, you don't have to worry. Although this pajama belonged to young miss, it is all new and hasn't been worn before."

"Young miss?"

"It is President Lu's younger sister. Sometimes, she would stay here whenever she came to Capital City."

Song Xing Xing nodded. It was at this time that she realized that she did not know much about Lu Xun's family. And to think that she was dating Lu Xun… 

Seeing that Auntie Wei was still in front of her, Song Xing Xing had an awkward look on her face. "Auntie Wei, you're not going back to your place tonight?"

Previously, Lu Xun had mentioned that Auntie Wei would come over to his place to cook and clean in the morning. Then, she would return to her place in the evening.

Seeing that Auntie Wei was still around made her feel a little more at ease.

"It's late. It will be convenient if I stay here tonight."

A thought came to her mind and Song Xing Xing wondered if Lu Xun had let Auntie Wei stay because she was around as well. This thought made her heart grew warm.

This was the first time that she would be staying at Lu Xun's place. Although they were together, Song Xing Xing was still anxious to stay with Lu Xun alone. 

They had already kissed and it took her a while to get used to it. Song Xing Xing did not know whether she would be ready to move into the next phase with him.

After exchanging a few words with Auntie Wei, Song Xing Xing went into the bathroom to take a shower. When she came out, Mr. Fluffball was already sleeping on the bed. Song Xing Xing was trying to find the hairdryer when her phone beeped, signaling that there was an incoming message.

Picking up her phone, Song Xing Xing saw that it was a message from Huo Yun Chen, asking about their meeting tomorrow.

Huo Yun Chen's popularity has slowly risen after he made a big comeback. He came out with a new album, joined a variety show, dramas and was chosen as the ambassador of a popular game.

With his popularity, it would be hard for her to meet him without getting recognized. Therefore, Huo Yun Chen could only let his assistant arrange things at the last minute lest the others would catch wind about their meeting and cause trouble.

Seeing that Huo Yun Chen had decided on their meeting place, Song Xing Xing quickly agreed.

Someone knocked on the door just as she put her phone down. Song Xing Xing glanced at her sleeping cat before she walked over to the door. Lu Xun was standing in front of her as she opened the door. 

Lu Xun stared at the girl in front of him in surprise. Because Song Xing Xing had just showered, her skin had a beautiful pink blush and moist. The tip of her hair was still a little wet and there was a towel covering her head.

He was not expecting that she had just finished her shower.

Lu Xun let out a dry cough and swiftly avoided his gaze. "I just came over to check on you. Are you feeling comfortable with everything here?"

"Mmm… it's fine." Song Xing Xing lowered her gaze and saw the pajama that she was wearing. "Auntie Wei said that this pajama belonged to your sister. Is it alright if I wear this?"

"It's fine. My sister would not mind it. She had a lot of clothes. She would not notice if one of them is gone," Lu Xun said. "I can always replace a new one for her." 

"You never mentioned anything about your sister."

Lu Xun lowered his gaze to look at her. He stretched his hand and started to help her to dry her hair with the towel. After a while, he turned her around and let her take a seat on the chair.

"My sister, Lu An Ran, is a couple of years younger than me. She continued to stay in C Country after she married her husband," Lu Xun said as he continued to help her dry her hair. "Later, let's pick up a date and visit her in C Country. I'm sure that the two of you will be able to get along fine."

Song Xing Xing thought about the pending trip and smiled happily. Other than in Capital City, it seemed that the two of them had never go anywhere to have a date.

As the thought came to her mind, Song Xing Xing began to make date plan. This was the first time that she had fallen in love and had a boyfriend. Song Xing Xing was expecting to experience a lot of things together with Lu Xun.

The two of them continued to chat with Lu Xun telling Song Xing Xing everything she wanted to know about his family.

Song Xing Xing did not even realize that when was it that she was lying on the bed with Lu Xun next to her. His arms wrapped around her waist, dragging her closer to his chest. After listening to his story for a while, her eyes were drooping and she became drowsy.

No matter how she tried to stay awake, Song Xing Xing was unable to stay up. Sensing the warmth beside her, she could not help but draw closer and snuggled into his arms.

A soft sigh escaped him as Lu Xun was watched the serene expression on her face as she slept.

Seeing how she had fallen asleep easily, Lu Xun began to wonder how much she trusted him. He is a man after all. Shouldn't she be on guard around him? 

Lu Xun lowered his head and pressed his lips on her forehead. After tucking her into bed, he then left the room to let her sleep.
