You're My Only Star

A while after they arrived at Lu Xun's place, Assistant Bei Yuan appeared with a new change of clothes for Zhang Yu Han and his family. 

Lu Xun handed the bag of clothes to his friend and let him occupied a guest room to rest. As he turned around, Lu Xun found that his girlfriend was sitting on the sofa with her phone in her hand. Glancing at the phone screen, Lu Xun could see that she was playing 'Legend of the Sky'.

Just as he was about to peek at her ID name again, Song Xing Xing had already put down her phone.

Seeing that the man had suddenly appeared behind her, Song Xing Xing blinked her eyes a few times. "Why are sneaking out on me?"

Lu Xun let out a cough and composed himself. "What are you doing?"

"Playing games."

Seeing that she was avoiding her gaze, Lu Xun immediately noticed that something was a little wrong. "Are you alright?"

"I'm a little unhappy." Song Xing Xing pouted. "I don't like that your ex-girlfriend kept on pestering you."

Lu Xun was a little surprised by his words. Earlier, Song Xing Xing had not said a word after he had mentioned his encounter with Shi An Na. He had thought that the girl had stopped thinking about this matter. Lu Xun was not expecting that Song Xing Xing would suddenly mention her again.

Moreover… that expression on her face… Lu Xun wondered if his girlfriend was jealous. As he thought about it, Lu Xun was a little happy and helpless at the same time.

"Nothing happened. I swear… I left after saying a few words to her. Next time, I will try my best to avoid her."

"I know. I trust you. But I am still a little unhappy." The feeling just came and she cannot make it go away just like that.

Lu Xun held her hand and rubbed his thumb on her hand. He wanted to pull her into his arms but he had not taken a shower and was afraid that the girl would hate his smell. "Yu Han and the others have gone to their room. Xing Xing, do you want to stay here or come with me? You can wait for me upstairs."

Song Xing Xing stared at the man for a long time. Didn't he say that he was going to take a shower? Why was he asking her to come along with him? Is this person is trying to trick her?

Of course, Song Xing Xing did not expect that she was thinking too much. 

Lu Xun only wanted to invite her to go upstairs and look at her cat who refused to leave his room.

"I'll stay here. Auntie Wei is cooking for a few people. I should go and help her." Song Xing Xing stood up and pushed him aside. "Go and take your shower first." 

"Alright. Wait here for me." Lu Xun laughed before he turned around and headed upstairs to his room.

Seeing that the man kept turning around to send her flirtatious glance, Song Xing Xing ran away and headed to the kitchen to help Auntie Wei to prepare some dishes.

As she has long admired Auntie Wei's cooking, Song Xing Xing decided to take this time to learn a few cooking tricks from her. As Auntie Wei was setting up the table, Song Xing Xing stayed in the kitchen to wash some vegetables.

Sensing that the atmosphere around her was a little strange, Song Xing Xing turned around and yelped when she saw that Lu Xun was standing behind her. The moment she saw him, Lu Xun wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him.

Song Xing Xing took a deep breath when she finally saw the man. "You scared me. I thought that you were a ghost!" Hearing that Lu Xun was still laughing, Song Xing Xing pouted and started to hit his chest. "You still laugh!"

"Sorry." Lu Xun pulled away and looked at the person in his arms. "I did not think that you would be this scared."

"After the last time I saw that thing in the studio, I can't stop thinking about it," Song Xing Xing said. "I got easily scared."

His expression softened. Lu Xun hugged the girl tighter and continued to apologize. "I won't do it again."

Song Xing Xing rested her head on his chest and took a deep breath. The scent of his shower gel filled her nose, making her a little dizzy. Thinking that there were a few guests in the house, Song Xing Xing quickly pulled away.

"Stop playing around. Go and wait in the living room. I still need to help Auntie Wei to prepare a meal."

This... why does it feel as if she was acting like the hostess of the house?

As he heard her words, Lu Xun tightened his grip around her waist, refusing to let it go. His gaze lowered, allowing them to look into each other's eyes.

Under his smoldering gaze, Song Xing Xing felt her throat dried and her body grew warm. 

Slowly, he leaned in to give her a soft kiss. Her hand moved to rest at his chest, gripping the shirt tightly, to prevent him from moving back. A soft hum escaped her as she allowed her body to draw closer to him.

It was at this time that they heard a noise coming from upstairs.

The two of them quickly recognized that it was Zhang Li Xue's voice. The little girl was running around the house in excitement. 

Song Xing Xing quickly readjusted her clothing before she went out. Her eyes widened in surprise when she saw that the little girl was playing with Mr. Fluffball.

It was at this time that she remember her cat was staying with Lu Xun. 

The fat cat was running around the place as Zhang Li Xue chasing him around. Once she saw Song Xing Xing, Mr. Fluffball quickly ran over to his master to hide.

Song Xing Xing picked up her cat in her arms and let the little girl play with him. Mr. Fluffball swiped his long tail impatiently. However, he did not make any move and stayed in Song Xing Xing's arms.

Zhang Yu Han saw this scene and raised a brow at his friend. "I didn't think that you really have a pet cat in your house."

Lu Xun laughed at his words. 

Auntie Wei quickly prepared the food and the group ate their food happily. 

Seeing that the day was late, Zhang Yu Han called his assistant, Xiao Ye to pick him up at Lu Xun's place.

Song Xing Xing looked at the man beside her and suddenly felt a little uneasy upon seeing the smile on his face.

"It's getting late. Xing Xing, how about staying here for the night?" Lu Xun suggested. "I'll send you back to your place tomorrow, alright?"

Her heartbeat accelerated.

"You can stay in the guest room with Mr. Fluffball," Lu Xun continued.
