You're My Only Star

"Celine contacted me this morning. She said that you need to head to her place for fitting," Lu Xun said. He glanced at the girl beside him before he concentrated on his driving once again.

Song Xing Xing nodded and stopped suddenly as she recalled that she had made an appointment with someone else. "When are we meeting her? Can we go somewhere after lunch?"

Lu Xun raised his brow. "Do you have a plan?"

"Un." Song Xing Xing nodded. "I'm going to meet Huo Yun Chen this weekend."

Lu Xun halted when he heard her words. His grip around the steering wheel tightened. He had thought that perhaps, he had misheard her words. Lu Xun glanced at the girl beside him and knew that she was not fooling around.

"Why are you meeting him?"

"He said that he had something to give me before he went to attend some events."

Lu Xun seemed to recall that someone had reported that their top artist, Huo Yun Chen was holding a fan tour in a few major cities in a week.

Seeing that the man stayed silent, Song Xing Xing leaned forward and stared at his face for a long time. A faint smile curled on her lips as she wondered what was going on through the man's mind.

It took him a long time before Lu Xun answered. "Alright. I'll tell Celine that we'll be going to her place after lunch."

The smile on her lips widened. "Thank you."

Although she could sense that Lu Xun was a little unhappy, Song Xing Xing was glad that he trusted her.

"I'll send you the location and you can come over and pick me up later, alright?" 

As he heard her suggestion, the dark look on his face gradually disappeared. 

These days, the guards at the studio have gotten used to seeing their President's Maserati entering the place in the morning. Although they were a little curious as to why President Lu Xun stopped at the studio for less than five minutes, they did not dare to ask or spread the news around.

There were a lot of famous people and celebrities coming and going to the studio. As the guards, they know well that there were matters that they could not speak.

Lu Xun pulled over at the spot where he usually dropped his girlfriend. He watched as Song Xing Xing gathered her bags and turned around to alighted. Just in time, Song Xing Xing turned around to look at him. The corner of his lips tilted up upon noticing the mischievous glint in her eyes.

Song Xing Xing leaned forward and was ready to give him a peck on the cheek. However, she soon realized that she did not reach the target. Instead of kissing him on the cheek. Her lips landed on his lips instead. 

Shocked with the outcome, Song Xing Xing quickly retreat and stared at the man.

Last time, she had played a trick and run away.

Song Xing Xing had thought that Lu Xun had forgotten about it considering he had not made any move. But it seemed that she had thought wrong.

Someone was prepared for her to do the same tricks again and had come up with another idea.

While she was still in a trance, Lu Xun had already leaned forward to kiss her on the lips again. This time, his kisses were not as gentle as the past. 

As if he was venting his frustration that his girlfriend was planning to meet another man during the weekend, Lu Xun pressed his lips against her hard. His teeth were biting at her lips softly, tasting its sweetness. It was not until Song Xing Xing was panting heavily in his arms that Lu Xun pulled away.

His eyes darted at her slightly swollen lips. He found that his girlfriend looked a little alluring this way. Lu Xun leaned over and pecked at her lips one last time. "Alright. I'll  come over and pick you up later."

Song Xing Xing moved her lips to speak and found that it was slightly hurting. She narrowed her eyes furiously and grabbed his hand. 

A gasp escaped him upon realizing that his girlfriend was biting at his hand. After a few seconds, the initial pain faded and another wave of emotion surrounded him. 

"Song Xing Xing." His voice sounded a little hoarse and his eyes turned a little darker.

Song Xing Xing quickly pulled away. She studied the marks on his hand and flashed him a proud smile. "A bite for a bite."

Her heartbeat accelerated as her eyes met his darkened gaze. It was at this time that she seemed to realize that she should not provoke this person carelessly.

Not wanting to get herself into another trouble, Song Xing Xing quickly alighted from his car. 

"I'm going now." Song Xing Xing shut the door and ran over to the side entrance. Once she was sure that she was at a safer distance, Song Xing Xing flashed him a meek smile, waved her hand, and left.

After sending his girlfriend to the studio, Lu Xun left and headed over to the hotel to find his friend.

While waiting for Zhang Yu Han to come out, Lu Xun stayed in the coffee house and browsed through the emails that his assistant had forwarded to him.

He did not have to wait for a long time before Zhang Yu Han appeared and slid into the seat across from him. A server came and he ordered a cup of coffee.

Zhang Yu Han opened his mouth to speak and stopped himself as he saw the obvious mark on his friend's hand. "What's wrong with your hand?"

Lu Xun raised his hand to study the bite mark. "A wild kitten bit me earlier." His expression was full of doting.

His brow shot up. Zhang Yu Han was very sure that Lu Xun had not kept a pet around him. Moreover, this bite mark clearly belonged to a person. It does not look like it belonged to a kitten at all.

He was about to say something when he realized that he had kept a cat in his house as well. However, his cat was very obedient and did not know how to bite people. 

Heat crept up to his ears and Zhang Yu Han lowered his head. After his wife gave birth to their child, Zhang Yu Han had never seen this cat again. Suddenly, Zhang Yu Han found that he was missing this cat.

The server returned with a cup of hot coffee for him.

"You two sure know how to have fun," Zhang Yu Han commented. He took a sip at his coffee and flashed a teasing smile. "Dating a younger person really has its perk."
