You're My Only Star

As they were discussing a few business matters, Li Qin Yao finally came down with her two kids to join them for breakfast. The moment he saw his wife, Zhang Yu Han stood up to grab a few breakfast items that his wife and kids would like to eat.

Little Zhang Li Xue looked at Lu Xun and frowned when she did not see the other person. "Uncle Lu Xun, did Auntie Xing Xing did not come along with you?"

"Auntie Xing Xing still has worked. She cannot come over and join us this time."

The little girl could not hide her disappointment and sighed. "I was thinking about asking Auntie Xing Xing to accompany me playing basketball later."

The corner of her lips twitched. "Don't you still have me?"

Zhang Li Xue's eyes lit up. "Uncle Lu Xun, you've said it. Later, you have to accompany me and play basketball, alright?"

Looking at the little girl's face, Lu Xun suddenly had this thought as if he was tricked. 

Such a cheeky girl.

Lu Xun could not help but to pinch her on the chubby cheek a few times.

After their breakfast, Lu Xun sent Li Qin Yao and her kids to Song Yi's place before they went away to visit a few companies under NEXT Group. Although Zhang Yu Han was mostly managing their hotel empire under Zhang Group Worldwide, he had invested in a few projects with Lu Xun.

Since he had visited Capital City, Zhang Yu Han decided to look at their project in Capital City as well.

The two went to visit the development project in Capital City. 

When Lu Xun first decided to move to Capital City, this development project was among his first project in Capital City. With the help of his friend like Zhang Yu Han, the project was doing well and had grown so much.

It was lunch hour and the manager invited the two of them to have lunch at one of the well-known restaurants in Capital City.

Zhang Yu Han's phone started to ring as they arrived at the restaurant. Seeing that it was a call from his wife, Zhang Yu Han quickly excused himself to pick up the phone.

His little daughter was missing him and wanted to know whether he would come back to join her for lunch.

After exchanging a few words with his daughter, Zhang Yu Han hung up the phone and went to look for the private room where the manager had booked.

His steps halted the moment he saw the scene in front of him. 

Not far away from where he was standing, Lu Xun seemed to be talking to a woman.

His eyes narrowed the moment Zhang Yu Han recognized that person as Shi An Na.

He really did not expect that he would see this woman here. A thought came to his mind and he started to wonder if Shi An Na has been stalking his friend.

Zhang Yu Han stood behind the wall and eavesdrop on their conversation.

Shi An Na lowered her gaze and peeked at Lu Xun with an awkward smile. Seeing that the man was about to leave, Shi An Na tugged at Lu Xun's sleeve and tried to stop him. "Lu Xun. I'm sorry. The last time, it was an accident. I did not mean to push your girlfriend away."

"I told you many times that I did not wish to see you. Shi An Na, did you not understand human languages?" Lu Xun spoke angrily. "Don't show up in front of me. Even if you see me on the street, don't come over and talk to me. Is that so hard for you to do?"

Shi An Na's face paled but she quickly gained her composure. "I know that I've wronged you in the past. But Lu Xun, do you have to be so cruel? I know that you still love me."

Lu Xun's expression turned darker. "You're delusional."

"Wasn't that's the reason you did not date anyone after we broke up? Lu Xun, you have only started to date that girl after you heard the news that I am coming to Capital City, right? Don't deny it. You only wanted to win me back by making me jealous."

His hand clenched into a fist and Lu Xun swatted her hands away from him. At this time, Lu Xun had the urge to punch the woman on her face. But considering that the other party is a girl, Lu Xun could only suppress his emotion. "You are crazy! I swear to God, Anna… If you continue to pester me like this, I won't be polite to you. My patience has its limit!"

Zhang Yu Han waited until Lu Xun's figure could no longer be seen before he came out of his hiding place.

The moment Shi An Na saw him, she could not hide her surprise. Shi An Na took a few steps back in fear for this man.

Even when she was still dating Lu Xun, Shi An Na was a little afraid of Zhang Yu Han. Compared to the others, Zhang Yu Han was a little more unapproachable.

"Anna, I told you before that you should stop pestering Lu Xun. Did you not hear my warning?" Zhang Yu Han spoke as he approached her. 

Shi An Na gritted her teeth and gathered her courage. "Now that he has been this successful, he wanted to push me away?"

"Let's not forget that the person who chose to leave him was you. Even if Lu Xun wanted to return to you, I will advise him not to do so." Zhang Yu Han gave her a look over and sneered. "You think Lu Xun has become this successful because of you? Do you think that he only gets to where he is now because of that money you throw at him? Shi An Na, you really are an idiot. I'm telling you that even if you did not give him that money, Lu Xun would get to where he is now due to his hard work. It has nothing to do with you."

Did Shi An Na think he was dead? Even if Lu Xun had nothing on him, he still have him as his brother. 

Zhang Yu Han had known Lu Xun for years and believed in his vision. Even if Lu Xun had no money, Zhang Yu Han would not hesitate to invest his money to help Lu Xun in his business.

Shi An Na watched as Zhang Yu Han retreated with her reddened eyes. Although she still had a lot to say, Shi An Na did not dare to say a word to retort. Her hand tightened at the hem of her blouse. Shi An Na refused to believe that Lu Xun would not soften his heart towards her.

It seemed that she will need to think of another plan to win the man's heart.
