You're My Only Star

After dinner ended, Zhang Yu Han and his family returned to their suite. Meanwhile, Lu Xun drove to send Song Xing Xing back to her apartment.

"Did I do alright?"

Lu Xun glanced at his girlfriend and chuckled. "Of course. Were you worried?"

"Un. After all, you are very close to Zhang Yu Han." She watched as he focused on his driving and spoke, "I'm guessing that you should value his opinion a lot. Of course, I'm worried about his opinion on me."

"What are you thinking about? The two of you had known each other for a while. You should know that Zhang Yu Han had a good opinion of you."

"That's different. Back then, he only thinks of me as Song Yi's cousin. Now, I am your girlfriend. He should have a different opinion on me, right?"

The smile on his face widened. Lu Xun seemed to think that her words seemed very pleasing for him to hear. "Don't worry too much. His opinion towards you would not change. In the end, the person you're dating is me. Whether you're a good girlfriend or not, it is me who knows best."

Song Xing Xing put both hands on her cheeks and leaned forward. "Then, Mr. Lu Xun, what do you think of me as your girlfriend?"

"My girlfriend is naturally a very good girl. She's cute and bubbly. I think we are very compatible." Lu Xun stretched his hand to pat her head. "And I like her very much."

Song Xing Xing stared at his face for a while and thought that Lu Xun's expression seemed very bright. The corner of his lips tilted up slightly into a soft smile ever since they both left the hotel.  If she looked closely, she could see the hint of pride on his face as well.

She could tell that this man was very happy that he get to introduce her as his girlfriend to his best friend.

This man could be this happy just for this reason. Song Xing Xing thought that Lu Xun is indeed very cute. She really wanted to pinch him on the cheek.

The vehicle stopped as they had reached her apartment. 

As it was already very late, Lu Xun did not try to stay longer at her place. He had made sure that she had safely entered her apartment, and left after they shared a kiss.

Song Xing Xing came out of the bathroom and sat in front of the mirror to do the usual night's skincare routine. Her phone at the side vibrated and Song Xing Xing saw Lu Xun's message that he had arrived home. The two chatted for a few minutes. Then, she texted him goodnight and slid under the cover to sleep. 

However, after rolling around for a bit, Song Xing Xing could not fall asleep.

Her mood was still high and she was still feeling excited after being introduced as Lu Xun's girlfriend.

Song Xing Xing thought that Lu Xun's good mood was very infectious. Seeing that Lu Xun was very happy, she became very happy as well.

After a while, Song Xing Xing took out her phone and decided to login into the game.  It was late, but it seemed that there were a lot of players online. As it has passed the reset time, there are a lot of players who go online to clear their daily missions.

Song Xing Xing collected the daily materials and treasure she could obtain daily and went to her farm to gather her crops. These days, her farm had leveled up and she could make a lot of high-level food that could increase her stats and help her during a fight.

Then, she went to the city center and stood in front of the board to look at the mission. Coincidentally, she met General Huo as well.

Song Xing Xing clicked at his name and greeted him in a private message. The man replied to her in a few seconds.

General Huo: Little Star, why are you not sleeping?

Not Your Little Star: I can't sleep. I might as well deal with my daily quest first.

General Huo: You are aware that going online and play with your phone will not help you to fall asleep, right?

Not Your Little Star: Alright. I know. I'll listen to your advice. I'll log off and go to sleep now.

General Huo: Little Star, wait!

Not Your Little Star: What's wrong? 

General Huo: Since you're already online, how about helping me with a quest. Coincidentally, I need a good healer.

Not Your Little Star: Which quest?

General Huo: Madam Teresa needed me to collect some snake venom.

Song Xing Xing bragged that she had completed this quest a few days ago before she agreed to help him. 

After joining his team, Song Xing Xing followed Huo Yun Chen to enter the woods. While he was killing the big boss, Song Xing Xing stood at the side to ensure that his health point and spell point were full. 

Fortunately, she had made some food on her farm and could use them to help Huo Yun Chen as well.

After fighting for a while, the big boss died and they both got the reward from this fight. Song Xing Xing looked at the rare materials she received and was happy that she decided to join him on this mission.

General Huo: Little Star, I'm going to start to get busy again in a few weeks.

Not Your Little Star: Are you going to tell me that you're not going to join the team event again?

General Huo: Don't worry. I'll join them if I can. Just that, my manager had arranged for me to attend an event in a few cities in a few days.

Song Xing Xing recalled that Huo Yun Chen had come out with a new album not too long ago.

Not Your Little Star: You're going on a tour?

General Huo: Not exactly. Just a few meetings with the fans. Little Star, before I leave, let's meet up, alright?

Not Your Little Star: You want to meet me?

General Huo: Hmm… I have something that I wanted to give you. It's something that the official merchandise that game company had given to me. Since you're a fan of this game, I thought that I should share them with you as well. You don't have to be anxious. My assistant will be with us.

Initially, Song Xing Xing was about to reject his invitation. However, since he had said that his assistant will be with them as well, Song Xing Xing quickly agreed.
