When I growup

Chapter 5:dinner with eldest brother

8 years~

"Good morning class!"

""" Good morning lecturer Kai!""

Lazily, I stood, I felt as if I wanted to sleep once more, I stifled a yawn. Small pearl white tears being squeezed in the process from my feline-like eyes.

"Have a seat class," the students did as bidded and sat, immediately I leaned on my hand lazily and zoned out.

Sigh, you would think that after two years our class would change, but alas..same place.

My eyes narrowed, looking at the red peach blossom tree, well this view is still a beautiful sight to behold so there are no issues. Around me, trivial chatter was ongoing, I didn't care, when we needed to start writing then I would take out the required paper and ink to start but instead, he simply spoke about things that did not interest me.

"Student Jah!"

"En, when I grow up I want to rule the wor--I want to be a personal trainer!"

In fact, I was not that healthy back then before I had been adopted, now I wanted to become a personal trainer and maybe rule the world.

Blinking lazily I looked up at the teacher feeling his weird gaze on my form.

Ay~

This teacher I hope his taste is not heavy! I might have an old soul but this body is youthful! "Student Jah please be careful with your speech, we are an empire. Even though the emperor family are quite hands-off, you should learn from young your limits," obediently I nodded.

It's true you never mess with a ruler and his empire. Me making such a declaration was extremely foolish.

Sigh.

I must consider.

This is a new life though, I had ruled back then with my husband and friends the financial market until I had passed everything to my offspring but that was an experience.

This is a new world, we have emperors, kings, overlords and each country had their respective species!

I want to try when I grow up to simply rule the world.

What seemed much more exciting as well...having a true harem of men.

Not having friends and one husband...I want them all.

"As long as you understand, student Jah,"

With those words, he returned to the front of the class while I continued to stare at that red peach blossom tree.

Ah, my eldest sister is so awesome to me, she had planted a field of these red peach blossom trees for me.

Sigh.

I will never get tired of looking at it while thinking.

After school, my eldest brother picked me up in his stretch hover vehicle.

"Will you be having dinner with eldest brother today or will you join the other siblings in the mansion?"

Opposite me sat the eldest son, my brother Di'amond showed me a rare smile, his eyes rippling with emotion, I sat there my face blank, my eyes simply staring, at the eldest child before opening my mouth slowly and answering his question.

"Eldest brother, I will eat alone with you today. Please choose one that will allow me to dine with my school uniform."

"Yes youngest,"

Our tones are polite, this is something instilled in us as a family. Truthfully this is no different than what I had done to my own children back on earth.

We had fun though and had also learned the words of 'when and where'

Well, the concept here is rather confusing.

Humans have what I would call superpower but they referred to it as innate talent. So I nodded to myself and said inwardly superpower yosh!

Besides the country we lived in being developed, it was not overly so that it affected the environment itself.

One reason is that this world had many different species coexisting within their respective empires or kingdoms.

'Known' in the world are six empires with ours being the weakest and smallest. Twenty kingdoms, four are large, the remainder is small while the overlords ruled small village areas of around a few ten thousand people.

Our vast library in the mansion had many historical texts but it did not mean much to me. Somehow, after being reborn I had all the information from old earth but none from this world.

Sigh, what is the point of knowing about a planet that is long gone compared to the present?

So I studied, reading, recording, noting until my basic understanding is sound.

Well, anyway the body is eight right now, I can worry about those things later. Plans have already been drawn, it is just...

"Littlest, we have arrived,"

The car slid to a halt, my eldest brother turned his thin serious gaze to the door which was slowly opened revealing a grand staircase made from what looked like marble.

Offering a hand I placed my gloved one in his own.

Slowly we took the steps, even though I grew up surrounded by the best, I could not help but admire the grandness of this restaurant and swallow at the thought of eating the tasty food.

"Eldest brother, can I order whatever I wish?"

The older male turned his gaze to me and then nodded, I looked up at him and beamed. "Littlest, what have we told you about smiling in public?" I jolted then erased the smile that had once graced my face. Tears gathered in my eyes but I kept them in.

Why would my innings always seem to be displeased whenever I smile in public seem to claw at my self-esteem. Am I not beautiful?

Did my innings see me as something ugly because I am vastly different to them?

I sniffed, trying my hardest not to cry but felt stifled. My chest ached and my throat burned. It became almost uncontrollable to hold in the tears.

Why?

"Thank you for coming, young master Jah…"

We were flanked by the manager who led the way and four servers dressed stylishly, walking a short distance along the length of a medium corridor we were then led into a private room. Inside I took my seat, in my previous life kneeling on the floor or sitting was a normal thing, but the way how this room was designed was also quite comfortable.
