When I growup

I let eldest brother order the food while I slipped into the bathroom to wash my hands, opting to use the public washroom to see what it looked like in comparison to the private one within the room.

A server led the way, after a generous tip I then asked them to leave allowing the server to know that I now knew the way.

Washing my hands, pausing to look into the mirror I then decided to smile, the image reflecting was a child who, even though she is eight years old looks like a six-year-old. Her hair is half curled with bright blue eyes and Caramel toned skin. She is pretty, from her characteristics you can even tell that her parents are purebloods but her hair, those eyes and the skin...it is another matter.

I had no issue with my skin, I knew all too well that some would scorn me for having 'dirty' skin but others...I turned away and left the bathroom to return, my brother will worry and his worrying...I shuddered thinking of the last time he 'worried' it caused a chain reaction.

Seven elder siblings using private forces for them to find a little girl who had taken one to many wrong turns and ended up crying when she realised she was lost.

Stupid!

It is a pity that I ended up being lost once again and to an extent, I entered the wrong room!

Inside was a boy and several males, not too far was a group of three women simply watching.

The small boy looked around twelve his shirt was torn his face filled with despair as those men tore at his pants.

I walked closer, gaze recognising that boy as a student at my school always gloomy, always alone. His grades were not bad but, he simply stood in the top forty without making much effort to move.

I had always thought he could do better but seeing this now.

I found my body moving, mind you I'm not the type that would not save someone out of the goodness of my heart but I just felt that this boy could be useful in the future or if I turn away now I might drown later in guilt.

And...hehehe, I had not vented since coming to this world.

A while later there was wailing echoing in the room, the sweet cracking of bones and the musical cries of my victims, their river of tears and the low humming of a small girl who moved like a demon.

After, my school uniform still neatly in place I then took the boy from the room and closed the door gently behind me, leaving the beautiful scene behind.

"Student, Zai Angres, are you foolish? Can you not fight?" The boy still had that empty look in his eyes, changing my gloves to a new pair I then grabbed his larger hand and continued walking finally stopping a server who then led us back to our private rooms after I had asked him to buy a suit for the boy beside me, in less than ten minutes a suit arrived. 

"Eldest brother I am-"

"She is missing I tell you! We need to gather the-"

"Eldest brother I have found a pet! Can I keep him?!" I raised my milky voice so my eldest brother can hear, ay, I wish this voice would stop sounding so sickening and mature already! Still, it worked on my eldest brother who said a few terse words before hanging up and turning to me.

It is just, his usually wooden face seems to have a crack as his eyes zeroed in on the small boy at my side and specifically the entwined hands.

"Littlest, you brought back a scavenger, and you are holding it, are you not afraid of becoming sick?"

My mind went blank, did my innings not ask if I wanted a pet before? Why not have a human pet?

I can even add a beautiful leather and diamond-studded collar as well to make it legit. Humans are easier to raise and are much more useful so why is eldest brother showing signs of a breakdown?

"Eldest brother?"

I felt that having such wonderful grandchildren was among the best things that had ever happened to me in my previous life.

It saved my life and that of my new pet.

"Littlest, what eldest brother has said is true, what is besides you can make you sick, you need to be careful that-"

"Brother I have a confession to make, just now I had done something naughty, you see that one time in school when I had been lost this boy had saved me and so I owe him. I entered the wrong private room and had been exposed to something that--eldest brother two males together kissing like mother and fathers-"

"Littlest you wanted a pet, yes? You want this boy as your pet? Eh, you may have! Littlest eldest brother will deal with it, first I will have the guards take you home and your new pet. Eh, I will inform the other siblings…" my brother fired off a barrage of words typing a few things on his wristband. Through the sibling bond, I felt his nervousness, anger which was slowly rising into fury. A moment later it was blocked off, I felt startled a moment before understanding what is happening. Eldest brother simply did not want me to feel his fury. For some reason my emotions are not really felt through the bond but whatever the sibling closest to me felt I did as well.

"Whatever eldest brother commands,"

My brother looked down at my small form with a doting look before gesturing to the door.

"Young master Zah, the food has been prepared and stored," 

"En, pass it to my sister,"

The manager then looked in my direction, then smiled. "Greetings to second young miss Jah, this is the storage band, with the food and drinks,"

"Thank you manager,"

"No problem, no problem second miss Jah,"

Bowing he then, stepped back with the usual smile storing the storage band I then said my goodbye to my eldest brother all the while holding hands with my new pet I then left the private room. Outside stood four bodyguards and how many others that were secretly hidden.

Inside the car I sat on the opposite side of my quiet new pet. His head was down his face blank, our school is an elite school accepting a few minor children who scored well, from what I knew, this boy is a bastard born third child.

Sigh, bastards are never treated well, mm, luckily my parents only had each other in their eyes, when I grow up I will be like my parents setting the perfect example.
