Original Wolf -

Chapter 77 - Fun for one

After Rebekah calmed down, Nevan cleaned her up some, brushing her hair out of her face and drying her eyes.

"There, there, Rebekah my love, don't be sad for him anymore, you know he wasn't the brother you deserved."

Rebekah looked up nodding,- "Speaking of brothers, where is Elijah?"

"I'm not sure, but I do remember smelling him heading north, he's likely with Haley and Hope, you know how he fancied himself her protector."

Rebekah gasped,- "Hope, Oh my gosh, I almost forgot, I hope she'll be okay."

Seeing him Chuckle, Rebekah smacked him,- "What is so funny about this?"

Nevan straightening his face apologizing,- "Sorry, I have a stupid sense of humor, you hoping for Hope, made me laugh, and as for being okay, tell me wouldn't you have been better off without Niklaus in your life?"

Rebekah snorted hearing why he laughed and then flinched when he mentioned her brother again,- "Can you stop please, he's passed on now, I don't want to talk about it anymore so let's drop it, and I did care for him most of my life, so don't be crass with me, I just hope Elijah's taking it well, he always loved Niklaus the most."

He quickly apologized,- "Sorry, it won't happen again, I'm sure he's fine, come on let's leave this bleak place," he said picking her up in a princesses carry, bringing a smile to Rebekah's face.

"I've missed this," said Rebekah resting her head on his c.h.e.s.t before she realized he was still nude for some reason,- "Nevan, where are your clothes?"

"Oh yeah, about that..." He then started to explain what happened, receiving another smack for using a crazy amount of power that ended up harming himself. Talking slower and slower as he sees her face brighten, regretting the words as they leave his mouth,- "...And so my magical clothes were destroyed."

Rebekah grinning- "You know what that means right?"

He g.r.o.a.n.e.d- "Don't say it."

She then said with stars in her eyes, the words he dreaded most,- "Let's go shopping!"

"And you said it," he sighed dropping her causing her to yelp in surprise as he walked away leaving her.

"I can't believe you dropped me!" She exclaimed.

Catching up she continues,- "You know you're going to need clothes, you can't just walk around n.a.k.e.d."

"Nope, I've decided I'll just stay a wolf from now on, no more worry about clothes or having people stare at you just because you walk around nude," he said shifting into a wolf.

"Is it really that bad shopping with me?" She asked.

Looking back he gives her a wolf face before zooming away.

Rebekah's mouth opened seeing him ditch her,- "It can't be that bad," she mumbled to herself,- "Nevan, what's with that look? Stop being so dramatic and get back here!" She yelled before shifting into a wolf to pursue him.

"Rebekah, please tell me why you need all these clothes when you have a magical set that can turn into anyone of them, please, please, enlighten me," he said trying to contain his annoyance.

Putting another dress on the pile while humming, she answers,- "Of course I do, it's not only nice to wear great clothes but also nice to see them, plus what will I say if I invite guests over to our home and there are no clothes in the closet, what will I tell my lady friends."

Taking a deep breath he calmly asks,- "We don't even have a house, what closet are you even talking about, what home?"

Rebekah gives him a look,- "We can easily solve that don't you think."

"Well, yes, but what will we do with all these in the meantime? You don't honestly expect me to carry them around everywhere do you?"

Staring out the window she watched a beautiful red Ferrari pull up,- "Oh I can think of something, wait here," she said heading out to the couple that just arrived.

Nevan sighed seeing the metal deathtrap she was going to have them ride in, he was never a fan of cars, and why would you be if you can move faster and do so much more with your very own body.

Going towards the exit the store clerk called out to him,- "Sir, are you going to pay for that?" She asked with her hand underneath the desk, ready to click the silent alarm.

He could only sigh again as he waited for Rebekah to come back,- "My wife has the money, she'll be back shortly," he said taking a seat to show he wasn't going to leave, allowing the store clerk to relax.

Rebekah soon returned with the keys to their new car,- "What are you doing? Let's go."

Hearing the store clerk clearing her voice to remind him, he tells Rebekah- "Honey please pay the kind lady for the clothes first, I assume you have enough money for all this."

Rolling her eyes at him she heads over to the register and charges everything on one of her many cards linked to banks filled with cash reserves for her to use as she sees fit,- "Men am I right, even when you pay for them they still give you attitude," she playfully said to the lady, giggling when her eyes widened at the implications.

Nevan could feel her stare in the back of his head upon leaving,- "Did you really have to say that?"

Rebekah laughed,- "No, but it was fun, put all that in the back and let's hit the road! I can't wait to take this baby for a spin."

He had a bad feeling about this as he watched her take the wheel,- "Um, just don't do anything too crazy, I don't want to get car sick, that's a thing right?"

Rebekah grinned,- "Trust me my love... We can't get car sick." She said hitting the gas.
