Original Wolf -

Events surrounding Niklaus Death.

With his death came the death of everyone sired to him, first felt in Mystic Falls where Bonnie Bennett witnessed the deaths of all her friends including Elena who happened to a vampire at the time. Alone and broken, she soullessly looked for a way to bring them back until Jeremy showed back up after receiving the news from Alaric, intending to stop Bonnie from doing something crazy like in the past. Through their grief, they got back together with Jeremy keeping her safe while she kept him grounded after realizing he still felt the need to hunt.

To the north, Hayley fell to her knees and hand with the other holding Hope who burst into tears.

Jackson noticing dropped Elijah and came to her aide,- "Hayley!? What's wrong?"

Hayley putting hope down fell to the side into Jackson's arms as she felt a sharp pain shoot through her.

Jackson worried, held her through it,- "Hayley, Hayley, What's happening?"

His small pack watched on with concern from the sides.

Moments later she recovered looking up into Jackson's worried face, before pushing away to answer the calls of her baby.

Picking Hope back up she started to rock her,- "Shh, shh, it's alright, everything will be okay."

Jackson- "Can you tell me what just happened? Are you okay?"

Hayley- "It's Niklaus, I think he's dead."

Jackson stunned by the news didn't know what to say,-- "Are you sure?"

Hayley- "Yeah, I felt my vampire side die, good thing I'm also a werewolf, I'll have to thank Nevan when we see him again, he might have helped me through it, I don't think a normal Hybr..." She paused as what she was saying hit her... "Oh no Tyler, he likely didn't make it."

Hearing Hope still crying she snapped out of it and began rocking again,- "Shh, Mommy is still here, and I won't ever leave you."

Hope being a newborn wasn't sired in the magical/traditional sense and so was not affected by Niklaus's death. Still a tribrid through and through, her vampire side locked away until she dies for the first time.

With the destruction of New Orleans so too ended Kol and Davina that were still hiding in the church for everything to blow over.

Aya arrived back at the monastery when everything went down, she immediately went to find Tristen to tell him the news.

Catching up to him on his way to speak with his sister, she informed him of what happened.

Tristen- "Is that so? I guess that ends some of our troubles."

Aya apologizes- "I'm sorry sir, I don't know how we didn't see this coming, maybe I should've stayed."

Tristen- "No, you might have gotten caught up in whatever mess happened, plus we have the witches watching out for Elijah's safety, not Niklaus, so the two were unrelated... But with Originals dropping like flies, we should speed things along and send everyone over now, see to it."

Aya bowed- "Yes sir, it will be done."

"Anything else?" He asked seeing her still waiting.

Aya- "I was just wondering what you plan to do about your sister? Are we still going to look for Rebekah? I hear she has a dangerous new ally that even Niklaus feared."

Tristen- "I'll take care of my sister, and as for this new ally, I think we both know the Originals weren't so Original now don't we, make sure to keep everything quiet and silence any potential leaks, it won't do good to have them figure out our weakness after we worked so hard to show them our strength."

Aya bowed her head,- "Understood," she said before spinning around to take care of everything.

Tristen walked in seeing Aurora practicing her sword as he took one from off the wall and engaged her in a bit of spar.- "Hello sister, how are you?" He asked striking her sword.

Aurora strikes back,- "Wonderful now that you're here," she said with a smile.

Tristen- "And the dead monk? Did you really have to kill him?" He asked expressing his dissatisfaction with her lack of control.

Aurora played coy- "I was just a bit angry when I got your letter, but I'm getting better every day, I think it's time you let me out."

Tristen put his sword down shaking his head,- "I wish I could, but you're still having trouble controlling yourself, I'll have to tell the monks to increase your dosage while I'm away."

Aurora's eyes widened,- "What! You're leaving me again!?" She vamp rushed towards him angrily only for Tristen to vamp around, sidestepping and then grappling her from behind where he dosed her with a syringe to knock her out.

Tristen- "It's for the best, I don't want you losing control outside, I promise I'll be back before you know it."

"Please don't leave me." she drowsily said as she passed out.

Tristen turned to the monks who entered- "Up her dosage and keep an eye on her while I'm away and I don't need to remind you to watch your borders for those who are not us."

The monks who have all been compelled, complied without issue.

Tristen took one last look at his sister before he headed out thinking it wouldn't do her any good to know about Niklaus yet.

Nevan found Rebekah waiting on the outskirts as she broke into a smile upon seeing him which only made him sigh knowing he would have to break the news.

Embracing each other she checked out his new look,- "It's different isn't it?" She asked circling him before grabbing his tail which made him jump a little,- "You have a tail now, oh, is it s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e?" She asked with a grin.

Swatted her hand away, he turned to face her,- "Rebekah..."

He started to speak before she cut him off with another hug,- "I was so worried, especially when the blast happened and the city disappeared, I thought I lost you if it wasn't for the connection we have, but it fluctuated for a second and my heart dropped thinking the worst," she said burying her head into his c.h.e.s.t.

Feeling guilty he stroked her head,- "Everything is alright, I won't die so easily... But there is something I need to tell you."

Rebekah looked up with slightly red eyes from thinking about the worst.

Feeling her love he smiled as he brushed hair away from her face before leaning down to kiss her.

Rebekah- "Mn, that was nice, so what did you want to tell me?"

Nevan face went stoic as he tried to think of a way to break it.

Sensing something up, Rebekah brows furrowed,- "What's wrong?"

Nevan- "I know many things happened and you may have conflicting feelings, but I need you to brace yourself all the same and think of the baby, and our family, us..."

Rebekah interrupting him,- "You're beginning to scare me, what's going on?"

Grabbing her hands, he looked her in the eyes,- "Niklaus didn't make it."

Rebekah stunned didn't know how to react at first,- "Niklaus, my brother? Is gone?"

Nevan- "Dahlia got her hands on the white oak stake and used it on him."

Rebekah almost couldn't believe it, her brother of a thousand years, gone just like that. She honestly didn't know what to feel, happy or sad, angry or relieved, but the tears came all the same as they began to fall. Someone she was with for so long and experienced so much together was now gone from her life.

Nevan embraced her as she let it out her final tears for Niklaus, her brother who she loved and hated, who was with her for a millennium, it was finally over.
