One Piece: The Eldest Brother

"Hua, Hua, Hua, Hua...!"

As that beast was rushing toward the duo like an excited dog, Edam slowly stepped forward to stand in front of Stella eyeing the Vulcan with his cold and pale-yellow pair of eyes.

Watching the fast approaching Vulcan, Edam took a moment to observed the beast's every movements, scrutinizing his stance, his height, his speed, as he then too rushed forward with one powerfull stamp on the ground.

Crack! Swish...! With a significant speed he literally appeared in an instant in front of it with his right hand clenched tightly into a fist at the base of his waist ready to strike with the intent to crushed the beast's stomach into a pulp.

That intent was really oppressing and murderous too and not only that, Edam's entire right arm too seemed to shine and glow with a bloodthirsty red color envelopping his arm completely, akin to a smoky gauntlet or so.

Shooo...!

This quick-move didn't failed to stunned the Vulcan who surprisingly at near the same time backed off far behind with a great leap out of instinct it seems.

When it landed on the ground, that beast now finally looked at Edam properly this time around, observing him with a keen eye while growling a bit and making some weird sounds.

It now didn't have these perverted eyes anymore, instead a wary one was plastered on it.

It seem to understand that if he didn't got rid of that small human male facing him, he wouldn't be able to take that woman's away for him to enjoy.

Looking back at the beast too Edam said calmly.

"A pity..." He had wanted to kill it right away to not lose time and to not get too dirty but the beast had reacted a lot quicker than he thought it would. He had to admit that the Vulcan race was really agile despite its huge frame.

"Sigh... I have a lot of things to work on, it seems..." Edam said as he reflected on his own failure without giving a care to that beast in front of him.

"Do you need help perhaps ?" Stella's gentle and sweet voice's rang out as she asked Edam.

"Nope I'm fine, sorry Sis it will be a bit longer it seems." Edam replied without turning back facing the beast.

"Humm..." She nodded slightly as she stroke Black Snow head gently and looked at the fight ongoing with a calm gaze seemingly having no worry for Edam or just no intentions to interfere in this fight whatsoever. And that was for the simple reasons that...

Firstly, there was nothing to worry about as Edam was strong.

Secondly, Edam himself wouldn't wanted her to intervened in this.

And thirdly... well she could lend a help at any moment.

Anyway as the two finished their talk, the beast in front seemed to react as his two damnable eyes wandered about on Stella's curvaceous body, greedily looking at it and then glanced back at Edam once again for a moment as it then pounced forward once again.

Meanwhile Edam didn't moved at all this time and just kept observing it.

It suddenly struck his two hands toward the ground digging its finger deep in it and and then abruptly lifted it up in the air creating a giant dusty veil hidding everythings in the surrounding area.

And while the area was completely covered in dust, the sound of rumble and cracking echoed out in front of Edam as a huge rock was seen being projected up in the air sweeping the dust away and rushing right toward Edam with a relatively fast speed to crush him.

But Edam did the exact same thing than the Vulcan and just leap backward to dodge the rock which fell heavily on the ground, landing a few meters away.

Crack! Rumble!

Edam who was completely deprived of his sense of sight however didn't blink an eye at that, as a fact he even closed his eyes to pushed his bestial senses to the limits. He could still hear the heartbeats of Stella accelerating slightly out of worry just behind him and the powerful heartbeats of the vulcan accelerating out of excitement just in front of him. In fact he even had the impression that every time the beast's heart would beat, he would see the outlines of it's enormous body formed in his mind.

Anyway he could still "see" and had to admit that it was indeed a surprising move, coming from such a beast that is.

"Hmm... how smart, you would have been a really difficult opponent for Ace and Luffy, even for Zaz I think...but..." He muttered softly as he watched the Vulcan picking up the huge boulder as it run for the third time at Edam.

"Not me..."

That Vulcan should have thought that if he were to deprive Edam of his sight, it would surely have been his victory, an easy cake even.

Edam was no mere human...

He, instead of dodging stood still as the Vulcan who was rushing on him gripped the boulder with its two hands tightly and swung it toward Edam while pressing it even more with its enormous hands unlike before when it had just threw it toward him, the Vulcan wanted to make sure that this move would be effective indeed.

"You want to show off your strenght ? Bring it on ! " The little monkey's eyes flickered a pale-yellow light as he struck out his two palms forward to stop the huge boulder dead in its track resulting in a small "Crack!" and "Rumble!" like sound from the boulder itself due to being pressed strongly on both sides.

It was quite strange and impressive to see a young lad so young stopping such a huge boulder... boulder being pushed by a Vulcan at that... The difference in height and strenght should have been so enormous... but nope... the young lad facing the beast seemed set to overturn the common senses of this world.

Even the beast's face growled out of anger at one point and seemed to turn quite unsightly as it tried to pressed the boulder even more... in vain.

And Edam who was facing it didn't had it that easy too, he could feel his every fibers of muscles being streched, hardening and tensing by the minutes.

"Yep, I will work on my strenght too..."

Though he wasn't even using his Haki or his Ki but just the purest fleshly prowess his body could possibly bring out to fight on, the Vulcan was still really strong and could almost rival his own strenght, almost...

But unfortunately for it, it was only almost...

Anyway, while still pushing it forward, Edam slowly retracted one hand out to formed it into a tight fist backward that he abruptly struck forward, fast and powerful,

Swooch!

Crack!

...Smashing the boulder into innumerables pieces of stones.

However as if it didn't understood anything, the vulcan released a powerful battle cry as it pounded again on Edam and punched.

Seeing this the little monkey too punched out the vulcan, and successfully meet its fist as the terrible sound of something cracking and breaking on the inside and the outside resounded in the mountain, followed by an equally terrible and even hollow-like cry.

"AaOoohhg...!"

The vulcan's arms had been crushed and literally smashed into a rather gruesome sight.

It was now wriggling on the ground out of pain holding what was once its hands, while Edam just looked at it without so much pity in his gaze. There wasn't really any anger to pinpoint nor was there any arrogance to point at... It was more like indifference toward that beast...

"How boring..."

Crack!

"AaOohhh...!"

And with this the vulcan lost its second arm... seemingly forever as it now looked just like a T-shirt's sleeves. A huge body with boneless arms.

It cried out like a pig being slaughtered by a butcher for a long time as it wriggled on the ground before calming down slightly.

However it was still looking at Edam with as much hostility as before if not even more.

As the little monkey was facing the big monkey, a sound suddenly rang out coming from not that far away drawing the attention of Stella and the vulcan while Edam just took a glance already knowing who it was somehow.

Coming out of the forest, two small figure slowly came out.

"Oh you two, what are you doing here ?" Stella call out from the side curiously.

"Hehe Stella-nee, we've heard some ruckus while we were strolling around and so we've come to check." Kyara said cheerfully as she laughed with her hand pulling her sister's own indicating that she was the one who wanted to come.

"Sigh..." Cyera sighed at her sister silly and childish antics but didn't say anything.

"Hey you two where is Zaz ?" Stella asked the sisters.

"Hm ? he's here-... oh he's gone..." Kyara turn to behind them but there was no Zaz to talk about.

"Where is he ?" Kyara asked her Cyera but she too didn't know.

"Perfect. Both of you bring back Sis with you to the camp, I don't think there will be any other predator like this one around."

"Okay..." Cyera replied and nodded at his words.

"Hm ? Alright but come back quickly, I will go make the dinner." Stella said as she passed by Edam and walked toward the sisters.

"Eh ? Already but we just-..." the little lion girl complain but...

"Yes, yes and that's enough for today, come on..." Stella pulled Kyara's hand dragging her fȯrċɨbŀƴ despite her cries of unwillingness.

"Nooo, I want to stay with Edam-nii...!"

Edam just shook his head and smiled faintly at her tantrum as he watched them getting far away before turning back toward the vulcan and noticing that it was launching for the godamn fourth time already ! Even when despair was clearly in front of it.

It's will to live was commendable indeed but...

When Edam looked at it again, he frowned a bit as his eyes flickered to a pale-yellow hue for a moment as he blocked the fast incoming head with his left hand and swept it away with slap on its cheek at the same time making it crash down head first, a meter away.

Dang...!

"Stay down would you..." Edam said as he started to walk toward it.

"I really should just ripped your head off right now, out of pity..."

"But... I should also pluck your eyes out that is..."

A silence took place as Edam looked deeply at the Vulcan's pink-like eyes paling and becoming dimmer and dimmer as time flowed by...

A cry of agony resembling the wail of a ghost reverberated in the deep and dark forest.
