One Piece: The Eldest Brother

Another week passed in a blink of an eye. The Navy's students vacation had been delayed due to everything which happened in this small month.

Today was a good day as the sun rose on this beautiful morning tearing apart the clouds in the sky to illuminate the world of its light.

Near the border of a cliff, facing a beautiful sight of the seawaves flowing about free and unrestrained, the figure of Edam dressed in some plain white clothes could be made out there, his black hair dancing along with the sea breeze as he sat crossed-legged on the fresh soil of the cliff-border.

On his head, Black Snow sat on it quietly as it slept.

Behind him was a wooden cross planted in the ground surrounded by the trees and the various plant of the deep forest. In front of the said wooden cross was a gravestone where there was some letters engraved on it to make the name. "Sabo".

"...Sigh... We didn't even get to taste those few delicious dishes you told me about Sabo..." Edam muttered quietly under his breath with a melancholic face watching the sea calmly.

His voice paused for a moment as he then looked at the sky, at the now famous Sky-ring exactly, before adding a few words.

"I've taken revenge for you... and although I don't remember the exact details...I think the bastard did suffered a bit before passing away..." He remembered the picture he saw in the newspaper showing the celestial dragon being roasted to death.

He then laughed softly as he thought about something else.

"Haha... Now that I think about it I've even got a wanted poster... before any of you had even set sail, I'm already wanted, what a joke... and what an irony." He who was supposed to become a Marine's soldier was already wanted by the world...

"Sigh..." Edam exhaled a deep sigh as he laid down flat on the ground.

Edam then looked at the clouds for a while before yawning a bit as his eyes slowly closed, his mind sinking into sleepiness as the shades of the trees offered him a cover.

...

The other day, after having cried out like a baby in Garp's company, they returned to Dadan's house where everyone was waiting at.

And by everyone it meant to say...

Ace, Luffy, Zaz, Cyera, Kyara, Dadan, Magra, Dogra and all the other bandits.

There was even Zephyr too at the place asking Zaz and the others about what had truly happened.

And to Edam's surprise Stella too was there. She who didn't really want to come before because she had some hints about her past and was already on it had rushed with Garp and Zephyr immediately when she heard the news and she even decided to stay with him for a few days.

Unfortunately that wasn't the case for Garp and Zephyr, they had works to do, and even more now, and so they left after a few days.

As for Zaz and the twin sisters, they too stayed behind. Well it was mostly Zaz who wanted to stay, and as the twin didn't and couldn't really leave his sides they too stayed.

The three of them then acquainted themselves with Ace and Luffy while Edam wasn't here. As Zaz had a close personality to their brother, they got along pretty well it seems.

Though Luffy couldn't remember as he was still a baby, Zaz already knew him and had even held him in his arms a long time ago.

Anyway after that, Edam was kind of depressed but Ace, Luffy and Zaz as well as the others tried their best to cheer him up a bit.

Everytime they would do some activities like hunting and training or just robbed some bandits together he would always try his best to smile and laughed.

The sleeping Edam slowly opened his eyes as a voice resounded suddenly coming from behind him in the forest.

"You're here again..." The voice was filled with gentleness and maturity but also with a bit of exasperation too.

"Sis..." Edam didn't need to turn around as he already knew at the sound of the voice and the beat of her heart that it was her.

Obviously there was only one person that Edam called "Sis" so casually and it was Stella.

"We were all searching for you, you know..." Stella approached him, bending her body slightly as she looked at him from above and smiled gently while some strands of her golden hairs fell down, stroking his nose playfully.

"Searching ? But I'm always here you know..." Edam rubbed his nose and looked directly at her two round and beautifull blue pupils that were reflecting his own face like a deep pond.

"Well they all hope to see you move on, you know..." She gaze deeply into his eyes as she said with a calm and gentle tone.

At those words, Edam's two eyes that seemed to be clear like a calm sea wavered slightly. He couldn't help but looked at his own reflection in Stella's mirror-like eyes.

It has been quite moment now since he had truly felt happy...

He, like any persons could sometimes sulk, depress, become angry, become sad...etc... In other words having no dėsɨrės at all to smiled and laughed but... that was for a short time.

His laugh now were more sarcastics and/or sad and/or depressing, nothing like what a laugh should be like.

[Above grief, there is nothing...] 'I'm really starting to understand those words...' Those words were uttered by a woman whose family had been slaughtered by pirates. They weren't just killed that is...She had two daughters... so you could imagine what happened...

Edam closed his eyes as he reflected for a good minute on it while Stella seeing this took a glance at the now awake Black Snow and smile as she stretched out her hands to stroke its head as the bird hop into the palm of her small and delicate hands in a gentle manner.

Near at the same time Edam abruptly sat up as he breathed in a huge amount of fresh air before exhaling and opening his eyes to looked at the sea in front of him.

He then shook his head as if to repell something off his head before clapping his two hands on his cheeks with a "Pah...!" like sound.

" ? " Stella looked at him stunned and bewildered by this gesture of his.

"Alright...! Let's do this ! I can't keep going on like that, Sabo had always wanted to live freely... I shall do the same..." Edam said with a spirited look on his face as he look ahead of him.

'However my way of living freely will be different than his. Does freedom exist ? I don't know... Can I obtain it ? I don't know... All I know is that... This world is in my way and it will have to move to the side...' A strange light seemed to light up in his dark and black eyes as he uttered that sentence in his head.

"Hehe... now, now, stop dreaming and let's return to the house, I have to cook..." Stella said as she turned around to walked off deeper in the forest to return home with Black snow in her hands.

At that Edam quickly walked to her side as he looked at her and said.

"What ? Sis... you don't have to cook every nights for them you know... can't they cook their own food ?" Edam exclaimed and snorted, a bit displeased at this fact.

Just the thought that Stella had become everyone's cook at the house already suffice to irritate him a bit, no a lot.

In his opinion, a pure soul like his Sis shouldn't be lowered to become some bandit's cook at all. Though he did like the bandits Dadan, Dogra and Magra, it was only Dadan, Dogra and Magra, as for the others... well they don't really care about him as much as he too doesn't care about them.

Anyway If it was a one time cooking, he wouldn't say anything but it has been days now and it was always her who cooked...

She laughed softly at his antics as she responded. "... I don't mind it you know, beside I'm cooking mostly for fun, I don't have anything else to do after all..."

"Really...?" Edam looked at her curiously and then began to asked. 'Sigh...she's too kind...'

"Oh yeah what about the rumours-...." However he didn't finished his question that he stopped abruptly in his track and in his words as he looked foreward with a calm gaze.

Stella too after noticing his behavior had stopped in her tracks completely and looked ahead.

Ahead of them, a hundred meters away from them stood what seemed to be a huge gorilla fighting an Aligator, or more like killing the said Aligator pounding on it with its fists.

The beast was like a normal gorilla apart from its weird looking face (which was rather ugly by the way) and was about four meters tall with a large body too, It was entirely white colored with a pink heart-like mark on its ċhėst.

"A vulcan..." Edam said pointing out its true name.

"A vulcan ? Isn't that just a white gorilla ?" Stella asked in surprise looking at the beast ahead clearly having no idea about what it was.

"No, no it is a Vulcan...no doubt..." Edam affirmed with a clear and confident.

"And so what's different from gorilla ?"

"Well... They...uh..." Edam paused a bit as if finding it difficult to continue his words before adding.

"They are known as the Filthy beast or as the Women's kidnappers..."

Stella's eyes widened in surprise as she took a glance at the Vulcan ahead.

It had already noticed their presence when it had finished the Aligator's off.

Now that she looked at it closely, the beast ahead was acting strangely. It was panting really hard and was looking at her up and down with his weird looking eyes as if he want to eat her up wholly.

"Hu...hu...hu..."

Stella didn't have any words to describe this weird situation. Although Edam didn't precise what it would do to his victims, she wasn't stupid enough to not guessed it. The simple thought of it was kind of repulsive...

Meanwhile Edam didn't said anything, his face was slightly lowered and hidden by his hair as a strange atmosphere took place all of a sudden with the only sound ranging out being the weird panting of the beast.

Even Edam's tail who was always moving about like the sea waves was unmoving and was hanging down, seemingly lifeless...

"Hu...hu...hu..." Anyway the beast excitement was going higher and higher as he watched Stella's every curve and forms before... The weird sound coming out of him even led to think tht it was laughing deviously...

"Hu...!"

Swish...!

The Vulcan lauched itself on the duo at full speed.

Seeing this Stella took a step back as her hands glittered with a silver fluide floating just a few inch of her hands. However Edam's calm and now somewhat cold voice rang out in her ears.

"Sis...let me take care of it..."

Oh yeah nearly forgot, Do you think that I should change the title and moved it to "Anime and Comics" ? I mean does it bother you that it isn't in the right section ?

For the title, now that I think about it, maybe people are mislead and think it is a Yaoi or something.... Not that I mind it.
