After the party, An Ran went back home. She heard grievous cries from the next door when she was about to open her door.

It's from Ai Meimei's.

An Ran opened the door. An Ze was mopping the floor. She asked lightly, "What happened in Family Ai?"

"Ai Meimei has delivered a baby." An Ze was indifferent.

"Isn't that good?" An Ran heard about Ai Meimei's delivery and felt better. "I'll visit her."

"Don't." An Ze stopped her. "She deserves it. Why should you visit her?"

"I'll be back in a minute." An Ran pulled her hand away and went to knock on Ai Meimei's door.

It was a mess. They didn't feel happy about the birth.

Ai Meimei was crying in her room with the baby crying in her arms. Ai Meimei's mother Aunt Yi was also weeping. She muttered, "It's a sin!"

It was very doleful and melancholic.

"What's wrong, Sister Meimei?" An Ran asked carefully.

The crying kid had nice skin. She was obviously a girl and would become as pretty as Ai Meimei after she grew up.

But Ai Meimei cried more violently.

"Ranran..." Ai Meimei couldn't speak.

"Stop crying. You had it coming! How can you live with such a burden?!" Aunt Wang was sad and angry.

A burden? How could such a cute baby girl be a burden?

An Ran wanted to ask, but she saw everyone grieving, so she just comforted Ai Meimei and left.

An Ran's heart started racing. She looked at An Ze who was mopping the floor, and replied to him in a low voice, "Ok."

It's good. She wanted to speak with Ye Chengwei.

An Ran hung up. After she calmed down, she told An Ze, "Ah-ze, I'll go shopping with Liu Weiwei. You tell mom that I'll be back after supper."

An Ze didn't suspect and agreed.

In the villa, Sister Rong greeted her with a smile and had prepared slippers for her.
