"Oh my God the karaoke was insane." I stated, happily. We were going to his house now and for some reason I couldn't place my hands on he had been quiet althrough the way, only responding when I spoke. Kuku is never quiet. And him being like this made me feel all shades of uncomfortable.

"Yeah it was. I loved it." He paused then he stared at Me and smiled. "Never have I ever had so much fun."

I nodded. I wanted to say the same when a bus stopped in front of us blocking our path. "What the f.u.c.k.i.n.g hell! Why the f.u.c.k.i.n.g hell will they do that!" Kuku cursed. I was about to go down and give them a piece of my mind when three armed men came down all dressed in black.

I screamed. "Oh my God! Oh my God. Robbers!"

"Calm down. Let me try to reverse." Kuku said sounding in control of the situation. I didn't know if he was not scared, or if he was but just trying to help me calm down. He moved the car backwards trying to reverse when one of the armed men shot at the car breaking the window.

"Oh my God." I screamed. Tears already started falling down my face. Never have I been in such situation before, never. My eyes were shut close as kuku reversed. "Oh my God, I don't want to die." I sobbed softly.

"I don't know who you are but we are here for the girl named Zara give her to us and save your life. Protect her and perish with her." My eyes flew open when I heard this instruction. A guy who I assumed was the leader shouted.

"What the hell is going on?" Kuku asked sounding frantic.

It was so late in the night almost 12am so the street was lonely. That's one thing about being in an area for the rich, they retire early.

"I don't know." I cried out. Must be enemies of my dad or something. "You have to let me out or they will kill both of us." I stated trying my best to be calm. Sometimes I could be selfish but never selfish as to any situation that could be detrimental to someone's life. This is my fight and I will never forgive myself if kuku is dragged to it.

"We are together Zara always. I won't let you go at least not without me." With that he reversed and started driving at 120km which I considered fast enough. At first they started shooting breaking the side mirror and almost shattering the wind screen.

I bent down folding myself like a ball. "They are following us now." Kuku announced sounding like he was more into informing me of their next move than scared.

I looked up, and indeed they were on our tail although they had stopped shooting. "Oh f.u.c.k f.u.c.k what the hell are we going to do." I asked no one in particular. "Oh lord please let me survive this and I promise I will never stay out late again. No more karaoke." I prayed shutting my eyes tightly like it would stop my heart from falling out.

Kuku chuckled then he drove faster increasing his speed. Suddenly they hit our car which caused my head to hit the side glass. I yelped in pain. "Are you alright?" Kuku asked.

"I am. Let me call my dad. The police in this country is useless." I shivered. I brought out my phone with difficulty from my Side pocket as I was sitting down with that side. My Dad picked on the first ring.
