But something like a body reverting back to its original state before even completing its self-destruction is a first in his thousands years journey.

Elihim crouched down, "Are you… still alive?" he poked Rin's head. But he only heard muffled groans.

Elihim leaned his head forward and whispered, "What?"

"That hurt… very much.", Rin is actually crying that he dared not to show his face. He rarely cries but after encountering this torture-like experiences, he couldn't keep his toughness.

"Uhh… yeah… your body did exploded into pieces and… well… reverted back. I'm sure that isn't a good experience at all…" Elihim started to pity this young guy. Even he himself have no idea if he could bear that pain.

Rin's heart exploded twice in a row and not long after, his whole body followed. Getting hanged couldn't compare to this! Is there a reason for his body not to seek a rest? Therefore, his consciousness faded and left Elihim talking to himself.

"This kid…" The eyes that were dead before have not left a single trace on Elihim's face but glittered. He thought of something that he wished is true. He started to have heavy breathing, his eyes was instead, filled with glitters that reflects the young man called Rin who's sleeping.

Elihim placed his hand on top of Rin's head and in a short amount of time, Rin woke up.

The calm and cool God before was the exact opposite now. Without patience, Elihim called Rin, "Don't sleep yet. I need to know something now."

Rin felt energetic right now, somehow this feeling is the same before when Nathan caressed his back.

"Did you know what you've treasured all along?", Elihim smiled.

Rin glanced at him, he had been avoiding this question because the answer would prove that he is weak. Therefore, he stayed silent and wouldn't give in.

But Elihim didn't await for an answer and said, "Death…"

Rin's heart suddenly start aching when he heard this. A man who treasured his own death. Those are the ones who completely gave up on life and furthermore, his wish was to be better at the next life. He wanted to escape, he did just gave up but also turn his back. That is truly being weak and being a coward.

"Hihihi! This is the first that I've encountered.", Elihim said in a low voice "Be careful…"

Rin couldn't understand those two words but he will later on in a harshest way possible.

Elihim abruptly stood up seemingly in a great mood.

Rin rolled and faced the ceiling. Everything was sudden that he had yet to react and another one showed up. What can he do at the moment? But all he can think was how weak he was. Is it his fault that he was born weak? Or it is his fault that stayed weak?

His mother's words of comfort couldn't reach him. If he did remember then he would remember his deceased mother. Such a bother.

He glanced at the clock hanging on the wall and realized it has only been an hour before everything happened.

His mind is accustomed to overthinking that he didn't know when he fell asleep that night.

Before he knew it it was already morning. It felt like a blink to him.

"I've been sleeping a lot lately.", Rin sat up and held his head with his right hand.

Growl!!* Rin looked at his stomach with a hopeless face.

"After everything that I went through, I still can't do anything about it.", He stood up, with his dead eyes, looked at the fridge.

"Elihim… another [God]?", are gods common nowadays? Seeing two within a month, there should be no other one except for him was what in his thoughts.

When his stomach growled again, he went to the fridge and looked inside of it. That is when he just remembered that there is no food left.

Growl!!*

Rin was at conflict, there is no food left in the fridge and he knew for sure that can foods are already gone. Is he not going to eat or is he going to buy some? Buying some meant that he would go outside. He have no confidence of communicating. If only he have someone who could help him. Someone like Dana!

"Ah, we did exchange contact info!", Rin's eyes lit up but then dimmed again when he thought, 'I'm going to rely on someone again? No, I can't bother Dana for something stupid as this!'

Rin took a shower and got ready for departure. He made it looked all important by preparing many things but, in the end, he is just going to a supermarket.

He breathed deeply while his stomach growled. He felt weak from hunger. But before going out, he remembered the window that had been broken by Elihim when he was about to lock all the door from the inside.

"He can get in without destroying a window but he would destroy a window to get out? When he came back, he just faded and was gone?", Rin complained because that is the only thing he could do. He's afraid that Elihim would hear him but he knew that a God should be busy than stalking him.
