I Am Undying

Rin heard the man sighed, seemingly being bothered. Afraid to go against this another mysterious man who also suddenly appeared, Rin answered.

"I'm Cursed.", Those pair of words hold an incredible amount of weight inside Rin's heart. Up until now, he did not face his despair but now, he was forced to.

Rin looked at the man, waiting for his answer. Rin just stared and for a split second, the light flickered. He finally got a glimpse of the man's appearance. The man has a messy white hair and a sharp face but what Rin noticed the most was his eyes. He was looking at Rin as if he was already dead.

Rin's instinct was roaring, telling him to run away from this man immediately but his body couldn't even move. The killing intent that the man was giving placed a mountain of pressure on Rin.

"It's a pity, you already have the [Wish Contract] but you lost at the exchange. You must be despairing right now.", the man threw the apple away.

Rin saw that this man's eyes opened from being closed. How he knew that is because the man's eyes glowed a golden light. He clearly saw a glimpse of the man's dead eyes earlier but now it turned to a glowing gold.

"Nathan only chose those who are desperate to have something. He manipulate them and turn their treasured onto his own. If you don't know what you treasured the most then you are going to lose to that contract.", the man got down from the fridge, his landing was silent as if his feet didn't touch the ground "Since you've already been chosen then you are already pitiable but then, you lost to the contract." He slowly stepped closer and closer to Rin.

The pressure alone can kill Rin if he could die. Rin's survival instincts are going wild. His heart was rampaging in his chest like an angry beast in a cage

"Try not to piss in your pants. That would be a shame before I try to relieve you from all your pain."

Just right after the man had said that, Rin felt his chest burst, his heart exploded. He threw a mouthful of saliva.

"Poor child, this could not happen if you were better. Well not that I blame you."

"…."

Rin laid down on the floor and could only watch as the man opened a closed metal window with pure strength like it was paper. Rin couldn't close his eyes, he saw something unbelievable. First, he learned the powers they used and now he saw that they are also have power that fit the world's common sense.

They are not only [Magic Users] but also [Law Breakers].

Rin didn't even felt pain while he slowly recover. The reason that he felt no pain wasn't because his mind became numb from pain but he forgot it.

He's eager to learn more about all the things that denies the laws of the world. When his heart was about to fully heal, his mind came back to his senses that the pain he forgot attacked his whole body.

"AHH!!!!!", Rin immediately lost consciousness…

"Huh?"

Rin slowly reopens his eyes and saw a man, it was clearly the one who killed him. This man who has such demeanor just a short while ago is now having a dumbfounded look on his face. Rin decide to closed his eyes again.

"You actually opened your eyes, didn't you?!", the man yelled.

Rin didn't answered and stayed like that, not listening to the man.

'Why is he here again?! Did he knew that I can't die? Then why did he leave earlier?! Although I want to die, I don't want my heart exploding!! On top of that I'm still not dead yet!!', Rin complained. He no longer felt the pressure he had earlier when the man's eyes were glowing gold.

"Did I messed up and failed to killed him? How? That's really embarrassing. For me, Elihim, to fail to kill a weak mortal!? This'll sure haunt me for life…", the man, Elihim felt like crying.

Elihim became silent and Rin started to feel the pressure again before Pop!* his heart exploded again.

"How did I fail earlier? I just repeated what I've done.", Elihim did not leave yet but observe if there was some kind of mistake but after a short silence, he gave up and left.

"What some sort of consecutive consequences for that to happen?", he's disgusted by himself, he was feeling uncomfortable "I actually have to go back to kill him again." Elihim got so irritated that he yelled and yelled while stomping on the ground.

"Arghh!!!!", Elihim stopped. That one was not his shout. He turned back and saw the dead body moving and wiggling as if suffering from pain. Nerves appeared on Elihim's forehead, he made a quite ugly angry face.

He walked towards Rin with stomping steps as he shout, "Ahh!! So unbelievable! I even heard his heart go 'Pop!'", his hand gestured an explosion.

His eyes glowed gold again and placed his palm to Rin and said, "I have to make sure you die…"

"Explode."

Not just Rin's heart but his whole body exploded but to Elihim's out of understanding, time seemed to stop. Elihim stared blankly as he witnessed something he could not process. Rin's body should be in a thousand pieces by now and scattered around but his body exploded but as if time stop and revert in an instant, the body didn't continue its trajectory but went back to its original position as if a jigsaw puzzle.
