Help! I'm In Love With A Liar

Someone touched me very softly, on my hand and I opened my eyes. Right in front of me, I saw Wang weeping terribly. Behind him, I spotted Dr. Kuan and my family, standing looking at me lovingly. I wanted to wear my scarf and I lifted my hand to pick it. Wang held my hand and put it carefully back on the bed

"No more hiding anything," he said wiping his tears.

"I am sorry I had to lie to you. I never wanted you to go through all of this again," I said, looking into his eyes.

Wang paused for a minute. He looked at me with teary eyes.

"I love you Cecilia and I love you no matter what life shows us," he said, holding my hand.

A teardrop ran down my cheeks.

"But I am no more the same girl you loved. Look at me, I have changed," I said now crying.

"Don't talk nonsense! If you think saying all this will push me away then, you are wrong," he rebuked.

"But I have cancer. I can die very soon," I sobbed.

Dr. Kuan, sat close to me and said, "Firstly, Cecilia I told you, having cancer doesn't mean a death sentence. You have to be strong and positive. Cancer cells are always scared of positivity and love."

"Don't forget there are many people who have fought this battle and won it," my dad added.

There words had a great impact on me. All my loved ones were close to me and now, even Wang was with me. I had nothing to worry about. I had to stay strong for them. Wang was now smiling lovingly, still holding my hand. After five minutes, everybody except Wang, departed the room.

"You are an idiot," Wang reproached.

"I have been hearing that ever since I was born," I chuckled.

I was no more conscious of my bald head or my faint eyebrows. I was so happy to see him with me.

"Ok," I said, confused.
