An Ton's Journey

after getting around four Million minerals in a day for almost a month, prices were reduced and now trees would worth much less.

In a month I got a total of 110 million. that could be higher, but many probes work hard on many other stuff like creating anchors, collecting many types of resources for research and so on.

Also, I finally l finally landed my Nexus. And now I can upgrade anything and everything I need.

And first, I upgraded [Nexus Modification Station], or [NMS] for short.

it was 10m minerals, but it is totally worth it.

It changed its appearance to the whole commanding center. it included many panels in the circle and one hexagon shaped in the center. Main one.

It seems that it is last one that I can upgrade for now. And there are no information about the ways of unlocking higher level.

Upgrading [NMS] allowed me to warp small [modification stations] connected to the main one. But only in pylon's energy network.

It might be useful if I can not get this Nexus out of this planet, as I plant to travel and find more about this world.

Next, it would be nice to upgrade myself, as looking at upgrades needed to make Nexus fly, would not be worth the minerals yet.

As I began thinking about what to upgrade first, I saw a new function. [ give access ]

It allows Nexus to get upgraded by other people, so I would not have to spend a lot of time on upgrading it and just be away from it.

How convenient.

Presently, no vespene is yet available as conversion takes time and might have differences with expected results, but it is expected that I will get 100 vespene in around a week.

Those are great news, but for now I decided that I will leave vespene to smiths for now, as they need to use it to make stable mine and good laboratory made for the sole purpose of getting vespene.

What surprised me in protoss, is that normal civilian people are not that different from the ones I am used to.

They too can be lazy, ambitious, smart, dumb, and so on. As in games no civilian life was shown, I didn't expect it.

Now I better get council leader whose name I can't even pronounce , Xarax and Fenix to give them access to the systems of Nexus and ask about their plans for future development.

So I called them. For a talk that we better do now, and not postpone for long.

" Hello, welcome, I called you guys here fir a pretty important talk, so please listen first and then ask any questions or answer mine" I said while they sat down and nodded in understanding.

" First of all, as, I hope, we all understand - I am not really that much of a leader. I am not interested in ruling and would be bad at it, but in it lies the main problem - you are absolutely loyal to me, and you understand that it is not normal, yes? " I said, waiting for confirmation.

" Yes" They all said in unison.

" Good, that is one of the main topics of our conversation. Keep it in mind." I said while being a little nervous about this theme, but still I would feel extremely bad if we at least would not talk about it.

" Second one - we will talk about your and mine future plans, as it would do us good to know what is going on and what will happen." I said while looking at them one by one. And they looked a little bit nervous.

" What is it? why are you guys nervous? " I said thinking that it was something bad.

" Ehm, nothing much really. But we regularly talk to each other about situation, so... " Councillor said after they looked at each other and decided who will talk.

" ... " I was quite for couple of seconds, while feeling anxious and giddy about this situation...

" Ehm. I see, but still, I would like to know about your plans and Would like to know your opinion on my plans, okay? " I said nervously, calming down a little bit to the end of my sentence

And they nodded to my question. Not really talkative, but I am already used to it.

"And the third topic will be the world and how we will interact with others" I finished

"So. I suppose we can begin. " Said chancellor.

"First of all, let me begin from our plans..." Chancellor began his long speech with a lot of details and stuff. After him others spoke about their sides and basic plans.

Basically, it was - colonize the planet, look for resources, find a stable and renewable way to get minerals and vespene, create protection network around the planet and finally create fleet.

Everything else comes after.

When we began talking about their absolute loyalty to me, it was hard to believe them as they are absolutely loyal. This led our talk to the point where we agreed that everything is fine for now, and that we will try to find limits of loyalty and maybe even reason for it.

But they tried to ȧssure me that they are fine with me, especially because I am not trying to make them do something stupid and useless.

Also it makes me nervous that I literally enslaved whole species just like that. So i try not to buŧŧ in their business too much, but still will take my share of resources as this is what I want and need. My system need resources for upgrades and it might give something extremely useful after upgrading.

And I am not philanthropic enough to give everything away, especially if it is basically my achievement. They would not be here without me. Heh.

Now it is time to change something in my body. It is kinda strange to not feel anything.

And being two meter in diameter also makes me kinda big. It would be suspicious to travel like that, and also I want to have sense of touch and maybe other stuff like that. It is hard without it.

I broke so much trees and broke so much shields because I was just too big and was unable to feel how I move.
