An Ton's Journey

So, Fenix said that we need phase smiths and some kind of council to begin creating protoss city.

Also, as smiths are specialists, they most probably know how to get vespene.

Now I need to find a way to summon them. After searching locked list of researches, I found out, that some phase smiths work at forge... So, they are inside that extremely complicated forge of mine? just inside nexus?

They were here all this time? WTF?!? How the heck did I not see them?

So, after crying a little bit about my stupidity, I decided to try and get inside the forge.

After searching for a way in, and even creating some gravitational pathways to get to the top of the forge, I could not find an entrance.

After some thoughts, I decided to call Fenix and see if he would know some way to get inside. It was right call. Fenix seemed to look strangely at me, and just came close to the wall and placed his hand on it.

After he placed it, lines of light came from the surface and they were moving to what seem to be opening door.

So, protoss hand is needed, huh. fck. So, this is the reason why I could not get inside.

"So every time I will need to get inside, I will need protoss? Ugh. not good." I said to Fenix while we both got to the door.

" No, An Ton. You can do it too, just use manipulator and touch the smooth part of surface. Forge changes its entrance depending on what they are doing inside, as they might need different ammount of space inside for different projects." Fenix replied in cal manner while we began walking inside.

After we got inside, there were no smith inside, but There were some kind if control panel and from there I could get them. Each one costs thousand minerals. Easy!!

So I warped ten. don't know why, but I think it will be ok.

" En taro Tassadar, executor. " They said to me

" En taro Adun, hero Fenix" They said to Fenix.

Huh, so Fenix seem to be a hero for them. Noice. Good first hero, huh.

After talking with smiths, It seems they will need some time to create a plan for the future. Also, when I talked to them about not having any vespene, they seemed troubled.

They asked about our situation, and considering that they will make my life easier I told them what I know. About this world, force, ships, and so on.

After that it seems they will have to create devices to scan underground for vespene or any other kind of energy supplying material.

I wanted them to use my stations for this, but it seems they could not. Also, by their words, that this technology is absolutely different from Protoss. And they don't have any way to understand it, at least with their current situation. The only one who could have a chance is Xarax, but there are no guarantee.

One group worked on planning and creating warp anchors for civilian buildings and making this planed their first, while other group worked on finding a way to get vespene.

It seems that it will take some time.

So, I decided to take care of my garden, again.

As I began separating flowers by their colour, It came to me that there seem to be some too colourful flowers, much stronger and denser colour then usual. After getting a closer look at one of them, it seem that they emanate light. But only if they are close to their own, and the more there are, the more light they create.

Interesting flowers I found. huh.

After replanting them all to get every colour separated, I gone with Fenix to the Pepegas for some chat and more information about this world.

As Fenix seemed to finally be able to talk normally with them, I decided to wander off because at some point, I stopped understanding a thing...

In my inner system there is a scanning function, and I decided to use it on the ship, as if we could not get vespene, smiths would have to create something based on this universe's fuel.

Scanning did not take long, and after couple of seconds I had full schematics of this ship. Huh, extremely fast. Dud not expect it to be this fast, but considering that protoss are extremely advanced, and I seem to be special, it does not look so surprising anymore.

Coming back to Nexus, smiths reported that anchor is complete and they can begin warping council building. As they would decide what should be done, as neither me or smiths are good at that.

Placing anchor on to the cleaned space outside of the Nexus, I began warping them. It did not cost a lot, ten thousand minerals for all seven of them.

~ After three weeks ~

I now don't have to do anything at all. All the work is done by the council, smiths and Fenix.

In the last weeks, Pepegas finally flew away after a long consideration. And council seems to be very efficient. They created small town and warped a lot of protoss.

Construction is mainly done by probes as every other task that does not include thinking and talking.

Smiths created special scanning towers and scanned deep under the ground. And it seems, that we will have to dig deep for dome kind of fuel and convert it to vespene.

Now they work on recreating plans of satellites that they call warp net. It will begin covering the planet in their energy field and work as satellites on earth, but more advanced. Like live feed all across the world.

Peeping comes to the next level. ouf.

Also I don't need to research all the tech if smiths get me all information about this tech.

Nice surprise. Also, we decided that I will take half of all resources for my personal use, and half to use on growing and restoring protoss world.

~ week later ~

Everything is great! we found fuel!! Don't know why, but it seems like converting it chemically and using some advanced technology of theirs, to vespene is possible.

And this is incredible!! even though converting present fuel to vespene is highly inefficient, it is much better then using it as it is. Smiths explained that their tech is much more advanced then the one I scanned. Even though their technology is very interesting for them and they try to understand it. It fascinates them. It is so different from their own, even though not as good.

Except for light speed technology.

After all this time it seems that probes began collecting much more. They created tunnels to gather fuel, different kind of metals, ores, and everything else they could find.

Also, it seems that one nexus can support maximum of five thousand probes at the same time. All the other probes would require different kinds of control stations and operators for these stations.

I did not have any way to find out everything that has been done, so I decided to let ot be and enjoy my life until we get our first spaceship.

I've done what I could. I hope you enjoyed it at least a little bit. Kinda hard to write for last two days. Depression hits hard sometimes.
