A Twilight Promise

Rin visits Yuuki on the next day. Her script seems to have improved that no one disagree with the script at all. Rin grinned happily as she finally achieved something.

The script improved by at least making sense to everyone. A new addition to the story warms their heart. They took three days to practice acting the scenes in the play. Yuuki and Ryujii sometimes have issues due to their symptoms showing, not to mention others too.

For the days they practiced, they take breaks often, and also watch the twilight together in the evenings. When they finished their practice, they would need to prepare the costumes and equipments, which they still lack some due to some new additions. They decide to go out for shopping. "Could this be... A Date?!" Everyone who have their own crushes thought.

After an anxious night sleep, the club members met up with each other, along with Kaori who is in her off day, which she purposely take for taking care of everyone. "I came just because I had to take care of you, don't get the wrong idea!" Kaori exclaimed. The group laughed, and begin walking on the streets.

Ami and Haruto, the treasurers walking side by side, their faces flushing in red. "Oh my, he's so close, he's so cloooose!" Ami screaming in her head. "Oh shoot, she smiled at me this morning, did I just messed up?!" Haruto screaming in his head. "So embarrassing!" Both of them thought.

Sakura is walking on the street, Yamato and Daisuke are following her. "Hey, what do you want to buy next?" Daisuke asked. "Maybe we need some extra horns for some people, since both you and Yamato is going to play the demon underlings, so we have to prepare more horns." Sakura replied, looking at her phone while walking.

Yamato looked around, Aki, Fuyuko and Miku are not seen walking together. "Miss Kaori, where are the kids?" He asked Kaori. "They won't be coming because their parents wouldn't allow us to bring them outside. It's cold outside as well." She replied. Yamato who likes to play with children seems disappointed. He looked in front. It's Yuuki and Ryujii.

"Today is a date with Yuuki, I need to buy something for her, what should I buy for her? Ahhhh it's so hard to think about that!" Ryujii screams in his head. Yuuki saw him twitching a bit, wondering what is he doing. "Ryujii is a bit weird today. Did he found out that I want to buy a present for him today? No way! I have to keep it as a surprise!" Yuuki screams in her head, clenching her fists.

They went into the shopping centre, with Kaori's command, they buy things assigned in pairs, in shops separately, after they finished they must immediately return to the meeting spot. Yuuki and Ryujii are in charge of buying the fabrics, they passed by an accessory shop.

Yuuki stopped by and saw a bracelet with a sun pattern. She then asked Ryujii to proceed, while she go into the shop. Ryujii buys the fabric as told, and came out as Yuuki went into the fabric shop. They passed each other while not noticing each other. He stands next to the accessory shop, something caught his eye, a bracelet with a moon pattern.

He quickly bought it and stuffed it into his bag. And then he received a call from Yuuki. "I'm in the fabric shop, but I couldn't find you, where are you?" Yuuki asked. "Oh, I'm already outside the shop." Ryujii replied.

They came out from the shops at the same time, both of their expressions turned pale. "Oh no, he must have been asking the shopkeeper what I did just now, he definitely know what I just bought there!" Yuuki thought. "Ah, this is bad, if she sees me coming out from this shop, she'll definitely know that I was buying a present!" Ryujii thought.

"I must keep this secret till the end of the day!" Both of them thought. Taking the bold move, offense is the best defense, Yuuki walked up to Ryujii. "What are you doing here?!" She exclaimed. "Oh man, he must have seen me buying something from here..." Ryujii trembled, Yuuki noticed his reaction. She then got backfired. "Did I just scared him?!" Yuuki looked down and starts trembling too.

The shopkeeper saw the scene. "Ah, it's the people who bought the couple accessory just now. Are they in a quarrel?" She thought. Ryujii quickly take out his moon bracelet, and wears it on her left wrist. "Here, I just bought this from this shop, I just want to give you after the play finished, but..." Ryujii explained but Yuuki puts a finger to his lips. She then took out the sun bracelet and wears it on his left wrist too. "I thought the same too..." She giggles, both of them are petrified in embarrassment.

The shopkeeper is still looking at them. "Just go and get married already!" She thought. Both of them walked back to the meeting spot, noticing that the others are waiting for them for a long time, Yuuki is surprised that they didn't call them to come back. "Well, we just watched the both of you from here." Yamato said. The both of them had their faces flushed red on their way back, followed by the other's teasings.

It's already twilight when they walked back, they stopped by and watched it till the end. Everyone had fun today, but no one noticed, that there's another couple who secretly started, Ami and Haruto had their hands glued on the whole journey back.

In the hospital, a research lab with a lot of coffee cans and research materials on the floor, Dr. Hiro stood up from his seat, slowly looking at the results. "I did it... I found the cure..." He murmured, then fell asleep on another seat.
