You're My Only Star

Song Xing Xing found that she could not stop thinking about her last conversation with Luna. For the past few days, Song Xing Xing was thinking of how she was supposed to take an initiative with Lu Xun.

When she was sitting alone in her room, her mind would subconsciously think about it.

The thought excites and frightens her at the same. However, as someone without much experience in romance, Song Xing Xing found that sly did not know what she should do.

During her talk with Luna, her friend had given her a few tips. Thinking about what Luna had said made her grow shy.

Song Xing Xing did not think that she would have the courage to do such things.

If Lu Xun rejected her, she might as well die from embarrassment. However, if she did not take another step, Song Xing Xing was afraid that this matter would stay in her mind all the time and cause a strain in their relationship.

"Xing Xing, what are you doing?"

When Liu Yu Sheng poked her on her waist, Song Xing Xing finally snapped out of her thoughts. She looked around only to see that her colleagues were looking at her.

Earlier, the group of video editors had decided to visit the noodle shop not far away from the studio.

Her mind subconsciously thought about Lu Xun while looking at Liu Yu Sheng and Ning Yan.

She did not realize that she had zoned out, causing others to worry about her.

"It's rare to see you zoning out like this," Liu Yu Sheng said. Her expression grew concerned. "Are you alright?"

Song Xing Xing coughed. "No. I was just trying to recall whether I had saved the file project before we came out." She flashed them an assuring smile and spoke, "Don't worry about me."

The others completely believed her lies and continued to eat their meal.

Song Xing Xing glanced at her friend, hesitating whether she should consult her regarding her relationship with Lu Xun. In the end, she decided not to say a word.

The group returned to the studio after lunch.

Song Xing Xing decided to stop by a convenience store and had let the others leave before her. After purchasing a few sweets and snacks for her to binge on during working, she then returned to the studio.

As she walked into the building, the production staff was seen gathering in the lounge.

Song Xing Xing recalled that the studio was going to be busy with a few new projects and wondered whether they would start filming something new soon.

Seeing that they were busy with a briefing, Song Xing Xing climbed up the stairs to head to the office.

Just as she almost reached the top stairs, Song Xing Xing realized that someone was blocking the light in front of her. She looked up and was surprised to see that Huo Yun Chen was standing in front of her

The two of them were looking at each other in surprise.

"Did you just come back from lunch?" It was Huo Yun Chen who broke the silence between them.

"Un." Song Xing Xing nodded. "You had a meeting with the producers?"

"A new project was going to start soon." Huo Yun Chen smiled.

"Well then, good luck. I'm looking forward to seeing you in a new project."

"Tomorrow, a few of us will head to B City for a new project."

Song Xing Xing recalled that Lu Xun had told her that he would be going to B City to meet a few people. It seemed that Huo Yun Chen would be going along as well.

Initially, Song Xing Xing was not a fan. However, now that they have become friends, she began to pay more attention to Huo Yun Chen and his project.

Liu Yu Sheng had introduced her to a few of Huo Yun Chen's songs and she thought that his voice was quite good and his music was catchy.

Huo Yun Chen scratched the tip of his nose and coughed. Seeing that he had gotten her attention, he then spoke, "Actually, after what had happened the last time, I came to President Lu and told him that I wanted to withdraw from the agency."

Her eyes widened in surprise. "Why?"

His lips turned into a faint smile. "But President Lu convinced me to stay. He said that as long as I don't give up, the agency will not give up on me."

Song Xing Xing studied his expression before she spoke, "He's right. You did not do anything wrong. Why should you leave the agency? If you back up now, your enemy will definitely take advantage of you. Huo Yun Chen, you have worked hard to get to where you are now. In the past few years, you have struggled and worked very hard to get yourself back up to where you are now. Don't give up so soon. Don't give them a chance to suppress you."

She did not know why he wanted to quit, but Song Xing Xing thought that it would be a pity if he did.

His eyes flashed.

Huo Yun Chen recalled the last time that he was in that accident. He had hated the world and everything he used to love, including music.

It was after playing 'Legend of the Sky' and meeting Little Star and the others did he had gathered his courage to live again. His manager came and suggested he sign with NEXT Bright Agency.

He had worked hard until he had reached where he was now.

He met his fans again and had seen how everyone was rooting for him. Back then, when he was involved in those scandals, it was his fans who had backed him up. No matter how much he was scorned, they continued to stay and had believed in him.

Now that he had returned to the stage, his fans were happy for him and had wished for his happiness.

If he gave up now, he would disappoint his fans. If he quit the agency, then he would be allowing others to bully his fans. He did not want to disappoint the people who had stayed and supported him.

He should protect himself well and should do not allow others to take advantage of him.

Staying with NEXT Bright Agency is his best choice and the best decision.

Huo Yun Chen chuckled. His eyes turned gentle as he looked at the girl in front of him. It seemed that each time that he was having a doubt, Little Star would say something to boost his morale.

In this life, Huo Yun Chen thought that he was very lucky to have met Little Star.

"You're right. Don't worry. I am not giving up so soon. I'm planning to stay with NEXT Bright Agency."

"That's good."

The two friends exchanged a few words until Huo Yun Chen's manager called and urged him to hurry as he had a photoshoot.

Song Xing Xing watched his retreat back with worry.. A thought came to her mind as she recalled his words about going to B City with Lu Xun.
