You're My Only Star

Red Entertainment Award finally ended with the expected actor, actress winning. As it ended, the people began to disperse to leave the hall. As there was a large crowd outside, Lu Xun decided to stay around and chat with a few of his acquaintances in the industry.

Song Xing Xing looked at the man who was seated beside her and noticed the joyful look on his face. After she had admitted that they were dating, the smile on Lu Xun's face became apparent and his eyes twinkled.

His arms continued to rest around her waist as if preventing her from moving around. Initially, Song Xing Xing felt that his hands were tickling her. However, the person continued to hold her like this.

She was aware that this was also his way to tell others of their relationship. Anyone who saw how close they were would be able to guess what was going on between them.

Song Xing Xing snapped out of her trance when she noticed that everyone was looking at her. It was then that she realized that Lu Xun had asked her something and was waiting for her answer.

Lu Xun leaned forward and whispered, "They were asking if we wanted to join the after-party. Do you want to go?"

"It's up to you. If you're going, then I'll follow along."

Lu Xun thought for a moment and spoke, "Then, we'll go for a few minutes before we head back, alright?"

"Alright." Song Xing Xing nodded.

Once the crowd had lessened, the two of them finally left the place and headed to the next venue. When they arrived, Song Xing Xing looked around and saw that the party was mostly attended by the big bosses as well as the A-list celebrities.

Looking at all the big people in Capital City gathering at one place made her a little stunned. Some of the big shot in the crowd were people were an acquaintance of her family. Thinking that they might recognize her, Song Xing Xing decided to hide behind Lu Xun.

"What's wrong? Lu Xun asked when he saw the strange way his girlfriend was acting.

Song Xing Xing turned her head in a direction. "That is the young master of the Su family. He had a few dealings with my second uncle." Then she turned in another direction. "That person is Mr. Pan. His father is working in the ministry with my eldest uncle."

His eyes widened in surprise as he realized what she had meant. "You want to leave this place now?"

"It's fine. I don't think that they will recognize me," Song Xing Xing said. "I did not think that they will be here. Just to be safe, let's not get too close to them, alright." She glanced at the two of them again and sighed upon realizing that they had come to join the party with pretty celebrities beside them.

Lu Xun pondered for a while and nodded. "Then, we'll leave in ten minutes, alright." Seeing that she had agreed, Lu Xun led her to a quiet corner far away from the people that Song Xing Xing had mentioned.

It took her a while before Song Xing Xing was finally able to convince Lu Xun that she would be fine staying on her own. Lu Xun left her to sit down at a quiet corner and prepared a few snacks for her before he went to speak with a few others. 

Still, Lu Xun did not dare to leave his girlfriend too far. Seeing that Song Xing Xing started to look at her phone, a faint smile curled on his face. 

Song Xing Xing was still working on her farm in the game when she noticed the shadow looming over her. Thinking that it was Lu Xun, Song Xing Xing quickly exited her game and looked up.

The smile on her face froze the moment she realized that the person in front of her was not her boyfriend. Instead, it was Huo Yun Chen. 

Her eyes widened in surprise as she was not expecting that he would come to see her again.

"You were on 'The Legend of the Sky?"

"Mhm... You're here too."

Huo Yun Chen heaved a sigh. "My manager thought that it would be best for me to join the party and meet a few big shots. Perhaps I can find a few work opportunities." 

"Being a celebrity is not easy."

Huo Yun Chen laughed. He pointed at the seat beside her and asked, "Do you mind if I sit down?"

Song Xing Xing shook her head. "Please go ahead."

His brow rose. "You no longer afraid of my fans?" Huo Yun Chen pulled the chair and sat down.

"I heard that the reporters are not allowed to enter this event. I don't have to be worried about your fans at this place."

"That's true." Huo Yun Chen nodded. He opened his mouth to speak and hesitated. Finally, he let out a sigh and spoke, "Little Star, I didn't expect you to be dating President Lu."

Song Xing Xing flashed an awkward smile. "Hmm... Is it really strange?"

"No. I'm just curious to know how did the two of you got together," Huo Yun Chen said. He knew that Song Xing Xing was with the post-production crew. No matter what, he did not think that the two of them will have many intersections where they will see each other.

"Well, we did run into each other a few times. Afterward, things just happen," Song Xing Xing said. Of course, she would not mention her family background.

Huo Yun Chen flashed a smile, knowing that she would not speak of how they got together. Thinking that they were not that close in the first place, Huo Yun Chen decided not to probe.

At this time, Lu Xun walked over to them. His gaze was on Huo Yun Chen for a few seconds before he finally greeted him.

The two men exchanged their gazes as if scrutinizing each other. No one knew what was on their mind at this moment.

Song Xing Xing was starting to think that the atmosphere between them was a little strange when Lu Xun finally turned to her. 

"It's late. Xing Xing, let's go," Lu Xun said to his girlfriend. He then turned to Huo Yun Chen and said, "Mr. Huo, my girlfriend and I will have to leave first."

Huo Yun Chen nodded as he watched the girl gathered her belongings. He watched as she stood up and spoke in a low voice, "Little Star, I'll see you around."

Lu Xun had turned around when he heard Huo Yun Chen's voice. A frown appeared on his face as he wondered if he had misheard things.
