You Will Forever Be My Always

Chapter 30 (Aia's P.O.V)

I opened my eyes and saw that I was still in my office. I got up and turned my computer off. I grabbed my purse and got up to leave. I left my office and headed back down to the lobby. It was really bright and I couldn't see straight also knowing the fact that I take an hour or so nap in my office without any lights on. I stopped walking and let my eyes adjust to the sunlight and the brightness coming from outside. I walked outside and felt the sun hitting my skin which made me feel warm. I walked to the cafe I always go to and went inside. I went up to the register to ordered my usual. I payed for my food and went to take a seat by the window waiting.

"Aia?" I heard a voice said. I turned around to see who was calling my name. It was Arata. What is he doing here? I mean like yeah it's a cafe, but I don't think I've ever seen him here before.

"Arata? What are you doing here?" I asked in shock.

"I come here almost every day, what are you doing here?" He asked.

"I also come here every day....well when I can." I said.

"Can I sit with you?" He asked.

"Yeah." I smiled.

"It's been a while since I saw you, how are you doing?" He asked.

"I'm doing good, how are you?" I asked.

"I'm good, I just got the main lead in a drama that's shooting in Rome." He smiled.

"Thank you and I heard that you're going to college in America once summer ends." He said.

"Yeah, that's what I'm planning to and hopefully it turns out well." I said.

"What about you and Riku?" He asked.

"I went to go talk to his father about it and called off the wedding." I said.

"Why if you don't mind me asking." He said being cautious.

"Well after he left to New Zealand to film, everything felt different since then. His face was all over the news and media with Sun Hee while they were in New Zealand and after he got shot, I've always seen Sun Hee in his hospital room and I knew there was something going on between them two, so I called off the wedding." I explained to him looking out the window.

"I'm sorry Aia." Arata said with a soft smile.

"It's okay, I bet he's happier now." I said and one of the workers came to our table to hand us our food.

"Here are your coffee, scones, and sandwhiches. Enjoy." The worker said with a smile and left.

Arata and I started eating and talking more. It turns out we had a lot in common and he's a nice guy with a great sense of humor and personality. We kept talking and laughing and stayed in the cafe until sunset, which came by really quick in my opinion.

"I should get going, I gotta get back to ShinHigh." I said and got up from my seat.

"I gotta go too. I can walk you back to ShinHigh since it's on the way to LSC." He said also getting up.

"Thank you." I smiled.

"You are most welcome." He smiled. We left the cafe and headed towards ShinHigh. We talked a bit more and got to know each other better. It felt less awkward then when we first met. We made it to ShinHigh and we stopped in front of the enterance doors.

"Thank you for walking me here." I smiled.

"You're welcome." He smiled back.

I went inside and looked bad and saw him leave and went back up to my office. I opened my door and closed it and sat in my chair. I turned to my compueter and a picture of Riku and Sun Hee showed up. They were both all over the media and now that I'm out of the picture, he looks more carefree than usual. My office phone started ringing and it was the front desk calling.

"Miss Aia, your 6:00 appointment is here." The lady on the other side of the phone said.

"Okay thank you, please send them up." I said and she hung up. There was a figure at the door as well as a knock.

"Come in." I said and waited to see who the person was as they were opening the door. It was Cherry. I wonder what she was doing here.

"Cherry, what a surprise." I smiled.

"Hey Aia, I heard you and Riku called off the wedding." She said.

"Yes that is true." I replied.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said.

"I know it might be hard for you, but I thought I should tell you that Sun Hee and Riku have been hanging out more ever since they went to New Zealand together." She said looking down at the floor.

"I know, I figured it out ever since he got back." I said.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner." She said with an apologetic voice.

"It's fine. You were keeping your friend's secret." I said looking away from her.

"I'm sorry Aia, I really am." Cherry said getting my attention.

"It's fine Cherry, I repsect your loyalty to your friends." I said.

"It's getting late, I gotta head home. Sorry for waiting your time." She said leaving the room. After she left I start doing my paperwork to distract me from Riku and Sun Hee.

It was getting late, but I couldn't go home yet. I was still busy with paperwork for Jinx and getting my appointments ready with Aina them. I decided to finiah the reat tomorrow and call it a day. I gathered my things and got on the elevator to go back down to the lobby.

It was almost empty and from looking outside it was already night. I walked out of the building and realized that I didn't have a car since I drove Riku's car down to the hospital so he could have a way back home. I decided to just walk home and by home I mean back to the house where Riku and I lived in together. Now that the wedding was called off I needed to pack the rest of my clothes and my belongings.

I walked to the house and it was about a 30 minute walk or so and it was a bit cold since summer was almost over. I walked onto the driveway and saw another car parked outside. If it wasn't Mrs. Yua's car then whose car was it? I also saw all the lights on in the house and the windows weren't covered with the curtains yet. I walked closer to the house and saw Riku and with another person. Out of everyone it had to be her. At that moment I knew that it was time for me to go. I walked away and turned around to take one last look at the house that made me believe in love. I could feel my eyes burning with tears and I walked away.
