You Will Forever Be My Always

Chapter 29 Riku's (P.O.V)

I laid in the hospital bed thinking about what Aia told me. I didn't want to call off the wedding, but with the reasons she gave me I understand why she would want to. I tried putting myself in her shoes until the nurse came in to get my attention.

"Riku, Aia dropped these off for you earlier and just give me a few minutes to get the paperwork ready for you to be discharged." She said.

"Thank you." I said and grabbed the bag and keys.

I opened the and saw some clothes. My guess is that she didn't know which one to pick so she grabbed at least three of them. She packed a dark blue suit, a gray/silver suit, and a black suit. She always liked these three suits that I had and I would always wear them when I take her out. I smiled at the thought of that memory and got up to go change. I picked the dark blue suit and combed my hair while styling it. I went back to my bed and saw my car keys. Aia must've drove it here, so I would have a way back home.

"Riku, you can go sign the discharge form now." Sun Hee said walking into my room.

I nodded and grabbed my things and went to the front desk to sign the papers. I smiled at the nurse and left. I pressed the unlock button for my car and saw it parked beside the hospital and walked towards it.

"So where we going?" Sun He asked walking up beside me.

"Who ever said you were coming with me?" I asked.

"I guess." I said and got into my car.

Sun Hee got into the passenger seat while I thought about where to go. I thought about going to see Aia and talk to her, but she's probably still with my father, but I'll still wait for her at ShinHigh. I drove to ShinHigh Writing Industry hopefully seeing her there soon and parked the car. Sun Hee and I got out and loads of paparazzi and reporters were surrounding us and more were coming by the minute.

"Mr Riku Takahashi, is it true your father called off the wedding?" A reporter asked.

"Are you and Miss Kim Sun Hee a thing?" Another one asked.

"Is it true you love those two woman at the same time?" Another one asked.

I didn't have time for these questions or interviews so I made my way through with Sun Hee and finally got into the building. We finally relaxed and that's when I saw Ms. Chinen.

"Ms. Chinen." I said walking over to her.

"Mr. Riku, congratulations on your discharge. How are you feeling?" She asked.

"I'm feeling good and thank you." I replied.

"What brings you here?" She asked.

"I was hoping to find Aia here. Do you know where she is?" I asked.

"She's in her office right now." She answered.

"Thank you." I said and walked over to the elevator. The elevator music started playing and it sounded like a sad song being played on the piano and violin as a duo performance. I actually quite enjoyed it. Sun Hee stayed down at the lobby with Ms. Chinen and some other staffs while I came to see Aia. The doors opened and I walked to Aia's office. The lights were off and the door was locked. Is she in there? I knocked on the door and there was no answer. I knocked again and still no answer. Maybe she fell asleep after being up all night and day while waiting for me to wake up at the hospital. I got out my phone and tried to call her, but she didn't pick up. I tried to open the door, but it wouldn't budge.

"Aia." I said while trying to open the door again.

There was still no answer. I was getting worried, but then my phone went off and started ringing. I looked at the caller ID and it was my father calling me, which was weird because he never calls me unless it was important.

"Hello." I said picking up the phone.

"Riku, I'm sure that Aia has told you about calling off the wedding." My father said.

"Yes father, she did." I answered.

"I just announced it to the press and you don't have to marry her anymore. You can chose anyone you'd like to marry son." He said.

"Okay, and I know calling off the wedding was probably frustrating for you since you and Mr. Suzuki were planning it and buying everything for it. I'm sorry." I said.

"It's okay Riku. I gotta get back to work now. I'll talk to you later." He said and hung up.

I tried opening the door again and this time I put a little more pressure on it and it finally opened. It was dark in the room and I could barely see anything. I turned on the lights and saw Aia with her head down on her desk. I went over to her and she was sleeping. Her computer was still on and from looking at it, she was applying for colleges in America. I looked back at her and gently moved her hair from her face. She was sleeping so peacefully and she looked beautiful.

"Why did you have to call off the wedding beautiful? I know things have been tough with us the last 2 months, but it would be nice if we got married." I whispered softly and held her hand.

"I love you too much to let you go. Oh how it pains me to see you go away so far where I wish I could reach you." I whispered and kissed her forehead. I gently let go of her hand and got up. I looked back at her once more and turned off the lights and closed her door just like how it was when I got here. I stood in front of her door for a few more minutes and left.
