First young master of the Leng family:

Leng Demarco Li,

Li patiently listened, his half siblings are not many simply two brothers and sisters born from the two concubines, unlike normal families these concubines lived on a separate property and after bearing the children they were never seen again, in fact, Li knows that his father did not even touch those women but simply had them inseminated. This was also at the behest of his mother who had no desire for any more children after birthing himself. 

Li had thought that his mother was selfish for refusing to birth any more children and having too much tolerance for allowing another woman to give birth to a child for his father. 

His father did not acknowledge those children but simply provided for them a stable living, giving them his name, a home, resources to keep them stable and able to attend a school of good reputation.

Immediately at the mention of his wife, his father became silent. 

A while later they entered the mansion and found madam Leng sitting sipping leisurely while tapping away at her halo screen. 

Upon entry, madam Leng closed the screen, shooed the servants and quickly embraced her husband. 

"Husband, how was the banquet?" 

"Wife the banquet was good except for a minor scandal," 

"Scandal? On the property of the Jahs?" 

"En, those fools always want to step higher than they are allowed, the Jahs quickly handled it," 

"Mm, that is good, from what I know the youngest daughter is well protected and doing such a thing on her fifteenth birth date!? Simply shameless and stupid!" 

"yes, wife you are right," 

Both male and female held each other exchanging kisses and petting each other while speaking softly words of endearment. 

Li felt that he had suddenly become invisible. 

This he did not mind because when he did marry his Blu their children will be treated the same way. This also made him finally understand his mother, her duty as a wife is to help extend the bloodline. 

His mother had married and quickly produced him and after a few years she had encouraged father to take in two concubines and have them produced children, that to happened one producing twins a boy and a girl while the other produced a boy. 

The elders in the family had constantly clamoured for the twins to move into the main family home and of course, his parents had allowed it, but they had moved out leaving them with the grandparents. 

The duty of a wife had been done, for the family, children were born, the house was peaceful and business prospered. These are things the elders in the Leng family can not complain about concerning the legal wife, she had never acknowledged the children but she had never shunned them either. A wife is fit to be at the side of her husband while the concubine is only fit for please and producing extra heirs. 

"Mother, father; before you become too engrossed with each other I have an announcement to make. I have made a verbal agreement between the second daughter from the Jah family. We will be married upon maturity, the details are to be discussed between the parents."

Li wasted no time in quickly saying everything before the two could speak or fully react. 

" The second born daughter of the Jah family?"

The madam questioned in shock, her face displayed disbelief and then joy before switching to horror before questioningly turning to her spouse trying to figure out something, so she asked him softly. 

"The girl you spoke of before, was she a Jah? I thought this girl was from a lower ranked family?" 

The father seemed to be furious, shocked and then, simply enraged. 

He turned to his son wondering what he was thinking. 

The Jahs have no family to back them but they were powerful, even on par with such a big family such as the Lengs! 

The Jah family have a total of eight children six of them are males, and two being girls. As the only girl among the Jahs, the eldest daughter was pampered from birth but that changed when the final and youngest was born, this daughter was worshipped. 

She suffered no grievances, it had also been said that she is lazy but lazy how? The girl is a genius, it is just that she possessed no innate power. 

What was a person viewed as without innate power? 

A commoner! 

Their life span is pitifully short! 

What of his son? Marrying a wife who will age upon her seventieth year and die on her hundredth and twentieth? 

How would his son who has a lifespan of over three hundred years continue to live after? Master Leng could not accept this, he refused! 

"You will not marry her, I disagree! She has no innate talent and will-" 

Li said defiantly, "I refuse!" 

"She has contracted with the egg passed down-" 

Master Leng had a eureka moment, his entire demure changed into one of joy and acceptance. 

This left Li quite dumbfounded, what is this? 

The man who had a moment ago who looked exceptionally glooming and vehemently refused to accept this daughter in law suddenly accepts her? 

Li chuckled, shaking his head slightly at his father while the mother smiled from the side indulgently. 

"Son, tell me, what was it that hatched? Tell me, what does the future daughter in law like? What of her parents--aish! She is their treasure, she is held close to their hearts and that of her elder siblings that answer… eh... Son tell me, how did you get the future daughter in law to accept you? "His father, a man towering almost seven feet in height, held the hand of his son and asked in a soft tone which seemed quite disgusting to Li about his future daughter in law. 

Li wanted to reply earnestly but the madam spoke cause his mood to plument.
