First young master of the Leng family:

Leng Demarco Li,

"I miss holding you Blu, inhaling your scent.

I can't wait until you mature.

I will be one of your husbands." 

Li said softly inhaling the minty scent from her hair. 

Within their empire and the fourth, a woman having several husbands is accepted but the third to ranked first empires did not. 

Especially the second and first, the empire is ruled heavily by a patriarchal rule, women are to stay within the home and take care of the children and concubines, the women have limited freedom within those two empires especially in the first ranked empire, their rule states that a woman is not allowed to inherit the family or business, rather to be married out either to build relationships or simply give face. 

The second and first empire did not matter to him though so Li never paid them much heed focusing only on building relationships first with the fourth-ranked kingdom only breaking through last year and later using them as a stepping stone for the third. 

"I can not breathe," slackening his hold, Li took her to a nearby chair and sat placing her sideways on his knee. 

"Do you like my gifts?" 

"En, the quality of the items gifted are higher than those I have in stock. Young master Leng, I must trouble you in the future."

"There is no trouble," 

Li replied then broke out in a rare smile while staring at those lush lips. He struggled so hard not to lean forward and capture them or even allow his body to react. 

"Young master Leng, when I am ready I will take the initiative. For now, I must remind you that even though I am fifteen years of age it does not mean that I would indulge in acts above my age."

"I will not force you Blu, I have restrained myself for these years, I can wait a few more." 

"En, so long as you are aware of this and adhere to it." 

Though she said such things she still leaned forward and placed a kiss on his cheek before standing. 

That kiss seemed to have shocked Li, something deep within him awakened, countless emotions roared through his entire being. It was a simple peck on his cheek but it felt as if she had touched his soul and caressed his entire being. Li sat there frozen and stunned, struggling to process the emotions raging through him, he had been first attracted to the second daughter of the Jah family because she was unique; scoring full marks and requesting to be placed two grades higher than those her age. 

The other is, she had no innate power, a seemingly weak girl but when she laid her eyes on you it felt as if you were being weighed down by a mountain. Her bright blue gaze stared without any emotion, her face constantly unchanging. 

He became curious and therefore thought to see if he could somehow become closer with this small girl with sun kissed skin and gem-like eyes and blue hair. 

Every student possessed either black, brown or gold hair with the occasional silver or white but never blue. Even her siblings possessed blue hair, their hair was closer to black instead of such a… unique tone of blue. 

As time passed Li had sought to please her by gifting her an egg that had been kept in their family for countless generations without showing signs of hatching. It is said that this egg would only hatch once it found its owner and that owner if female will become the wife of the next patriarch, if male the eldest daughter. 

Who would have believed that the egg would really hatch and a creature that had become extinct back on earth due to climate change and over hunting had hatched? 

By then Li had confirmed once again that this small girl who piqued his interest should become his even if he had to share. 

Now. 

With the changes going on within him he felt that no matter what giving up on Jah Di'ordi is not an option, she had first taken his heart and now she claimed his soul, if he could not have her, then how will he be able to live from now on? 

"Blu, you are the first girl to ever kiss me. You must take me as your husband." 

"En, I will when I am mature." 

"En, I promise, but remember you might not be the only one." 

"As long as I am one of the main husbands it does not matter," 

"mm," 

With that being said he stood from where he sat and approached her once more embracing her in a hug then whispered in her ears; "Blu, this is a verbal contract: upon maturity, we will marry," 

"En," 

She said softly, Li released her and then walked towards the door. 

"Happy birth date Blu, I hope you enjoy my gifts and think of me. I will continue to court you from now on. My father will schedule a meeting with your parents at a later date to discuss our nuptials." 

With that being said, Li left with a smile. 

Downstairs, Li approached his father, an older version of himself and bidded farewell to the Jah parents before slipping into their customised hover vehicle. 

" You were absent for some time. The girl I have selected for you to marry was present, I had already spoken with her parents, why did you not answer your wrist comm?" 

Li said nothing for a time simply waiting for his father to continue, his mother was presently away on business but should be returning later tonight. 

Li thought it best to speak with both parents than simply one. 

" Father, let us wait until mother arrives to discuss this," 

"Unfilial! What son are you? You are the heir and my only legal born son with your mother! Is it my fault she refuses to give me more children?! I have only you as my eldest and only son borne from the legal wife, those others are not worthy!"
