We Are Destined - Let Me Pamper You

"YAAAAYYYYYYY! It's Friday."

"Not any ordinary Friday, but the last Friday of the month. YYYYIIPPPPPEEEEEEEE!"

Yuyu and Lan rushed into Xiu Mei's office, threw their school bags on the floor, tossed their little shoes in the air, opened the tight rubber bands off of their ponytails, and hoped on to the expensive leather couch….. danced like two tiny-tubbies, shaking their butts.

"YUYU, LAN!" Xiu Mei's loud voice pierced through the air, making them cover their s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e ears and stop their break-dance.

Xiu Mei looked at the mess created by her daughters. Four shoes in four different directions! What was going on their brains when they decided to do that!? To worse, one of them hit Xiu Mei's favorite 'Orange', who was standing in the corner, flashing a crying emoji.

Not to forget, he had a faint shoe print on his face!

Yuyu, "Momma, I swear it was not my shoe."

Lan, "I can swear too. It was not mine."

Xiu Mei, "So was it mine?"

Yuyu puckered her lips out, "Maybe."

"…."

The disadvantage of having twins who share everything other than u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r- it would forever be a mystery whose shoe was it.

A mystery that no one can solve.

"Your punishment is I'm not taking you out this weekend. Stay at home and do homework." Xiu Mei snorted and looked as the little one's eyes turned wide-eyed.

"Mommy!"

"Mommy!"

"No means no."

"But you promised Unky X to let us stay with him every last weekend of the month." Yuyu reminded Xiu Mei of the sacred promise she made to Xion, receiving a pat from Lan for the amazing counter-attack.

"I remember nothing like that." Xiu Mei answered, wiping Orange's face…. Oops! Screen! To which he showed a heart emoji.

Yuyu, "Mommy, you are a cheat."

Lan, "Yes, we need justice. I'll ask daddy to punish you."

Xiu Mei stood up and set her hands at her h.i.p.s, "Sweethearts, I'm your daddy's love. Are you sure he'd punish me? Forget about punishing, when was the last time you saw him raising his tone at me?"

Yuyu and Lan were left dumbfounded. Though Jianyu was a hen-pecked husband and father, when it comes to choosing between the two he always jumps on to Xiu Mei's side, leaving the daughters alone.

Thankfully, other family members had already switched their sides to them! Courtesy- their puppy eyes and honey trap!

Their attitude took a U-turn, and they hastily rushed to clean the mess- Shoes into the shoe bag, school bag on the shelf, rubber bands back into the hair, and they rubbed their palm on the couch to straighten the crease.

Xiu Mei leaned her h.i.p.s against the edge of the desk, "It will not work. My decision is final. You are staying at home."

The kids were still pondering on how to coax their mother when they saw Jianyu walking towards Xiu Mei's office through the glass corridor that attaches their offices. In an instant, tears burst forth like pearls rolling down the cheeks as they glance at the door, ready to show their father the moment he walks in.

The door opened and Jianyu swayed on his feet at the sight of his gorgeous, beautiful, and charming mother of his kids. His precious wife welcomed him with her smile.

She look stunning in red formal dress- perfect blend of beauty and brain. Paired with diamond earrings and bracelet of the same collection, and the signature double wedding rings he had proposed her with years back. The effect was lethal, burning with the love and d.e.s.i.r.e that had multiplied over the years.

Xiu Mei winked, understanding his intense gaze, "Hi, handsome."

He let out a breath, and bend to place his lips softly over hers, "Naughty Chipmunk! Stop looking this gorgeous, I just forgot my pickup line."

Yuyu and Lan looked at their parents and then at each other. They could swear Xiu Mei had winked at them teasingly.

Did Jianyu just ignore them? 

Forget above looking, he probably doesn't even know of their existence at the moment.

Lonely!

Jianyu's body twitched when two squishy things crashed into his legs. Breaking the kiss, he looked down and saw his daughters hugging his legs, showing their puppy eyes and lips jutted outward.

"Oh!" That's all Jianyu said after he heard their complaints, all pertaining to Xiu Mei. The two crafty girls were now sitting on his l.a.p as they narrated the story with added spices and vivid expressions.

They should consider a career in news anchoring or may be acting!

"Mei, that's unfair. It's a weekend! Let them go wherever they want to. I'm sure Junjie and Honey will take care of them. Don't be a bully mother." He glanced at Xiu Mei, and gave a mischievous smile, "In fact, it'll give us some time alone. I'll give you a 'workout' this weekend."

Xiu Mei cheeks turned red at his suggestive words, momentarily swaying into a spell of d.e.s.i.r.e, love, and l.u.s.t before she realized he was under the dilemma that Yuyu and Lan want to spend the weekend with Junjie and Honey.

Whereas the reality is…..

Hehehe! Devilish laugh!

The girls know the animosity of jealousy between X and him and deliberately omitted that information.

It will be fun!

"Okay,"

"Really? You accepted it? Just like that!?"

"Yup. Just like that! Am I right, Yuyu? Lan? Isn't your daddy the best? Let's see if he can keep the same expression."

Yuyu gulps.

Lan averted her eyes.

Without taking her eyes off of Jianyu, holding her smile, she called Xion, but the number was not reachable. Then she dialed Wu Zixin's number and got the same response. "X's number is out of reach. Looks like he's already on his way to pick them."

"Yessss!" the girls threw their fist into the air and jumped from Jianyu's l.a.p to pack things. Mission accomplished!

"Unky X is coming!"

"I love Unky X!"

However, Jianyu's smile faded, and he dragged them holding the back of the collars and squinted his eyes, "With whom are you planning to spend the weekend again?"
