We Are Destined - Let Me Pamper You

Perplexity.Shock. Disbelief. Kong Da didn't fail to amuse Xiu Mei with an array of expressions. How could this confident woman be Alice? XM is entirely different from Alice that he knew. She was just a weak, naïve and innocent girl with a handful of dreams. But XM is a woman of 21st century, confident, sharp, powerful, and commanding.

These two women are the exact opposite when it comes to their personalities.

"A-Alice!?"

"Alice?...  Alice died seven years back, UNCLE. The woman standing in front of you is X.M…. XM. Call me XM, UN.CLE" The way XM addresses him by emphasizing on the word Uncle, it seems more like a mockery or maybe a warning.

"Alice or XM, you both are the same. You b*…."

'Pak'

"Don't you know when two people are talking one should not interrupt in between. Looks like you are still the same mannerless girl, Liu. Don't tell me in all these years you haven't learned anything from your father?" Xiu Mei looked at Kong Da with a twisted face, "Oh….!I forgot! You both share the same genes. When your father has not learned it yet, how can he teach you?"

"You… How dare you slap me?" Kong Liu wanted to rub her cheek, but her pride was so big that she acted like it didn't hurt.

'Pak'

"Here's another demo"

This time Kong Liu's face was whipped to the side, she was forced to press the cheek that was burning in pain.

"Interrupt me again, more such demo will follow" Xiu Mei eyed Kong Liu for a second before bringing her attention back to Kong Da. "So where were we?.... ah…. I remember. ALICE… Your favorite niece, UNCLE"

Kong Da did not answer her, but his tight jaw and deathly glare showed how angry he was. "You did all this to take revenge" He stated, his voice cold but it didn't affect Xiu Mei. If this was old Alice, she would have run away to hide under the bed to escape his beating.

"No…. To destroy you" Xiu Mei answered coolly.

"You think it's that easy to destroy me? Does it look like that this small game of yours and Infinity Software's secret could destroy a power like me?" Kong Da jeered at Xiu Mei, " Alice…. Alice…. Alice… I thought you have grown some brains after becoming XM, but it looks like you are the same old stupid Alice. Silly woman, I'm Kong Da. No one can do anything against me otherwise..."

"Otherwise you will repeat what you did with Uncle Xavier. Right?" Xiu Mei casually strolled to the nearest chair, turned it towards Kong Da before she sat down on it. She crossed her legs and rested an elbow on the armrest.

To others, it looks like a queen confronting the accused by playing with them and soon she is going to announce the death sentence.

[Three dirty mice, three dirty mice]

[They hurt my little princes]

[I'll cut off their tails, with a carving knife]

A man entered the room, singing the nursery rhyme 'Three blind mice' [1] in a completely different and creepy version, making one feel a rush of goosebumps.

He was closely followed by a young man and a group of doctors and nurses.

The ugly mark on the left side of his face makes him look scary but the pained look in his eyes and the way he was holding a ragged doll tied up in metal wires, attracted everyone's attention.

This man has a story….

Xiu Mei smiled softly, the tenderness in her eyes resembles that of a daughter. Unlike last time, today Xavier was wearing a clean set of clothes, hair and nail properly trimmed and his long bushy beard was replaced by French beard, just how it used to be.

However, looking at the old ragged doll she felt something heavy pressing against the c.h.e.s.t and averted her eyes from it.

[As three dirty mice, as three dirty…..]

The nursery rhyme stopped abruptly when Xavier saw Kong Da and Kong Wei.

Memories flooded back, emotions rushed through him, Rose's piercing shrieks echoed in his ear, Martha and Rose's lifeless body, everything awakened his conscious for once…..

"AHHHHHHH... TWO DIRTY MICE….." Xavier roared his face turned red with uncontrollable rage.

He instantly unbuttoned two buttons of his shirt and hides the doll inside. There's no way he was going to let them harm his little princess again.

His c.h.e.s.t heaved in anger, nostrils flared, his eyes scanned the tables as if looking for something, maybe a sharp object to kill.

He didn't find any….

A father's revenge doesn't need a weapon….

"YOU HURT MY LITTLE PRINCESS" Without any weapon he charged at them, pointing fingers like a claw. However, Kong Da was already prepared.

Kong Da raised his walking stick….

'PAK'

Out of nowhere a hard slap landed on his face before he could hit Xavier. The slap was so hard that for a good thirty seconds his ear buzzed. He was forced to take a few steps backward to stabilize, his nether region hurt due to sudden movements.

Feng Jianyu was shocked by the force with which the slap landed on Kong Da's face. He looked at Xiu Mei's hand in worry. The slap was so hard her palm must be stinging in pain.

Kong Da jerked his head a few times to regain his senses.

Xavier looked at Xiu Mei with complicated look in his eyes.

She smiled, "No one will hurt you, do whatever you want" without breaking the eye contact with Xavier she ordered her bodyguard, "Yeti if anyone from Kong family dared to touch Uncle Xavier. Next slap should come from you"

Yeti nodded and cracked his knuckles, scaring the hell out of Kongs. The strength behind Yeti's slap can only be imagined, even a buildup man like Kong Wei won't be able to handle forget about the old man Kong Da.

"Here, use this stick" Xiu Mei handed Kong Da's stick to Xavier that he took, showing a dangerous happy smile as his eyes popped out at the weapon he failed to find earlier.

Kong Liu instantly left the group and scurried to the corner. She has already received a fair share of slaps; this stick entirely belongs to her father and brother.

Kong Da and Kong Wei were so shocked by Alice's ruthlessness that they did not register Xavier approaching them.

'STARS'

That's what Kong Da and Kong Wei saw in broad day light….
