We Are Destined - Let Me Pamper You

Xiu Mei stepped back on stage, ready to demonstrate second product, "Alright everyone! Back to the second invention. It's a completely new product yet something that was discovered in the year 1895"

She saw everyone's shocked faces and smiled, "Yes, I'm talking about the X-Ray machine. I'm assuming everyone is aware of its functioning and purpose. So I won't waste your time to explain that"

Again everyone looked at her curiously but after seeing the potential of first product nobody dares to doubt at her capability.

Although she kept the products a surprise for Feng Jianyu too, he was calm and composed, completely confident that this new product would be as rocking as the first one. On the other hand, Feng Junjie looked at Wang Shi seeking explanation, but the later winked before bringing his attention back to Xiu Mei's presentation.

Xiu Mei continued, "According to the data we collect from hospitals it came to our knowledge that on an average it takes fifteen x-rays to scan the full body of a victim. Again a time-consuming process! Just imagine a victim with multiple fractures being scanned one by one instead of getting immediate treatment. So we worked on this new X-Ray machine to scan the full body of a victim in exact TEN SECONDS. This machine can be installed in emergency or trauma units to get immediate scans and facilitate doctors to start the treatment ASAP"

Everyone anticipated for another mind-blowing demonstration as they looked back at the table. The most eye-catching big machine hidden under white cloth has raised everyone's curiosity.

Keeping up with the expectations Xiu Mei stepped down once more and pulled the cloth off of the machine.

People gasped looking at the extraordinary design of the machine and talked among their group, looking at the details in the file.

Xiu Mei looked at the crowd sharply, her feisty aura retained, "The file containing details of the product are for you to keep. I hope everyone would pay attention to the real demonstration because that's not written on those papers" A burst of laughter echoed in the big hall as delegates closed the file and looked back at her"

"Thank you for your attention! Here I present a mini version of the machine. However, the specifications of the actual product are mentioned on the slide as well as in the file on your table"

Again a man entered the venue with a box containing a living a.d.u.l.t rabbit. Xiu Mei carefully picked the frightened animal and stroked a soft hand over his fur to calm him down. As if the animal was aware of the touch he stopped struggling.

Xiu Mei placed him on the table and covered him with a protection jacket against radiation. She gently put him on the stretcher set inside the machine and secured the position by tieing with bands on each side of the stretcher.

10…9…8…7…6...2….1…

On the countdown of ten a detailed bone structure of rabbit appeared on the screen. Many delegates were surprised but rivals looked it as an opportunity to mock Phoenix Enterprises on International platform.

"What are you trying to say by scanning a rabbit in this mini machine? It's no big deal for something as small as rabbit"

"I agree! Scanning a real accident victim is different than scanning a rabbit. How can we believe it will work as smoothly on humans too?"

"I don't agree with this. We want to see the actual product, not a mini version"

"I doubt this product"

"This is rubbish! You are scamming"

She heard all the points with a calm demeanor as if already aware and prepared to solve it when the problem arises.

"Silence!" She uttered. Her sweet yet commanding voice had earned a pin drop silence as well as many raised eyebrows. What else now? How will she come out of this?

"Did I say I'm over with my presentation? No. I can't believe that some of you could be so unfair that you won't even allow me to complete the presentation and judge the product before that. Did I interrupt in anyone's presentation? I don't think so! Then can't you be patient enough to hear me silently? Why can't I be given the same opportunity?"

She looked around at the tables from where she was openly objected and sends a direct warning, "Beware! Phoenix Enterprises has always believed in healthy competition but that does not mean we'll tolerate any malicious activities against us. Don't force us to be ruthless. Because trust me, our reserved products are more than enough to wipe out useless companies out of the market within a week. I hope instead of pointing at other company's faults you would try to improve your own faulty products"

Silence….

Applause sounded from Mr. Qiao's table first, followed by all the delegates joining them in praising the woman who knows how to stand for herself and for her company. A gentleman got up from Mr. Qiao's table holding a bottle of mineral water as he unscrew it and offered to the lady.

"Thank you!" Xiu Mei took the bottle with a smile and drank all of it, her throat was parched after speaking so much.

"Now let's continue with the presentation," She said, placing the empty bottle at the table and picked the remote control to operate the slides. Being the professional, she did not looked at Feng Jianyu's table for once during her presentation; afraid she might lose concentration. All the time her attention was on the rest of the delegates. 

"This machine is just for the demonstration to show the actual design and it's working. However, as objected by some of my FRIENDS, we were aware that this demonstration would be questioned. In order to avoid that, we tested this machine in twenty-five hospitals of different countries and allowed them to use it free of cost for one month and share their experience" With a click of a button, small videos of various trauma and emergency centers started streaming. What Xiu Mei had said till now was live on screen with actual accident victims, real hospitals and doctors.
