"B-Brother Jianyu" Kong Liu tried to come closer to Feng Jianyu and touch him but the later stepped back along with Xiu Mei. "Miss. Kong….." He warned, coldness lacing his voice. "Don't you dare come closer. I won't be polite"

Kong Liu's eyes widened in shock when she heard Feng Jianyu's words. However, she was more shocked upon seeing him holding the masked woman so protectively. Why? Why was she getting this treatment and not her? What specialty does she have that she gained Feng Jianyu's attention to this extent?

"B-Brother Jianyu I-I…." Words refused to come out from her mouth.

"Miss. Kong" He paused for a second and looked at Xiu Mei's tired face, she was exhausted by now and obviously wants to go from there ASAP. Supporting her body weight by holding her waist he narrowed his eyes at Kong Liu. "You tried to mess with my woman at my own hotel. Who do you think you are? What IDENTITY do you have to create a scene at my hotel?" He looked at Feng Junjie, "Entire Kong family, including these two women, are banned from using services of this place. Make sure I never see them again here"

When he used the word Identity Xiu Mei looked at him with complicated emotions. Kong's always mocked her for her unknown identity and today they really don't hold any identity if compared to her. She created an identity for herself with hard work and her man just announced it indirectly.

Throwing his words at Feng Junjie, Feng Jianyu left for his penthouse. On the way back he was still holding her close, his body as stiff as rock. Xiu Mei placed her hand on his heart, "Relax! Why are you so tensed? Nothing happened….. Ahh!" She yelped when he picked her up abruptly, her hands automatically snacked around his neck.

"Leaving you alone in the company of someone from Kong family makes me uncomfortable" Xiu Mei pressed her two fingers on Feng Jianyu's forehead to straighten the frown lines. "My worrywart husband, how many times do I have to remind you? I'm not Alice but Xiu Mei. They can't bully me anymore"

"Yaaa… They are the ones who turned you from Alice to Xiu Mei"

"Oh! So you prefer Alice over Xiu Mei?"

"No! I just prefer my adorable wife over anyone"

Xiu Mei giggled at his response, her hands automatically went to pinch his cheeks, "Awww… my cute monster. How can you be such a cutie pie? I'll eat you up" Feng Jianyu raised his brows at her, "Let the time come, we will see who eats whom. But for now, punch in the password"

"Cough… yes"

She punched in the password to enter the penthouse and he takes her straight to the bathroom. "Time to bath chipmunk"

Xiu Mei "…."

"Ummm… Okay! Step out. I'll do this myself"

Two hours later Xiu Mei dragged her body out of the bathroom and went straight to bed. "Monster! You are not bathing with me again" She yelled pulling the blanket, hiding inside it.

Still wrapped in the blanket from head to toe, she was roaming her hands everywhere on the bed, under the mattress, in the corners, behind the pillow but failed to find the important thing she left on the bed before leaving for the meeting.

"Chipmunk! What are you looking for?"

"Ahhh!" She screamed and sat down straight when Jianyu came out of nowhere and scared her. "Jianyu… I survived a heart-attack just now. Don't scare me like this again" The man gave a wide grin and offered his t-shirt to her, "Wifey, you can wear this. My old t-shirt is in the laundry, you won't find it here"

Xiu Mei looked at the neatly ironed t-shirt and scrunched her nose. She likes to wear clothes that have Jianyu's fragrance on it but this t-shirt is newly washed.

"Perhaps you want this" He waved his used t-shirt that he wore this morning for an hour so that Xiu Mei can wear this at night. As expected she took it instantly and wore it as if it belongs to her. With an inadvertent smile, she hides again inside the blanket followed by Jianyu who instantly scooped her in his arms to kiss her to his heart's content. "Ahh! How can you taste so sweet? Too irresistible"

"Go away"

"No"

"Monster you already did so much in bathroom"

"But baby that was our half s.e.x and we barely did two rounds. Right now I want to enjoy my favorite flavour"

"I WANT TO SLEEP"

The next morning

Last night Wang Shi cannot check Xiu Mei's wounds so he came early in the morning to see if it's the right time to remove her stitches and simultaneously have breakfast with his brothers. But the moment Feng Jianyu brought him to his bedroom, Xiu Mei climbed on the bed and cover herself from head to toe.

"No! Go away! Let me be"

Wang Shi "…."

Feng Jianyu saw the curled figure in the corner of the bed, shivering and instantly ran towards her. By now he understood the reason behind her fears and why she freaks out upon facing something similar.

"What happened, love?" He asked softly, throwing his hands over the blanket and resting his face over her.

"I know why Dr. Wang is here. It will hurt" His heart became a mushy mess upon hearing the meek voice under the blanket. He didn't dare to pull the blanket and gently c.a.r.e.s.sed her above it. "No love. It won't hurt even a tiny bit. Don't you trust Wang Shi?"

"I do. But this time my wounds were deep. I'm sure it will hurt like….. I'm sure it will hurt" She instantly changed her sentence but it didn't go unnoticed from Feng Jianyu and Wang Shi who knows everything.
