We Are Destined - Let Me Pamper You

Feng Jianyu, Lu Xion and Wang Shi did not say anything all this while but understood where the story was going. Everybody froze when they heard Xiu Mei's question as if blood had been s.u.c.k.e.d out from their body.

Joseph's eyes turned red as he turned to look outside the small mesh window.

"That night… Kong's crossed every limit to ruin Rose's innocence. When those three Kong's were done playing with her, they send their men to take turns and trample over her again and again until she was nothing but a lump of flesh. All this happened right in front of Uncle Xavier and Aunty Martha as they heard their daughter's painful screams until everything stopped one day"

"You know what was more painful in all this?" He questioned Xiu Mei as she looked at him all mute, "On watching Rose suffer like this, Aunty Martha and Uncle Xavier begged Kong's to kill her. Can you feel their pain? How scary it is for parents to see their daughter die in front of them?"

He took a deep breath, "I searched all possible places to look for my family, tried to take police's help but everyone was scared of Kong's. No one helped me; even my friends turned their backs. But I think a little humanity was left and a man came forward to help me" Joseph got up from the chair and picked the doll and tried to clean her with the hem of his shirt.

Surprisingly that man was aware of all the properties owned by Kong's. He took me to all those locations one by one until I found my family in a house near old mines" He recalled what he saw when he entered inside the house.

By the time Joseph found them, three weeks had passed since Xavier and his family was brought here.

After getting the d.e.s.i.r.ed information that Alice boarded the ship that was supposed to cross multiple countries, Kong Da send his men to get her disembarkment details from the captain of the ship, leaving the poor couple alone with their daughter.

Kong Da let go of the couple out of mercy and left them alone in the house along with their lifeless daughter.

When Joseph peeped through the window he found them inside. At last, after searching for so long, he found his family…

But what he saw after entering inside was enough to shake the ground beneath his feet. Rose lay dead on the floor, n.a.k.e.d, covered in her own blood that had dried and turned black.

Instinctively he averted his eyes from his sister's n.a.k.e.d body and took off his coat to cover her. His body shook looking at the bloody scene as he hold his head and sat down not too far from the couple.

Rose's body had started to decompose as the foul stench lingered in the air. Joseph looked at his sister's face and realized the depth of horrible torture she received all this while. He dragged his body ahead and ran his hand on her face to close the open eyes.

He could not gather enough courage to speak a word to his uncle and aunt, who were equally lifeless like Rose.

Resting her daughter's head on her l.a.p, Martha softly c.a.r.e.s.sed Rose, singing a lullaby for her in soft and broken voice while Xavier held her hand against his cheek, looking at her with a fatherly gaze.

The scene was so painful and emotional that even rocks could stir up feeling the agony of parents for their dead daughter.

With the help of the man that helped Joseph all this while, he got up to cremate Rose's body, much to the dismay of Aunty Martha, who refused and hugged Rose in her arms protectively, refusing to part with her.

"Enough…. We don't want to hear any more" Feng Jianyu stopped Joseph from speaking any further. He understood his motive of narrating the story in detail. His sole purpose is to make Xiu Mei be held responsible for whatever happened with Rose, Martha, and Xavier. He was deliberately punishing her for the crime she never did.

Ignoring Feng Jianyu Joseph looked at Xiu Mei coldly, "Aunty Martha died holding Rose in her arms. I myself cremated both of them in a single grave with no intention of separating them even after death"

"I SAID STOP IT" Feng Jianyu snarled and gestured Lu Xion to stop this man before it's too late while he himself tried to hide Xiu Mei in his c.h.e.s.t and cover her ears

"Let him speak" When Yeti tried to move forward on getting Lu Xion's order Xiu Mei stopped everyone from touching Joseph.

Joseph gave a smug look to the two men who were desperately trying to protect Xiu Mei. There was deep acrimony at the bottom of his eyes.

"Continue" 

"There's nothing to continue. You are intelligent enough to understand what happened to Uncle Xavier after that." An air of melancholy surrounded him "While trying to get justice for my family, I realized how helpless I'm in front of Kong's immense power. Kong Wen shamelessly accepted all the accusations in front of police and gloated about the incidence proudly, but instead of taking him in custody they laughed on it like a joke"

"With Uncle Xavier's deteriorating health and lack of money, I left the South City with the help of that man who helped me earlier and relocated to North City" He gave a self-deprecating smile, "Condition in North City was not optimistic either but at least Kong's were not here to remind us of the atrocities they committed"

Joseph got up to place the doll in Xavier's trunk as that was the first place where he will look for it upon waking up. "I wish Uncle Xavier never helped you that night. I REALLY WISH… IT WAS YOU WHO SUFFERED ALL THAT INSTEAD OF MY ROSE" His voice rose few decibels as he gave an accusing look to Xiu Mei.
