We Are Destined - Let Me Pamper You

While heading towards the kitchen Feng Jianyu crossed outside Ghost's room and heard low grunting sound. His curiosity got the best of him and he knocked on the door before entering inside.

There he saw Ghost struggling on the bed to get up. He was lying on his front because his back was severely injured because of the explosion. Probably the anesthetic has worn off and his wounds have started to hurt.

"Don't move. Your wounds will reopen Mr. Ghost" Feng Jianyu quickly held him down. "If you need anything I'll get it for you. Do you need water?"

"That g-girl!? H-How is she?"

Jianyu was surprised that the first thing this man asked after waking up was to know about Xiu Mei's condition. Why?

Although Xiu Mei has not told him anything about those four days, the way she reacted for this man yesterday proves his value for her. Knowing her nature he must have done something special to gain her attention.

"She's absolutely fine and currently resting in her room" He answered sincerely, "And before you ask, those two dogs are also safe"

Ghost sighed in relief. He wanted to see Xiu Mei once, but what right does he have to demand such a thing. "I'm happy she's fine. A-Are you the man she was searching?"

"I am!" Feng Jianyu grabbed the glass of water and kneeled down to help him drink it by straw, "I'm placing your PCA[1] pump right by your side. If you feel any pain just press this red button for the automatic…."

"I-I know what PCA pump is. Thank you" He said roughly but Feng Jianyu doesn't mind his behavior and instead drew the blanket above him gently. "Mr. Ghost, I don't have correct words to say thank you to you. But if you have any requests in the future please feel free to ask. I'll try to fulfill them at my best"

Feng Jianyu was about to leave the room when Ghost interrupted. "A-Actually I do have a request"

"Please tell me!" 

"C-Can I see her once before leaving?" He blurted out his thoughts but later regretted it, "Actually leave it! It's not a compulsion… I-I just asked it. Don't mind me"

"Of course you can meet her" Jianyu didn't object but later added a sentence in a firm tone, "But you are not allowed to leave. At least not until your second surgery is done and doctors declare you fit. Before that, don't even think of leaving"

Feng Jianyu didn't give him an option to speak or retort and walked out of there. He is aware Xiu Mei will feel bad if she comes to know how badly Ghost got injured while saving her life. And she will feel worse if anything wrong happened to him. How can he let her feel bad? Thus Feng Jianyu won't allow Ghost to leave until he is perfectly fit.

Holding the tray of food Feng Jianyu enters inside the room and not so surprisingly she vanished….

Feng Jianyu "…"

'Dang it! She is literally a chipmunk. In this condition also she wants to do salsa over my head'

"MEI! Where the hell are you?"

In the bathroom, Xiu Mei heard him shouting and panicked, "Oh No! Monster is back. He is mad at me"

He heard some noise from the bathroom and runs to check, afraid how she would manage with stitches on her leg. At the same time, she stumbled while stepping out of the shower to grab the towel to cover her n.a.k.e.d body and fell down on her wrist.

When Feng Jianyu entered he saw her falling in front of his eyes.

Feng Jianyu "…."

She is n.a.k.e.d!!

He was too quiet. It was as if he had been struck by lightning.

Xiu Mei's heart trembled violently. She looked at the towel but why does it suddenly seem miles away? Her cheeks flushed red as she covered her b.r.e.a.s.ts instinctively and flashed a nervous smile. "Jianyu…."

He gulped hard. His mind broke out of daze as soon as he heard her soft voice. Like a robot, without giving any expression he picked her up to carry back to the bedroom.

She shuddered at his touch, her cheeks growing redder on feeling his calloused fingers on her skin. She darted her eyes at his Adam's apple and saw it blob many times while taking her back to the room. Her gaze refused to look into his eyes when she sensed how stiff his body is.

Suddenly she realized something, 'Oh no! Why am I hiding my b.r.e.a.s.t? I have got a more important area to cover' her hands went to the south to cover the forbidden zone but then she felt n.a.k.e.d in the north zone.

'What type of dilemma is this? God should have given me an extra pair of hands' she cried inwardly.

But it was too late, he saw everything. He saw her in her birth suit…. Her blush traveled all the way to neck and she buried her head into his shirt.

On the other hand, Feng Jianyu was only concerned about her wounds; he was worried that they might have reopened because of the fall.

He placed her gently on the bed and picked the satellite device to wake up everybody. "I'll inform the doctors to take you back to the emergency. That was a serious fall"

Xiu Mei "…"

'Serious fall!? I didn't fall from Eiffel Tower but hardly slipped in the bathroom' her mouth twitched.

"No, I'm fine…..Achoo!" Xiu Mei rubbed her nose and sniffed. In the next second his brow furrowed deeply as he instinctively threw the device on the bed before drewing the blanket to wrap her tightly in it. "Silly! Who told you to bath in the middle of the night? Do you want to be sicker than you are now? Before leaving I clearly warned you not to get down from the bed then why did you do that? I can see you are getting braver with me ah!"
