Feeling uncomfortable by two pillows supporting her back, Xiu Mei pulled out a pillow and hugged her closely, before rubbing her chin on it. A pleasant smile crawled on her lips when she smelled a faint fragrance of Feng Jianyu on it. Nothing else can calm her frantic mind so easily except her husband's fragrance. She deliberately held the pillow near her nose to smell it again and again and closed her eyes for a moment to relish it.

"What are you smiling at?" She regained her consciousness hearing Lu Xion's voice and rubbed her nose in embarrassment. "Er… Nothing"

"Why none of you talked about my father? Had my mother mentioned anything about him in that voice mail?" She asked, hiding her nose with the pillow to take in Jianyu's fragrance.

"Nuh huh! It's nothing mentioned about your father in voice mail. Neither we know anything about him. His identity is only known to your mother"

Xiu Mei nodded her head at Lu Xion's words but her gaze was unfathomable, looking down at the floor in one direction, thinking deeply. This is the breakthrough in her search of her family. All these years, in the name of a clue she only knows the story narrated to her by Butler Xavier and whatever she had read in Kong Zhi's journal. But today she finally has several clues to begin her search with.

"X, handover every information you have about mom. Including that voice mail, which countries your team have searched, and yes… I-I want her photographs" Thinking about her mother's pictures an inadvertent smile appeared on her lips that reached her eyes.

When Xion noticed her smile he chuckled and rubbed her hair like a pet. "I'll do that. In fact, I'll send you a copy of Aunty Ruo's all the photographs from her childhood to a.d.u.l.thood" Her eyes brightened up and she nodded continuously.

Lu Xion got up from his seat and stepped aside allowing the doctor to examine her. "X, I'm fine here. Please check on Mr. Zeng" Without objecting further, he stepped out of the room, knowing she must be feeling uncomfortable in someone else' presence while check-up.

"Where is he?" Xiu Mei asked Wang Shi.

"Who?" Wang Shi asked taking her pulse.

"IRON MAN"

"What? Don't give me this look. You started first" She shrugged her shoulder innocently.

"Mei, you better keep that monster tied up with you. He's harassing my hospital staff by nit-picking over tiny things" Wang Shi gave an annoyed look and Xiu Mei giggled imagining Jianyu creating the unnecessary havoc in the hospital.

Suddenly an idea popped up in Wang Shi's mind to even out his score with this monster brother. He gently peeled off the intravenous bandage from her hand to reveal the truth.

Last night Feng Jianyu brought Xiu Mei to the hospital and ordered Wang Shi to admit her in the VIP ward of the hospital just beside Mr. Zeng Shihong's room and explained his entire plan. Although Lu Xion had already booked the entire floor for his grandpa, Wang Shi reluctantly made some adjustments to accommodate to his brother's demands.

But this possessive brute refused the idea of poking his woman's hand with needles unnecessarily, even if it was just an intravenous needle to make the plan look real. "Er…. No No, it was inside. Y-You didn't notice while I took it out" Just like Feng Jianyu, Wang Shi started his acting skills to make it look like as if he is trying to hide something. Xiu Mei looked at him sharply, picked her phone and gave a devilish smile, "You have five minutes to reveal everything. Otherwise, I will do something you are surely gonna regret it" playing with her phone she warned poor Wang Shi.

"Mei, listen i…."

"4 minutes"

"3 minutes"
