Xiu Mei wanted to pour herself a glass of wine to cover her nervousness but he didn't allow her to do so and took the bottle away from her hands. She pouted, keeping her gaze stick to the wine bottle. "Jianyu…."

"Promise me you won't drink more than a quarter glass"

"A quarter glass is too less. Make it three"

"Then no wine. Neither I nor you." Jianyu puts the bottle on the floor near his foot to keep it out of reach and she w.h.i.n.ed. "Jianyu what's the dinner date without wine! Don't be a bully"

Feng Jianyu chuckled and picked the bottle up from the floor and dangle it in front of her like a carrot. She licked her lips looking at the wine bottle. Feng Jianyu's face darkened looking at her moistened red lips. "Don't lick your lips. That's my job"

The blush threatened to crawl back when she was suddenly remembered of the kiss but she pushed it down and gave a threatening look. "Shameless!"

"Really? Saying who bite me like a hungry wolf just a while ago. Look your teeth marks are still there." He pointed his fingers to his lower lips and Xiu Mei saw the teeth marks. Indeed she had taken a good bite of his lips. "Later apply medicine on it, okay?" He winked.

"Shut up! You are saying as if I'm a wild animal and it might get infected"

"Aren't you my chipmunk? And your sharp canines are really dangerous" He reminded her of her nickname with which he calls her affectionately and she smartly retorted. "Don't worry. I'll ask Dr. Wang to DART a TT injection on your A.S.S."

Dr. Wang Shi told her once that Jianyu is most scared of injections. But he never admits it, as it is against the image of ruthless CEO Feng Jianyu.

Both sat in silence for a minute, staring into each other's eyes. But thinking of their everlasting banter they started laughing simultaneously. No one among them ever backs down from bantering.

When Xiu Mei saw he was pouring a glass of wine, she gave her signature smile showing her pearl white teeth and dimples. To her disappointment, he only poured half a glass of wine. "Cherish it! You won't be getting any more" His tone was stern, receiving a pout from her in response.

"Fine!"

Feng Jianyu served the food, but she was surprised when he only serves himself and forgot about placing the food on her plate. She took a breath of disappointment. 'Guess, I have to do it myself. BOORISH' But before her finger could even touch the chopsticks he took it away from her hands and placed it on the side.

She looked at him with a confused gaze when he pulled his chair closer to hers. Her gaze followed his every move as he settles down and picked some of his favorite dishes and some healthy vegetables. She understood his intentions and smiled feeling content. 'Nuh Huh! NOT BOORISH. This monster is super cute. I'll gobble him up someday'

She frowned at her own thought and the l.e.w.d meaning behind it. 'Gosh, Mei! How can you think of something like this? What gobble up? Are you a pervert?' Chucking the thought she concentrated back on him.

Feng Jianyu was aware that she was staring at him all this while. He felt happy by her undisputed attention. He picked up the chopsticks and looked at her. "Love I know I'm handsome but if you are done eating me with your eyes then let's eat some food for our hungry stomach. Aren't you famished now? Later you can continue…."

"Cough…. Cough….Yes… Aaaaaa" Xiu Mei cheekily leaned forward and opened her mouth, gesturing him to start feeding her." He picked the portion of food and feed it to her. Like a lazy kitten who was being fed by her master, holding a glass of red wine she cherishes it sip by sip while he first feeds her and then took a bite too with the same chopsticks.

"Jianyu…." As the wine kicked in her system, her words started getting bolder and bolder. "Jianyu…"

"Hm!"

"Jianyu…"

"I'm listening, Mei. What is it?"

"Jianyu…."

"Tsk… Mei? Stop chanting my name. Say what you want to say"

"Nothing… I just love you…" The piece of peeled prawn which he had brought closer to her mouth dropped down on the table hearing her words. He looked at her in disbelief. To make sure he didn't hear it wrong, he asked again, "Mei what did you said just now? Confirm it once more"

Xiu Mei nodded happily, "I said… I just love you CALLING JIANYU. Such a beautiful name it is. Like a king's name. Right?"

'SPLASH' He felt as though someone has splashed a bucket of cold water over him. How disappointing! He facepalmed himself. She took him to the heights of happiness and then mercilessly pushed him off the cliff. "Such a tease you are Mei"

"That I am!" She cheekily smiled.

Both concentrated on their dinner silently, enjoying each other's company, making new memories to cherish them forever. It continued until Xiu Mei pulled herself away from the food, "No more! I'm full"

"Just a few more bites" She shook her head and looked down at her tummy that was slightly bulging. "No space left inside my tummy. One more bite and it will burst for sure" He chuckles at her comment and puts down the chopsticks and passed her the napkin to wipe her mouth.

"So madam Xiu Mei, what did you said just now? Do you love my name? Right?"

"Yes!"

"Only my name?" He raised his right brow in question and she acted ignorantly and nodded her head.

"Yes! Only your name!"

"I'm giving you one more opportunity to think about it through and through. If I'm not satisfied with your answer, then..." He elegantly wiped his hands with the towel and looked at her with narrowed eyes.

"Then what?"
