Yue Yun came over and she carried the boy in her arms as they moved to his room. Athena, Yue Jing, and Jenny followed the two in silence. Yue Jing asked, "Granny Yun, Dao used his skills once in the trial and that display was nothing compared to what you saw just now. However, he did not fall asleep then. Why now?"

Yue Yun replied, "Young Miss, your question is your answer." her tone was calm and respectful.

Yue Jing was surprised and Jenny patted her shoulder as the latter said, "You are now the young matriarch of the Yue Overlord, child. Do not be so surprised."

His voice was not loud but it was clear enough to be heard around the hall. The elders saw this and Yue Lei Wang asked, "Choose your Penance."

Yue Ming took a step forward and bowed his body and said, "Whatever method the family decides is my choice."

The elders exchanged glances and nodded, this was how someone should accept their crimes. Since they do not hesitate while committing the crimes why shall they be hesitant for punishments? What they did not know was that Yang Dao had told Yue Ming, about how he had placed a special wisp of spirit energy inside the heart of the boy.
