The Rich Ex-Husband Cries and Begs to Remarry

Qin Yu momentarily froze. Trying to play it cool, he helped Ruan Tian up with a calm look plastered on his face and took her out of the noisy box.

Although his excellent self-control kept his face calm, his heart was already surging with waves. 

Qin Yu had almost thought that he would never have the chance to hear the word “love” from Ruan Tian’s lips his whole life. So when he suddenly heard it just now, he was immediately thrown into a state of shock, afraid that maybe it had been his own illusion or that he had heard wrong. 

Qin Yu didn’t bother to ask and just directly took Ruan Tian back to the old Qin estate and settled her in his bedroom. 

After settling her down on the bed, Qin Yu stood silently by the bedside and stared at her face until his eyes began to burn from the exhaustion of being kept open for so long. Finally, he blinked and turned to leave to the bathroom in order to wash up.

Once he finished washing up and returned to the room, he pondered for less than half a second, then lay quietly by Ruan Tian’s side.

Around 9:00 a.m. the next day, Ruan Tian gradually woke up.

She immediately noticed that there was a pair of palms that did not belong to her resting on her waist. She looked around and found that the man in front of her was lazily hugging her waist, firmly wrapping her in his arms. 

Ruan Tian tried to struggle, but the man shifted slightly and her small movements were quickly pressed down.

If Qin Yu didn’t clearly have his eyes closed, Ruan Tian would really have suspected that he was doing it on purpose.

In fact, last night, she had only been slightly tipsy, not truly drunk.

She could still remember everything that had happened as well as the words she had said.

Ruan Tian looked blankly at the ceiling and let out a long sigh. After waiting for a few minutes, she began to try to get out of bed again.

But as she began to fidget around, Qin Yu’s brows furrowed and, his low and hoarse voice somewhat muddled with sleep, he said, “Just get some more sleep…”

Qin Yu’s eyelids slowly raised and his arms, which had been tightly wrapped around Ruan Tian, loosened up a little. He murmured, “Then get up.”

As soon as Ruan Tian stood up, Qin Yu also slowly sat up in the bed. He leaned back against the pillows a said with a leisurely smile, “You don’t even want to ask about what happened last night?” 

Ruan Tian turned around with a speechless expression: “I only drank too much. It’s not like I have amnesia.”

Qin Yu gave a pretentious nod, then opened his mouth to say, “Then it seems you still remember the part where you stripped off all my clothes and begged me not to leave the bed?”

Ruan Tian: “? ? ?”

She said angrily, “Who are you trying to convince with your nonsense?”

Qin Yu realized that he couldn’t scare her or bluff her, so he felt it wasn’t interesting anymore and dropped the topic. 

After standing up and getting dressed in front of her, Qin Yu turned to face Ruan Tian. His black eyes bored into hers, and he asked seriously, “Then, do you remember what you said last night?”

Hearing this question, Ruan Tian fell silent for a long moment. 

Finally, she said, “I remember.”

Qin Yu’s fingers which were still tying his tie froze, but he still said in a calm voice,”Well? Why don’t you say it again?” 

Ruan Tian said, “Don’t try to take a mile after getting an inch…”

After throwing out these words, Ruan Tian quickly ran downstairs. When she reached, her face was crimson red. 

Qin An, who was sitting in the dining room having breakfast, was surprised and wondered what was wrong with this woman. He took a big bite of the bread and asked, “Do you think this is a place for you to do your morning exercises? Running around so fast…”

Wait, what? Qin An froze. 

He suddenly looked over and asked, “Wait, what are you doing in my house? Fu*k, did you spend the night here last night?”

Ruan Tian replied brazenly, “Is today the first day that I’ve spent the night in your house? There’s no need to make such a big fuss.”

Hearing that, Qin An seemed to think of some things, and he didn’t ask any more questions.

After having a quick breakfast, Ruan Tian stood up and planned to go home.

However, who knew that late last night, the capital had experienced the worst snow storm in the past decade? It was already morning and the snow was still coming down outside.

More importantly to Ruan Tian, cars couldn’t drive on the road at all.
