It all began with Jaina.

After becoming the bridge between the Horde and the Alliance, Jaina invited both parties to sign a peace treaty, King Varian was one of the participants. Hence, King Varian became a thorn in the flesh of the Lady of the Black Dragonflight, who intended to intervene in the negotiation between the Horde and the Alliance.

Through her schemes, King Varian was kidnapped and split into two. The kind and weak Varian returned to Stormwind City to remain as the king, but was bewitched, whereas the brave and fearless Varian ended up being swept away to the shores of Durator, and was going to become a crocolisk’s dinner.

Rehgar Earthfury, an extremely powerful Orc Warrior[1], witnessed King Varian killing the crocolisk. Shocked by King Varian’s bravery, Rehgar brought him back to his arena, and put him together with two slaves, forming a 3v3 team.

Varian killed an Orc Blademaster easily, and became Rehgar’s treasure. He was also called “Lo’Gosh”, which meant “Ghost Wolf”. In fact, he was a man who was favored by “Goldrinn” the wolf demigod.

Later on, Varian formed a new team with two legendary beings, the Druid, Broll Bearmantle, and the Assassin, Valeera Sanguinar. It was truly an unparalleled gladiator team.

The team won the tournament in Dire Maul’s ring under King Varian’s lead, who then escaped…

Okay, that was all that Sean told them.

Sean concluded after finishing his story, “In short, the current King Varian has become a famous gladiator who’s gaining honor for Rehgar’s team. He’s definitely in a large-scaled arena now, either the Circle of Blood Arena, the Dire Maul Arena, or even other arenas…”

Jaina exclaimed when she heard what he said, “What? Varian became a gladiator?”

She and Aegwynn looked at each other in disbelief.

The King of Stormwind, who was also the Alliance’s High King, actually became a gladiator? Although Varian was indeed one of the most powerful Warriors, someone who loved combat, he could not actually become a gladiator! How could Stormwind maintain its magnificence? How could the Alliance maintain its dignity?

More importantly, life or death was not discussed in the arena. As powerful as King Varian was, there was a probability of him making a mistake, and it would be a huge issue if he actually died in the arena.

Sean added, “That’s all I know, I have no idea which exact arena is King Varian at now.”

Jaina took a deep breath to calm herself down, then expressed firmly, “No matter which arena he’s at now, I’ll find him! Please take a rest here while I go search!”

Being Azeroth’s first female diplomat, Jaina’s tricks must not be underestimated.

The news was heard from Orgrimmar after three days – Rehgar was heading to Dire Maul’s Arena with his gladiator team to participate in a gladiator tournament. The team members include a strong Human Warrior, a powerful Night Elf Druid, and an agile Blood Elf Assassin.

Therefore, unquestionably, the three members were King Varian, Broll Bearmantle, and Valeera Sanguinar.

Without further ado, Jaina was going to set out for Dire Maul’s Arena to save King Varian.

However, Sean stopped her.

He smiled bitterly when Jaina cast a questioning look at him. “Lady Jaina, I admit that you’re very powerful, and that you’re a rare Archmage, but are you sure that you can save King Varian from Dire Maul? Do you know that Dire Maul has hundreds and thousands of High Elves, uncountable Ogre Mages, as well as evil and fearsome Satyrs? There are Ogre Mage leaders who aren’t much weaker than you, and plenty of strong gladiators. Besides, Rehgar isn’t an easy match as he’s extremely powerful. Lady Jaina, please don’t be reckless.”

Jaina widened her beautiful eyes as she was surprised.

It had been long since someone gave her such a remark. ‘This Half-Elf in front of me actually said that I’m reckless? This is simply… A joke!’

Jaina was about to argue when Aegwynn stopped her and said, “Jaina, Sean’s right, you’re being quite reckless, this isn’t an easy problem to handle. Dire Maul has been separated from the world for more than ten thousand years. Even though it has been slowly opening up to outsiders these past few years, nobody is certain of the exact situation on the inside. We need to plan this carefully.”

Following that, Aegwynn looked at Sean with her beautiful eyes that were filled with wisdom and kindness. “Young mage, do you have a good suggestion?”

Sean did not expect Aegwynn to treat him so politely, which really disrupted his tempo.

After a moment of hesitation, Sean replied embarrassedly, “I don’t have a good suggestion, but I have a bad one… You know, I’m a Half-Elf, but you don’t know what my family name is. In actual fact, my full name isn’t Sean Saldean, it’s Sean Feathermoon.”

Aegwynn’s eyes lit up. “Feathermoon? Shandris Feathermoon’s Feathermoon? Feathermoon Stronghold’s Feathermoon?”

Sean nodded.

A smile was seen on Aegwynn’s face.

She figured out Sean’s idea easily.

Feeling guilty from being stared at, Sean lowered his head shyly.

Jaina frowned. “Mage Sean, are you saying that you’re from General Shandris Feathermoon’s clan? What exactly is your relationship with her? Are you trying to tell me that you can seek help from General Shandris to help us save King Varian?”

Shandris Feathermoon was another legendary figure, and was said to be the last member of the Feathermoon family’s bloodline for ten thousand years.

Outsiders might not be aware of this fact, but the Night Elf elders who have lived for ten thousand years, Aegwynn who had rich experiences, and Jaina who was extremely close to the Night Elf leaders, knew very well that almost everyone from the Feathermoon family died in the War of the Ancients ten thousand years ago. Shandris Feathermoon, who was only a little girl then, was one of the few survivors, and was favored by Tyrande Whisperwind, a high priestess, and became a member of the Sisterhood of Elune.

Shandris Feathermoon soon grew up to be a general who held great responsibilities, and after Tyrande Whisperwind established the night elven Sentinels, she became the General of the Sentinel Army.

The legendary figure was exceptionally powerful, and it was said that she could easily eliminate an entire elite team. Only a few people such as the legendary Archdruid, Malfurion, the Demon Hunter, Illidan, and the Priestess of the Moon, Tyrande, were superior to her.
