"Qi-gege, I really can't find anything else wrong with you. I recommend looking for another doctor. Maybe they might have more knowledge about the matter." Zhao Yan explained.

Luo Qi's eyes smiled like a fox's as he spoke.

"I'm not comfortable with other people touching me."

All the people in the room felt different waves of emotions after hearing this: ???

Was this man joking?

Luo Hanting sighed to himself. His young master was contradicting himself by sitting so closely to Miss Lin and letting Miss Lin touch his wrist to feel his pulse.

Luo Qi was unaware of what his bodyguard was thinking so he continued.

"But I will tell you about my symptoms. You see.. I feel odd recently.. It's like this. I often find myself thinking endlessly about someone." Luo Qi started, smiling playfully.

Luo Hanting made a face while Jae Ha's eyes turned sharper.

Zhao Yan who was unaware: ???

Luo Qu didn't seem to care about them because he continued on, unbothered. "No matter how much I try to forget that person, they would appear in my mind and I can't seem to stop myself from thinking about them. This has been going on for weeks which I find troubling. I can't seem to concentrate on my books or poems. It's gotten worse to the point that I have trouble sleeping because I was thinking of this person." Luo Qi sighed as he said this.

He really looked like he was weighed down with this problem but his bodyguard, Luo Hanting could tell it was all b ▪ l l s h ▪ t. The young master did not find it troubling at all.

Luo Hanting even saw him grinning and smiling alone which was really creepy so he did not believe that this bothered the young master at all.

"I don't really know why it was happening but it is unsettling. I wonder what makes that person special that I find myself thinking about them more often than not. I also find myself having chest pains everytime I think that I might not see that person again. It was more painful than a stabbed wound." He placed a hand on his hand in a dramatic manner and sighed again to further compliment his words, thoroughly making it seem like his words were  believable.

Zhao Yan nodded slowly, vey engrossed in his explanation.

Luo Hanting was in disbelief. What stabbed wound? His young master has never been stabbed before! This aloof and distant scholar was sheltered and protected by many. It was impossible for him to get stabbed. If anyone was stabbed, it was always Luo Hanting, not the young master.

Luo Hanting wanted to sneer at his young master's dramatic words while looking at Miss Lin's face to see what she felt about the matter.

He was stunned when he saw the undisguised curiosity in her eyes as if she was hearing about a very awe-inspiring story.

Even Jae Ha was exasperated. Was the young lady that innocent..?

Chun Lan was just like Zhao Yan. Having zero experience when it comes to romance, she was also convinced that this was some mysterious disease so she looked on with an attentive gaze, astounding Jae Ha and Luo Hanting who were the only two people aware of what was really happening.

Luo Qi continued to explain and because he was scholar who has a natural way of making words more flowery than not, it exaggerated a lot of things

"It is really a strange disease!" Zhao Yan declared with a troubled look. She has never heard such a weird disease before and this greatly intrigued her.

Luo Qi smiled wider. "It is. But I discovered something. Once I was able to see the person I was thinking about, all my worries and pain would vanish. It was akin to a dream. I find myself feeling much happier than normal and my chest pains have disappeared like they were never there in the first place."

Zhao Yan nodded eagerly. "So Qi-gege's disease was cured after seeing the person you were thinking about? It is that simple?"

"Yes. It is such an odd disease, being cured using such a simple solution."

Zhao Yan agreed without hesitation. "This disease will not repeat itself, right? Qi-gege, you must continue to see that person you were thinking about just to make sure that the disease does not come back again and goes away for good. Chest pains will make it difficult for you so please continue seeing that person." She said seriously.

Luo Qi's lips twitched as he looked at her. "I will listen to your advice."

Luo Hanting could not believe what he was seeing or hearing. He looked at his young master then to Miss Lin before looking at the other maid who was just as clueless about the situation.

These people were like innocent baby chicks!

On the other hand, Jae Ha was looking at Luo Qi with a sinister smile. She could not wait to throw this man out and separate him from the young lady.

Unfortunately for her, the young lady was very interested about any medicine related things and could not differentiate between right and wrong at the moment, so engrossed in the topic that she failed to realize how simple the matter was.

Jae Ha was even a bit surprised. No wonder His Highness was very obsessed when it comes to the young lady. She was an innocent little belle who did not even know what romance between men and women were! This made Jae Ha quite curious about the circumstances that led to the young lady getting pregnant.

If she was this innocent about love, how was the young lady able to bed His Highness? Or maybe.. maybe it was the other way around? Jae Ha was very shocked because it seemed more like the case.

She often heard the lady mumbling about how shameless His Highness were but she merely thought the lady was shy and embarrassed.

Thinking about it, the matter does not seem very simple at all.

She was suddenly so curious and wanted to go ask Senior Si Chong or Senior Si Yao for some answers.

"Other than that, I am curious what Qi-gege brought in my home? What are all the chests and boxes for?" Zhao Yan finally noticed the numerous boxes and chests in the room.

Luo Qi smiled faintly before answering, "These are gifts from me. Yan'er is pregnant, right? I brought you a lot of precious herbs and tonics to nourish your body. There's also a few pieces of silk and clothes inside and some accessories. I have never fully expressed my gratitude to Yan'er for saving my life so I brought all of this for you. I hope Yan'er will accept them, otherwise, I would feel bad."

Zhao Yan did not register the rest of his words. The only thing that registered in her mind was the way he called her 'Yan'er'.
