'So the special gacha expires randomly?' I ask the system while feeling the strength from physical hunt seeth out of my body.

As I'm talking with the system the skill physical hunt ends and a wave of exhaustion flows over me as my knees buckle and I fall down face first onto the floor due to the skills recoil of taking in stats my body couldn't handle.

As I'm falling I feel what seems to be a hand grab onto me before I hit the floor. A haughty voice speaks to me rushing to confirm if I am alright or not but it seems I can't move my mouth to reply. A wave of drowsiness crashes into me but I try to hold on as best as I can.

After an unknown amount of time passed I can hear again, and my vision starts to get better.

"He seems to be coming to. Hey can you hear me." the voice from earlier says as I feel a light slap on my face.

As I regain the ability to talk I reply, "Yeah I can hear you, Edward." I say as I rub my eyes while trying to get up.

"How are you feeling?" Silvia says as she reaches out her hand to help me up.

"I've had better days." I reply as I get up and look around.

Seeing my confused face as I look around us Silvia explains. "You've been out for about an hour now, we moved out of the area and we moved you as we headed towards a safe place to camp."

"Is that so. Thank you for bringing me here. The skill I used had a huge rebound, I don't think I should use it that often." it seems that it was on their minds but for some reason, they didn't ask. It won't really affect me if they know about physical hunt since it isn't permanent.

"Is it fine to tell us that, before you used it you seemed to be hesitant about it." Edward says.

"It's fine, it isn't a secret. It isn't that important to me anyways." I say trying to pass it off as not important.

"Alright then, rest up until we get ready to head back." Silvia says as she heads to the nearest tent to clean up.

Upon seeing Silvia start to clean up Edward starts to talk.

"Are you sure your alright? You seemed exhausted earlier." Edward says. I don't know about you guys but he seems less haughty to me. It's still there but it seems less.

Upon using counter vanish nothing felt different than normal, the mana used for the skill is still the same, it left my body at the same rate but this time it activated without the need for a target. After activating it I hear someone talk.

"Why isn't this working all of a sudden. It is supposed to use the mana in the area, it was working for a little and then shut off out of nowhere." the voice of Rose complains as I look over to see her messing with what looks to be a lighter.

"Is that a lighter?" I ask trying to cover my guilt.

"Yeah, I made it so I didn't have to use my own mana in case of emergencies. Seeing as you know what it is I should assume you're like me and Finn yes? Oh, it seems your recovered I'll tell the others." Rose says explaining as she looks at me and sees I'm completely fine. She heads off towards Elaine and Silvia.

Silvia and Elaine finish packing all of our tents and supplies as we head off back towards town.
