Reborn princess: I will change my ill-fate

99 Chapter 99. Announcement - 1

Today was the last day of festival and the Lake Cosmos was soon to be decorated with pretty little boats after the Emperor releases the first boat after his annocement for this year.

Many people from various parts of the Seazle empire came here, and also, the people of the capital. Everyone would come here on this day to see the royals. The royals only came out together on important occasions and this festival is one of them.

They could all see, the royals and the heirs on this day as all of them gathered and left the boats into the lake, wishing for bright future and their personal wishes to be fulfilled.

So, everything was set in order and all the brave commanders who only appeared during the time of wars, were called monitoring the whole festival area. The guards were all spread according to divisions for any suspicious activities.

A huge platform was set up in the wide ground which could accommodate almost all the people who came to the festival, to see the royals. The ground was along the banks of the Lake Cosmos, which was usually occupied by small vendors, but on last day it was dedicated for a stage for the Emperor to address his citizens.

The sky was setteling with dark colors, indicating the night was soon to come and it was almost time for the royals to come to the grounds. People were slowly gathering around and the guards stood like pillars to fulfill their duty of protecting the royals.

Loud murmurs and laughter were heard in the crowd. Children were carried up by their parents, so that they could also see what's happening above. Everyone were waiting for the royals to appear.

Just then, a loud trumpet sound reverberated through the whole space making the crowds murmurs to elevate. It was the indication that the royals are arriving.

A golden carrier was seen from a far and the Emperor of Seazle, Alexander Seazle stepped out from his grand carriage. He then, stretched his hand and out stepped the Queen of the Seazle, Clara Seazle.

The Queen carefully descended from the carriage and the royal couple shared small smile and proceeded towards the stage that was built for today.

As soon as, they stepped out, loud cheers were heard, as the crowd were cheering for their Emperor. The guards immediately surrounded Alexander and Clara, forming a tough barrier around him.

Andrew and other general, came to either side of couple and guards were around them in a circle, keeping the Emperor and the Queen in the middle of it. The guards were big and tough, covered in black armors. They were Emperor's own personal guards.

They both walked up to the stage with his hands holding his Queen's. Even though he was sweet towards his queen, authority was practically oozing out of him and surrounding him, giving him the true Emperor aura.

The crowd were enthusiastically, chanting "Long live, our Emperor. Long live, our Queen". Alexander softly smiled at the affection his citizens were showing him. It brought satisfaction to his heart, that he is doing his duty, correctly.

The crowd who were close to the location of where the royals got off the carriage, noticed a new carriage coming and were focused on it, trying to figure out which royal would step out.

The carriage was also gold and the crowd understood. Soon, everyone shifted their focus onto the carriage and out stepped the Crown Prince, the heir to the Seazle throne, young and handsome, Evan Seazle in all his glory.

The young prince stepped out and his aide, Peter, immediately joined his side and similar to the Emperor's security, his own personal guards, surrounded him.

They escorted the prince onto the stage, with the crowd still going wild in the ground. They have seen the prince when he returned from City Valencia, but they didnt get a good look of him.

After all, the Palace grounds were very large and the crowd had to be half a mile far from the Palace, for the security reasons. But, now, they could see the future Emperor up close. So, the cheers were getting loud and clear as Evan approached the stage.

Alexander's heart swelled with pride. He was happy and relieved that the citizens were able to accept Evan as their Crown Prince and future Emperor.

Evan went onto the stage, his gold and cream robes elegantly flowing with each step he took. His dark locks were freely flowing and gave his more of a dreamy look, with the dim lighting from the sky and the autumn breeze that took up the pace.

As soon as, he stood beside his father, he bowed to him and the queen and greeted them respectfully. All the Generals and Dukes and aides that accompanied the main royals stood behind them.

And, now, it was the turn of royal ladies to come into the picture.

Everyone were excited to see them as well. The ladies would be clad in royal robes and expensive jewellery would be glowing in this bright festival. Increasing the shine to the festival along with the bright smiles on the citizens faces.

Another carriage was seen to stop and the crowd all waited in anticipation on who would step out. The door opened and out stepped two beautiful ladies. The other two queens of the Emperor.

Queen Amanda was first one to step out with a warm smile spread across her face and was followed by a little girl nearly an age of seven. Princess Alicia, the youngest daughter of Alexander. The little girl, immediately clutched onto her mother's hand as soon as she saw the huge crowd, whose cheers were getting louder.

It was not everyday she gets to see a crowd this big and the loud sounds were scaring her. Queen Amanda softly patted the neatly done hair of the princess and smiled, reassuringly. Alicia grinned back and turned around to see in the carriage.

A small head peeked out of the carriage door, curious eyes scanning the surroundings. "Fear not, brother. We all will protect you." Alicia giggled out and went near the carriage.

A small boy, who was only around five to six years stepped out, hesitantly. He was soon followed by his mother. The last Queen, Queen Daisy. And, the little boy, the young prince and the youngest of all Alexander's children, Prince Julias.

Once, the first royal ladies Alog with children were clad with security around them, they proceeded towards the stage and the queens stood beside Queen Clara. The children first greeted their father and when he acknowledged them, they latched to his side, making him smile.

Evan observed his siblings, whom he didnt see as they were born when he was away studying in another city. He too, gave out small smile, seeing how adorable they were being. When he saw how his father smiled at them, he felt a little pinch of jealousy in his heart, but he dismissed them all.

The people in the huge crowd cooed at the sight. The interaction between the Emperor and the youngest little royals was simple adorable. Admist, all this distraction, everyone failed to notice, another carriage that stopped in the area of parking.

Evan's eyes diverted from his father and siblings and went onto the stopped carriage and he knew, who was going to step out from it.His heart started racing suddenly and he didn't knew why was it happening.

The carriage door opened and finally, the apple of everyone's eyes, the empire's most loved and beautiful princess stepped out, Princess Aeinshia.

The crowd finally took notice of her and the cheers suddenly multiplied by the number of three, when they saw the princess and soon to be Empress.

Evan was expecting her to walk towards them, but she looked back into the carriage, seemingly waiting for someone. Evan frowned as he didnt knew the reason and thought she might be waiting for her brother, Felix.

But, that idea soon dispersed when hE saw Felix come from the opposite direction from where Aeinshia was looking. Just then, a girl, who looked very adorable with her pink colored royal robes, stepped down from the carriage.

"Apologies, sister Aeinshia. My robe was stuck over there." Little Princess Lucia, said while pointing to the steps and cutely pouted while inspecting for any damage on her new robes.

Aeinshia just chuckled at her. Ah, how she missed spending time with this goof ball, who is eldest daughter of the Emperor. She clumsy and bubbly, but intelligent princess.

"Its alright, princess. There seems to be no damage to your robes, so it would be good, if we proceed ahead." She said softly and turned her attention towards her side, where she felt a presence.
