Reborn princess: I will change my ill-fate

Felix's ears twitched listening to her words. This society is not new to him. People only come to you when they sense you got something useful for them and leave you when we need help or treat you like a thrash when we are not of any use to them. He only let those ladies stay with Aeinshia because she used to like spending time with them before and thought she is capable of playing with those little deers around.

However, today he understood, that's not the case anymore and she is still too weak to take this gambit and succeed. But he is happy for some part. Atleast his sister is not too weak, she understood their intentions. However, the thing is she should understand that fact and should go along with them, and when time comes she need to hit the nail on the head and pin them down. That's how one should play. Crying over betrayal won't result anything.

Don't get him wrong. Felix is the type eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth. He hits people taking the advantage of their weak point. He is usually very calm and understanding in nature. However, everyone got their barrier of endurance, patience and tolerance. He always followed one thing, ' Don't mess with me, if you do, then get ready to lose everything you got '. To him this is a wild forest filled with wild beasts. One flick Second of carelessness, you will be hunted down till there is no ounce of energy left in you and then get killed. So he could never trust anyone and protect those who are close to his heart.

His sister finally saw their true purposes of approaching her, but why is she so sad? What is it that is making her unhappy? Is it because of those ladies? But shouldn't she feel happy knowing about their true colours? I knew she is sensitive, but this is beyond my imagination. Or else is there something else that is bothering her? Nothing major happened recently and she didn't even meet anyone new, so what is it that is making her heart crumble this way? Did she got rejected by Evan? Even if he rejects her, their marriage is bound to happen no matter what and I atleast could tell that Evan too cares about Aeinshia. So I highly doubt him rejecting her outrightly. Then what is it?

If he could he really wants to ease the pain buried inside her heart, however he didn't even get a single bit of knowledge on what ever it is to comfort her and remove the root cause of this pain his sister enduring.

Clicking his tongue, " Tsk~ tsk~ I never knew you were such a cry baby and here I thought you would get an amazing bride for me, " He teased her, his lips finally giving a forced smile, trying to cheer her mood.

Aeinshia pouted, " That's not a good way to turn the tables brother and I will only help you in chasing her, however I can say one thing. I will surely be a good friend to my sister-in-law and treat her nicely. So immediately start finding someone who could be a good friend to me, " She commented, her voice a little heavy and deep from her crying.

It's easier said than done. Now where can I find such an understanding bride? Never knew it's this hard to find an ideal partner. Oof~ Well, it's not required to say that I still didn't yet start to look out for anyone. I will only be sixteen soon, still got a long way to go. So, I am not much interested in worrying on such matters this soon.

Felix narrowed his eyes, " So you want me to find a wife, so that you could get a good friend from me? Don't you think you have become so greedy to ask something as such from this brother? " He replied, still amused at her reply.

Could it be that she is in depression for losing friends? But those are good for nothing tots, they will eventually leave her. Aish~ Ronaldo is also not even here to stay with her. I could only hope he comes back to capital very soon. I am sure, he could brighten up her mood and cheer her up like usual. He must be going through harsh training daily to become a top-notch knight to serve this great empire. I wish he is doing well there.

" Brother, how can you decipher it in such a way? You really did portray me as selfish. How am I selfish in any single way? Didn't you say you will do anything for my happiness? Then I just asked to find someone who deserves you and can be a good person to me. It's not like I asked you to marry someone who isn't to your liking. Aish~ I am really felling hurt now brother, " She replied, a pained expression on her face, acting in front of Felix. Her face gave a wronged expression.

Felix chuckled lightly, " Whatever you say my sis. Let nature take it's course. So, looking at you acting again, I assume things are fine now. It's about time for me to take my leave. I still got few papers which need my attention. See you soon then, " He said giving her a tight hug for the last time before taking his leave.

Aeinshia simply nodded her head vigorously like a obedient little kid. Looking at her cute actions, Felix couldn't help but pet her head lightly, so carefully that his hands won't ruin his own masterpiece.
