Reborn princess: I will change my ill-fate

The single man managed to kill already more than half of his brothers present in the cave, which only implied that Nathan isn't really a competition to Peter. They didn't have a one to one fight and fought in groups with Peter, even then,the victory followed Peter, which shows his superior combat skills and swordmanship,and if Nathan denied it, then he is only a fool, who got no idea about himself and his strengths.

So he decided to kill Aeinshia right this moment for messing up with their plans by inviting many uninvited guests, on top of that for threatening many of his comrades lives. He never expected, this docile looking beauty is actuya beauty with brain, who successfully managed to create many counter feats to their attack. On top of that, she is successful in creating no doubts in her secret moves and appeared harmless successfully

He decided to give some time for his underlings to escape, while he distract Peter. He might be not on par regarding his skills compared to Peter, but that doesn't mean he is so weak to not at least save few of his comrades. After all, he is the leader of this troop, no matter how vicious and wild natured they were, in the end, they were all his responsibility.

In swift moments, in no time, he ended up near Aeinshia. Raising his hands, his sword made it's move to kill the princess. However, right at this moment, the princess got up and tried to stand on her foot, while he lost his footing while watching all the Aeinshia and her unsteady steps.

Normally this is a great chance to him now, but seeing everything happened at last minute, it became hard to control his movements and sword, with no option left, he released his grip on the sword and threw it towards Aeinshia.

The sword flung towards Aeinshia aiming for her head. Racing against time, he knew, utmost this is his only opportunity to kill the princess and if it's not now, then never. So he directly aimed for her head, as he couldn't take any chance now.

While Nathan began to brim with happiness for atleast avenging for his comrades, Aeinshia began to feel wobbly and swung to and fro. She isn't in the right state to at least dodge the knife.

Both swords dashed each other, while Peters dagger successfully diverted the direction of Nathan's sword, resulting both the weapons to fall on the ground with a clanking sound.

Nathan understood that his plan to kill the princess won't be successful until Peter is alive, so he immediately made his way towards Peter in a highly frustrated state, as he couldn't even stand the sight of Peter.

Meanwhile, Nathan blew a whistle for his men to retreat and gave him way to reach Peter, while in his way, he signalled his men to escape the cave. As per the given orders, most them complied and was ready to run for their lives, while few black pawns, who were loyal to Nathan stayed back there.

Both the men faced each other, none of them got any weapons in their hands. It's a hand to hand challenge.

Nathan didn't do any further ado and aimed for his first move. He flicked his left leg straight out and aimed for Peter's knees.

Peter quickly dodged away from his simple yet highly effective form of attack.

Nathan strengthened up his fists and aimed at Peter's abdomen, and then at Peter's face with his legs, as he decided to do a 180 degrees kick. However, Peter bent 30 degrees escaping his kick once again.

Seeing all his attacks fail like that from last 10 minutes of match Nathan felt a flare of anger within him.

Peters reflexive actions were far more greater than he expected it to be. He is approximately three to four times faster compared to Nathan.

Nathan knew, he can't be covered in anger, atleast not when he involved in a fight, but he can't help it. This is the time, where he faced a do or die situation and need to atleast save his comrades, as he couldn't even kill the girl who is reason for all this mess.

He really felt bad for knowing how weak is his team, no, that's not the correct formation, he never expected the other party or the knights from Imperial palace were this skillful and always looked down on them. This at least made him feel his death isn't really a waste, after all, he is dying only after fighting without giving up and his death is waiting in the hands of a true warrior.

"Don't you know how to strike back?", he cross-questioned Peter in a flushed tone.

" Show me what you got to show. Let me witness your attacking skills, " Peter uttered calmly. Since Nathan is the leader, Peter decided to not go any easy on him, unlike with all other black pawns. Who got the audacity to plan such evil doings on his friends lover? No one can leave this cave being alive. That's what he initially thought actually.

Usually Peter is an attacker, however,unlike his routine, he is standing there in a defending mode. The irony is that, for almost ten minutes, Peter didn't budge an inch from his place and only defended all the attacks of Nathan. Nathan began to attack once more.Just when he thought Peter was dodging once again,he caught Nathan in surprise by grabbing his neck with right hand,banged his hand on Nathan's neck with other hand and then he wrapped his arm around his neck, locking Nathan till his oxygen cut off.

He only released his hold of Nathan when he felt Nathan might collapse right here. This is not done yet, he will take few of the men back to palace and should conduct a thorough investigation. As such the leader plays a very major part in investigation, as he is the one who knows alot information compared to his underlings.

He could kill everyone right this moment, but he won't, because, this isn't only a matter of responsibility for today's event. If this attack isn't succeeded, then there might be another in future, so he need to remove the root cause of the problem to ensure Aeinshia's safety. For that, he atleast need to let them live for few more days and find out the one, who is responsible for passing down such orders.

" What? That's it? I expected alot more from you. Let me give you another chance. This time I will let you be in an advantage against me, " Saying that, he walked back and bent down to take sword.

Throwing the sword at Nathan feet, he continued, " Take the sword and attack, " He ordered.

Nathan's eyes moved between Peter and the sword. He fell into a contemplation. After what felt like an eternity, he decided to take the sword. He already witnessed Peters skills and strengths and knew he isn't a match to Peter, so he decided to take the advantage which Peter gave him.

Gripping the sword tightly, he moved the sword towards Peters chest, while Peter slightly bent towards his back to avoid it. Unlike before, Nathan's sword fighting skills impressed Peter

" Looks like you are good at swordmanship. How about an offer?, " He questioned back Nathan, however, both of them didn't stop their actions.

Nathan forwarded, as he aimed at split Peter into half. Peter understood Nathan's move and in counterattack, he only moved to his side, his hands clasping between the sword.

Not after long, Peter bent the sword to a side, leaving Nathan in an amused state at Peters strength.

" Looks like you are using low quality materials in making swords, " Peter commented and hand kicked the amused Nathan in his abdomen.

Blood began to spurge out of his mouth, the result of Peters amazing and powerful attacks.
