Original Wolf -

Chapter 29 - Original Jaguar Gareth

Shifting into his Noblesse form, his senses were at their peak, he could even see and hear a fly flap its wings from a mile away if he concentrated. He could even smell the shit particles that are stuck on its tiny little feet if he wanted to.

Nevan would never do that though, now able to control them, he mostly kept his sense on lock down, only allowing them to do more then normal when the situation demanded it.

He ran at hypersonic speed as he started searching the forest sector by sector, It wasn't long before he searched the whole forest coming up empty. He realized a week was a long time, enough time for them to have run far away, but since they like magic he thought there was the off chance that they just cloaked their base and hid away. He believed they still were unaware of his magical transformation, the only ones to find out so far have all died.

He made sure this time to aim his eyes everywhere as he double checked the forest. This time he didn't miss the hard to see hidden tomb that was behind a waterfall, which made it hard to see the first time around. The magical waves coming from the cloaking spell was hard to spot among the falling water. Only reason he didn't miss it the second time is because he enjoys waterfalls and decided to take a break at this one since he was coming up empty, he got lucky.

The roar of the waterfall was deafening as he made his way past the cloak into the cave, echoing off the smooth walls. This cave was mostly likely made by their earth style magic like back at the Volcano mountain.

Coming out the end, it opened up just like the last one he was in, a flat top pyramid of the same type sitting there in the middle. He could smell jaguars all over, none seemed to be outside though.

A week before.

Gareth (The Original Jaguar) was ejected out of Ramiro from the pain, he took a severe backlash, coughing up blood as he awoke back into his real body. Gareth the ever cautious like the rest of his brethren was now fearful of being out of the loop, no matter how confident he was in his army killing them off.

He ordered for the entrance to be cloaked as they went into lockdown mode until they could get word back from their people that everything worked as planned.

With the first couple days passing he grew more paranoid by the second, waiting till the third day to past before he took drastic measures.

He called for help with a magic circle to the other Originals of his kind- "Anyone copy, I need help."

"Gareth is that you? gareth, gareth, gareth, tsk, tsk...You have made our master angry with not just you, but all of us."

Gareth paled- "I don't understand, everything is still going according to plan."

"While we are a cautious species by nature, it's a fine line between cautious and cowardly and you have crossed it."

Gareth now angered yelled back- "I did everything as it should be done, in what way was a cowardly?"

"The master has received your army and your army alone, do you understand?"

Gareth now ashened- "But our enemy was the orange eyed devil, I had to play it as safe as possible, no mistakes could be made, where there is life there is another chance." He understood the master only received the cannon fodder he sent, but he held back his main jaguar people, he feared committing to anything when it came to the black wolf and he had no idea how his people would react. The master never even told them he was alive.

Gareth was not a fool, he made sure to keep the information he's gathered a secret from the rest.

"Gareth, tell us what you've been up to, the master has not been forthcoming when it comes to information outside of what he needs from us."

Gareth sneering- "If you want the information, you'll have to set up a transportation array to receive me in person." Knowing if he told them he would be left to rot here.

A long agonizing silence descended as he waited for a response, sighing in relief when he heard from them.

"You have nothing to fear, your still far too valuable to leave, Vico will be setting up the array and will receive you."

Gareth a bit to paranoid felt a huge weight lift off of him, an Original was after all worth far to much just to throw away.

Gareth- "Good, you should hurry, time is of the essence." still afraid even though he was confident in the cloak never being seen through, it was best to put as much distance between himself and the black wolf until he was certain of what his foe was capable of.

At this moment all he knew is the wolf has a new form and can wipe out an army by himself, which was an upgrade from when he ran with a pack. He had no idea what the wolf was truly capable of, but at least they didn't know that.

"It'll be ready in three days, I assume your cloaked at the moment so you should be fine till then."

Gareth gritted his teeth- "I'll be ready."

Nevan made his way up the pyramid when he noticed the magic forming at the top. Drawing closer he began to hear a voice cursing out loud.

"Those bastards actually delayed it a day just to spite me, hateful bastards, do they think this is a game." (Gareth)

"Hurry it up, it's starting, get in the middle." (Gareth)

Realizing he was late to the party only had enough time to pick out one before it completed. Seeing the only jaguar transformed like his werewolf form decided he was the boss and zoomed over tackling him out of the formation as it flashed the rest away.

Nevan now staring down at the jaguar who screamed, "Noooo! I was so close." looking up at Nevan with a devastated face.

Nevan grinning- "What do we have here? feels like your one of the Originals, seems you benefited from the resurrection, how does it feel to walk on two legs?"

Gareth regaining his composure sneered at Nevan- "That's right, I have benefited, this won't be as easy as you think, I'll make sure even if you do win you pay a steep price." Getting up to face Nevan with his 7ft tall height, green eyes glowing as he prepared himself.

Gareth rushed towards Nevan angrily swiping at him, each of his strikes dodged by Nevan who was growing bored.

Nevan letting out a yawn in between a dodge started to ask- "You know I never did get your name."

Gareth growing frustrated lifted both his hands slamming them down towards Nevan who dodged backwards only for the earth crack open trying to swallow him. He activated his aura and levitated above it.

Gareth face went pale seeing him use a form of magic, the one thing he was suppose to have an advantage over.

Nevan seeing him just about to give up landed off to the side and started to shift into a werewolf. Now standing a foot above him, Gareth lost what was left of his will and fell to his knees.

Gareth fear stricken started to mutter- "Impossible, no, no, no."

Nevan now right before him looked down and gave out a roar snapping Gareth out of it as he looked up at Nevan panic stricken.

Gareth unwilling to die tried to bargain for his life- "That boy Ramiro was it? I can save him, isn't he mindless mess? I can fix that if you let me live."

Nevan laughed- "Haha, your to funny, not only do I not believe you, but I could care less for that waste, in fact I have already killed him myself for being a traitor, regardless of whether he was controlled or not, fact remains he allowed himself to be used to harm his pack, penalty is death."

Nevan then thought of something that he would be willing to do, his grin making Gareth shutter.

Nevan- "If you can teach me how to take over someone's body, I'll let you live."

Gareth- "Impossible, you have to have gone through the same thing I went through being revived in order to comprehend it."

Nevan looking sad- "That's a shame, well on the upside maybe your corpse will teach me."

Gareth looking at Nevan b.a.r.e his fangs screamed out- "Wait! Wait!, I have infor...."

He never got to finish as Nevan bit a chunk of his head off, before continuing to eat the rest. After finishing, saddened by the fact he didn't learn how to body snatch, he shifted back into his Noblesse form so he could really let off some steam.

Upon impact with the pyramid it practically shattered it as the blades ripped through, at some point exploding with the following sonic boom collapsing the whole cave.

Exiting the cave he jumped up right before the collapse and watched as the whole mile long area crumbled in on itself, destroying the river that was running on top and the waterfall it was behind.

'Well that's a shame, I'll have to be careful from now on, when deciding to let loose.' he solemnly thought.
