Original Wolf -

Chapter 12 - First Meeting

A news report in a small town not so far away from Vegas, was of a never before seen wolf and later a n.a.k.e.d man showing up at a clothing store.

Mean while Nevan still in Vegas was contemplating what to do now, 'I could continue my plan of collecting numbers, but Rebekah should have calmed down enough by now to have a talk and if I wait to long I risk her family showing up again before I can make my move.'

Having his answer he made his way to the last known location of Rebekah to track her down.

It wasn't long before he was standing outside a bar called Moonshadows located between Los Angeles and Malibu right on the coast. It was night and the bar seemed to be packed, the dark lighting they had made it look very nice, especially on the deck, he noticed as he made his way over to the ever gorgeous Rebekah Mikaelson.

She was sitting alone at a small 2 chair table, but considering her looks she was soon swarmed by a few jock like men. Nevan frowning watched on from a distance to see what she would do.

One of the drunker bigger ones was loudly talking, "Well look at you, aren't you fine woman, tell me what is a good looking girl doing all by yourself?" Not letting her answer he continued as he sat across from her with support from his friends- "I don't know what sad sack left you here, but I will definitely not fail to disappoint, if you know what i mean." he grinned at her.

Rebekah simply watched all this quietly, as she was quite use to it at this point. The disgusting last comment though made her frown,- "Get away from me you pig, just cause we're at bar doesn't mean you get to go up to every girl and try and hump them."

The drunk jock hearing his 2 friends laughing at him made him angry,- "Bitch your not that pretty, I was doing you a favor seeing as even your man dumped you." His friends laughing at this giving him a high five saying to Rebekah,= "OH! shit, you just got burned."

Rebekah turned angry at hearing about being dumped, even though she did move on from Marcel it wasn't a nice feeling being dumped for a city. It didn't help when they all started laughing either.

Rebekah with a snarling face said,- "Look here!..good." As they turned to look at her she quickly went from one to the other compelling them to strip their clothes and jump over the deck to go swimming. She then sat back down sipping her drink to watch the show.

One of the friends late to the party having been in the bathroom returned to see his friends all stripping. "What the heck you guys doing...stop taking your clothes off, how drunk are you bastards?" He noticed they were in some sort of trance not responding so he slapped one- "Wake up what are you doing?" Other people watching were giggling at their antics.

The man was pushed out of the way as the 3 of them made their way over to the railing, before anyone could even react, they all jumped over. All the people now rushed to the edge, some screaming even a few crying, all wondering what was going on, why did they do this.

While they were on the coast, they weren't directly over the water. The three men jumped over, down a fair distance, onto some rocks breaking their legs and other body parts as blood started to poor out. Still compelled to go swimming they started to crawl with broken limbs and gashes over the rocks to make it to the ocean.

While all the people were freaking out, some even passing out to the craziness of them still crawling. Nevan walked over to the now amused Rebekah.

Nevan said with a grin- "Rebekah Mikaelson as I live and breath."

Rebekah looked over and upon seeing him, her hand went to her neck rubbing it. Nevan's lip started twitching seeing this 'Shit she remembers.'

Rebekah being use to unusual situations didn't flip out at him even though he snapped her neck, "It's you, the one who snapped my neck back in the alley….how did you manage to do that?" thinking about how she's an Original it shouldn't have been possible for some random joe to snap her neck.

Nevan started to sweat at hearing this, of course in time he would tell her everything but it would be way to awkward and probably damaging to speak of it now. Luckily though Rebekah was never a deep thinker she quickly brushed it off as her not being in her right mind, "I guess you were lucky I was having a bad day."

Rebekah- "Your quiet brave showing up in front of me again, what do you want."

Nevan now feeling gloomy 'She only remembers me snapping her neck and she didn't even read my nice note.'

"Well I was hoping we could get to know each other better, I know we started off on the wrong foot, but I've been an admirer of yours for centuries now." He said slipping in the word centuries hoping she would bite.

Rebekah squinted her eyes at him- "Centuries huh, are you a stalker?"

Nevan just felt an arrow pierce his heart, he just isn't having any luck with her. He quickly denied it "No, its just I've seen you from time to time over the years and I always thought you looked magnificent, I would have asked you out a long time ago, but you were never alone." seeing Rebekah's mood get worst at the subtle mention of Niklaus, 'Shit can't catch a break.' he tried to quickly fix whatever small hope he had left.

"But! Now that your free I was wondering if you would like to go on a date? Come and have a bit of fun with me, it's never to late to enjoy yourself, or find someone good." he whispered the last part, but being an original vampire she easily heard it and the word free did put a smile back on her face.

Rebekah- "Sure why not, a long life ahead of me, time to put the past away and try new things."

Nevan grinned- "Excellent, should we go now or…."

Rebekah interrupted- "You can pick me up tomorrow night." a girl had to get ready of course.

Nevan still grinning- "Sure see you then, My names Nevan by the way." he yelled back on his way out so as not to screw it up.

Rebekah noticing this smiled and thought 'He is good looking, it is time to turn over a new leaf.' while she has been in many terrible relationsh.i.p.s over the years, that was always under the ever vigilant and paranoid Niklaus. With him no longer around, for the first time in her life, the ever optimistic Rebekah was hoping that things would be different now.
