"Die…false deity..." With a kinda strange and empty expression, Eden threw his spear!

SWISH! CRACK! BOOM!

His blood-red spear thoroughly tore apart Enel's three thunder beasts and even space itself. 

The whole Skypiea island trembles at the sound of this spear being unleashed upon their 'God'.

Swish!

"!!!?" Enel incapable to move, entirely restrained on the spot, looked on powerlessly with wide eyes as the blood-red spear ultimately made its way to his ċhėst.

"N- Nooooooo!!!!!" He screamed in agony, refusing this fate of his. 'I'm a God! I cannot end up like this!'

However, those thoughts couldn't hold this mortal spear back as...

Swoosh! Sleak! Spurt!

And so, like a massive and unstoppable natural storm, Eden's spear effortlessly ripped Enel's ċhėst, impaling his heart, traversing his body going toward the cloudy ground, and even shooting through It, continuing further down.

Swoosh! 

It literally pierced Skypiea before…

BOOM! 

After having pierced Skypiea, a heavy explosion resounded followed by an immense shockwave that blasted all the clouds around while shaking the whole Skypiea.

Rumble…!

As if there was an earthquake, for the first time, the whole Skypiea was trembling...

Meanwhile…

Eden was standing in front of Enel's heart-pierced corpse...

As he looked at Enel, his eyes that were complete of an emotionless pale golden color and began to return to their original clear black eyes re-becoming more 'human'...

There was a flash of what seemed to be regret flickering in his eyes before fading away replaced with calmness.

"..." He stayed silent a bit before he finally glanced around to see various skypieans people gazing in his direction with incredulous expressions written on their faces.

Disbelief, fear, happiness, all kinds of emotions...

Though, the most present was dread…

It was understandable, their country was once conquered by the now-dead tyrant Enel, but what told them that this new one would do any good right? For all they knew, he could even be worse...

Edam seeing this then spoke without much emotion in his voice.

"…I don't know who was this guy and I apologize if he was someone important but you don't need to worry… I don't want anything from your country… in fact, I don't plan to stay any longer…" As he said that he raised his hand in a direction and made a swirling gesture as a spatial gate opened up.

But as he was about to take a step inside, some voices called him out.

"Ah, please wait!"

"Savior, wait wait!"

"...?" Edam turned around and was surprised to see a lot of inhabitants running at him with various baskets of meat, fruits, and devices of every kind.

Before he could even speak up, they were already all talking and yelling.

"Please, take this at least, those are meats and fruits exclusive to Skypiea!"

"And these are daily life devices, please accept them!" 

"This is gold, please accept it!"

"...Uh…" Edam did want to refuse but they were resolute to give it to him.

"...I will take baskets of fruit and meat then, I don't need gold…" Edam watched them and then just took the baskets of fruits and meats putting it away.

"Please, stay a bit, we want to show you our hospitality please!" Someone said with a kind of reverence in his eyes.

"Nope, that's enough, I've got to go, I have somewhere to return to… someone to see…" Edam shook his head in refuting and turned around, completely resolute to get the hell out right at this instant.

"Ah, wait, at least visit us again!"

"Yes, visit us again!"

Edam continued on his way but still lifted his hand and waved at them.

"Okay, I will visit again sometime in the future, but for now, bye…"

With that, he entered the spatial gate and disappeared from everyone's sight…

*Amazon lily's island*

The next moment, Edam reappeared at Amazon lily, right in front of a huge palace.

As he looked at it, his eyes had a mix of guilt and apprehension. He could easily feel her presence in the palace.

The island was all sunny today giving off a very fresh atmosphere, but he could also feel a tiny bit of gloominess permeating the air.

Being quite sensible to Ki's fluctuation, he understood that her aura had at one point turned unusual and malevolent even… but then slowly subsided...

'Is that inner demons?'

At the entrance of the palace, four Kuja guards were quietly speaking among themselves when they noticed his arrival.

"Halt!" The four cried in unison.

"Don't you know that the Empress doesn't receive visits for now?" One of the four guards asked and narrowed their eyes.

"..." When Edam heard that, he had a faint laugh in his heart, as a faint smile made its way to his face. 

"I…" Edam pondered. "I believe that she's... waiting for me…" and smiled, making the four girls look at each other in wonder. 

"What do you-!?" But, as they looked in his direction again… the man was completely gone without traces.

"What?! Where is she?!"

"I don't know! Call the reinforcement…!"

Inside the palace, near a certain room, there were three persons, namely Mariegold, Sandersonia, and Gloriosa who were sitting around a table and discussing.

"Big sis seemed to be a bit more cheerful as the days goes by isn't it…?" Mariegold comments and smiled. 

"Indeed, knowing that Edam was alive had lifted a huge weight off her, that's good." Sandersonia nodded with a satisfied expression.

"It seems so… but, sigh… we are in deep trouble now-...?!" Gloriossa started her sentence but completely paused as her eyes wandered and spotted someone appearing out of nowhere.

"You…?!"

Edam re-appeared again right in front of these three.

"E- Edam!?" Seeing him appearing like a ghost, their expression couldn't appear as anything other than people who actually saw one.

"Uh… yeah it's me…" 

"Uh… is she, is she here?" Edam asked and looked at the door intensely.

He asked but, actually, he already knew she was right beyond this door, he didn't need to enhance his senses or use some spiritual senses or whatever, he just knew she was there, his mouth was fully blabbering on its own to make a semblance of a conversation.

To this question, there was a small silence from the three still a bit stunned.

But, Gloriossa's eyes rolled as she broke the silence and spoke up.

"...Young idiot, of course, she's here, she's been waiting for you ever since you gave news-..."

"Excuse me…" Edam suddenly interrupted as he opened a spatial gate with his hand and a little girl came out.

"Elder Nyon, please can you take care of this child for a while…" Edam said and crouched down and looked at Eri.

"...?" Seeing this Eri had a curious expression on her face.

"Eri, sorry, stay here a moment alright? I have someone to see…"

"Uh… alright…" As if seeing that this matter was important for him, she nodded.

"O- Oy, Edam who's this child-... Nyon?!"

Swish!

However, before Gloriossa could finish her line, she saw the young man walking past her and right toward the door like a robot as if a spirit was calling out to him, ignoring everything else around.

"He… did he even hear me, Nyon?"

"I don't think so…" Sandersonia said wryly.

"Yeah… he seems totally possessed…"

"Indeed..."
